It’s funny how Vanessa thinks that Miguel has forgotten all about their deal. Well why won’t she think that way? The next morning after the night she lost her right and accepted to be his slave, he hasn’t done anything yet for her to think that he’s being serious about it.

But what the spoiled princess didn’t know was that he had been watching her all long. He has been waiting patiently for her to ask him what her role was, and when exactly their deal would come to light.

So, without wasting any more time since it is very obvious that if he left her any further to make the first move, then there’s no way he’s going to get her submission.

He took laws into his hand this morning, when her parents left for an early morning breakfast with her grandfather, he went into her room glancing at the clock beside her table to see that it’s nine o’clock and there’s no sign that she’s going to wake up.

Today was the day she met the president’s son, and her father had instructed him to give her the needed lecture about how she should behave at the party, to not attract unnecessary attention to herself from his enemies. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Also, she doesn’t know anything yet about the president’s son. Her mother had bought a gift she was to present to him. It’s very obvious to him that in no time soon, she’s going to be betrothed and get married.

That’s how it works around here. Her grandfather has been the one to issue the order that she makes it to the party. There’s nothing she can do to escape not going to be there tonight.

Yet, why does it bother him so much?

The thoughts that she’s going to get married in no time soon, to someone who she doesn’t know. It isn’t his place to be concerned about all these things. He knew that this was eventually going to happen.

Her mother has only been one lucky fellow, to have escaped that fate by getting pregnant by her father with Adrik. Her brother. But this time, there’s no guarantee that she’s going to be lucky like her.

He tried hard not to feel bad about this, but yet why does looking at her sleeping, and watching the lines frowned on her face being the reason for what today meant to her bother him so much?

Why do you care, Miguel?

His conscience proved to him, and to be sincere he actually doesn’t want to admit the truth. The truth that he’s attracted to the daughter of his boss. He’s attracted to the girl he was supposed to be guarding.

Vanessa was a child compared to him. She’s twenty, while he’s twenty nine. The age gap between them was huge to the eyes of anyone, and also to him too.

She’s too fragile for his world. The only thing he had ever known was how to pull the trigger all his life, he didn’t have a heart nor the feelings to say that he had ever experienced the feeling called love.

Her grandfather would kill him, before he touches a strand of hair on his granddaughter nor try to confess that he’s anywhere close, to saying that he has feelings for her.

So to avoid doing any of that. He masked his feelings, and went to the jug of water on the table and brought it closer to her face. In one go, he splashed water on her face, making her sit up on the bed with a jerk, while a cry left her lips.

"It’s cold" she cried, her hands moving up to clean the water on her face only to see the figures standing in front of her, Miguel.

He poured the water in the jug on her,she saw red and before she could calm down to think of the reason why. She blasted at him. " You insolent..."

"I would mind my words slave. We won’t want your parents hearing that their child has been a bad girl right?" Miguel cut short of her words, and her eyes widened when she realized what her place was, and what this was all about.

"No." She mumbled, her shoulder’s sagging as she sat back down on the bed while her eyes popped up at Miguel, pleading with him not to do that.

A smile graced the edge of his lips, when he had her where exactly he had her, and before he knew it he was coming to the other side of the bed to get more closer to her.

She watched him concentratedly, wondering what he’s about to do. But whatever it is, she has no place to talk about anything since she’s at a tight spot.

"Did my kitten forget about her deal with her master so soon?" He asked, as she watched the way her eyes widened when he called her a kitten. He could swear he heard her purr.

"N.no." she mumbled, while trying to ignore the heat forming between her legs when her called her kitten. Why was she feeling this way?

She wasn’t supposed to love this?

To feel aroused by his endearment at her. She prayed that he doesn’t notice this about her, because she would be really embarrassed if he knew that his voice was turning her on.

She gasped the moment his hand tilted her head up to meet his eyes, his eyes were looking directly into her soul. Searching for what?

"I..I.." she stuttered, she was breathing heavily and if he doesn’t stop looking at her that way, she’s definitely going to have a heart attack.

It seems Miguel understood her predicament, because he bent down and grabbed her face before saying." Deep breaths baby. Deep breaths."

She did as he said, and when things were back to normal, she couldn’t help but not wonder why exactly he was being so caring towards her.

He called her baby.

But she wouldn’t lie, she loved it.

She doesn’t know what exactly went into her, the butterflies in her stomach didn’t stop her from taking such a dangerous step, by what she did.

She didn’t waste any time by covering the space between them, and covered her lips with his own. She felt Miguel stiffen at her touch, but she didn’t care about the damn consequences of her actions.

Vanessa, what have you done?
