Naruto: I Have a Gravity Training Room-Chapter 471 - 469
"Natsuki! Are you okay?!" Tenten immediately panicked.
"What happened?!" the shop owner hurried over too.
"What's going on?" Megumi happened to be making rounds with Sakura at that moment. Hearing the commotion, she rushed over, only to see Natsuki stuck headfirst outside the window like a planted scallion. She froze on the spot.
Whose subordinate was brave enough to send even Natsuki, who had surpassed the Six Paths, flying with a single kick?!
Natsuki pulled his head back out, laughing despite himself as he fixed his hair. "I'm fine. I was listening to the baby's kicks, and then the little guy kicked once and sent me flying."
…Huh?
That answer left all of them dumbstruck.
Megumi stared, utterly shaken. "So you're saying the boss's kid isn't even born yet, and just from inside the womb, one kick actually knocked the boss flying?"
Sakura looked like she couldn't process it either. "That kick has to be at least genin-level, right? Isn't that a little too insane?"
They exchanged a look, then both nodded anyway.
Because Natsuki was always insane. And Tenten using the Six Paths ninja tools was also kind of insane. So their child having that kind of strength before being born… somehow felt perfectly normal.
The shop owner was practically vibrating with excitement. "Hahaha! That's my grandkid! That kick was so damn nice!"
Natsuki didn't feel embarrassed at all. He looked delighted instead. "This little rascal's definitely going to be a handful. I just don't know which kekkei genkai he inherited. Best case, he gets all of them."
Natsuki's combined bloodline limits were Mokuton (Wood Release), Jiton (Magnet Release), and Ranton (Storm Release). His kekkei mōra was Nikuton (Flesh Release). No matter which one the child inherited, the kid's future would be bright. If he inherited all of them, then with proper training, he'd absolutely become a second Natsuki. Six Paths-level would be a lock.
Tenten, though, looked a bit angry and started lecturing her belly. "Baby, how can you kick Dad? Mom's going to be unhappy!"
It was the kind of scene that left you not sure what you were supposed to say.
The baby wasn't even born yet. How could he possibly understand?
And yet, somehow, when Natsuki pressed his ear to Tenten's belly again, the baby didn't kick this time. He became unbelievably well-behaved. Tenten was very satisfied and decided the kid was smart.
Megumi and Sakura watched with envy, but envy was all they could do.
Megumi was fine, really. Things were going well with Tomoya, and she'd probably be getting married before long.
Sakura, on the other hand, wore a miserable expression. She still hadn't won Sasuke's heart, and lately there was a little "stray cat" hanging around him, making Sakura feel like she was in serious danger.
Hanabi might not be that old, but her looks and figure were top-tier. Sakura had zero confidence she could outmatch her.
On top of that, ever since Sasuke had saved Hanabi with a princess carry, Hanabi had gotten clingy. She kept calling him "Sasuke-nii," acting like she was just his little sister… but what she was really thinking, nobody knew.
Before long, Megumi and Sakura finished Tenten's routine checkup and left.
Naturally, the girls' gossip instincts detonated. The story about Natsuki getting kicked out a window by his unborn kid spread like wildfire, and somehow it turned into something everyone in the village knew.
When Natsuki went out to buy groceries so he could cook for Tenten, he started receiving all kinds of curious stares.
And on the road, he ran into a lot of familiar faces.
The three Hokage, just getting off work and heading to Yakiniku Q for drinks, grinned the second they saw him. "Yo! Natsuki, buying groceries? We heard all about it. You got kicked flying by the baby in Tenten's belly. Hahaha! That means the kid's super healthy. He's definitely going to be a genius! Keep it up, kid. While you're young, have a few more!"
Natsuki: …You were just in the office working. How did you learn what happened at the hospital that fast?
Then he ran into the blond father and son.
Naruto looked like he'd been stabbed in the heart by envy. "Natsuki, I heard you got kicked flying by your kid before he's even born! Your kid's amazing! And I still haven't even won Sakura over, and your baby already has genin-level strength! Damn it! I'm so jealous I could die!"
Minato stood beside him, clearly wanting to say something and clearly deciding not to.
As Naruto's dad, Minato paid close attention to this kind of thing. He knew Naruto liked Sakura, he knew Sakura was still hung up on Sasuke, and he also knew Hinata had been quietly in love with Naruto the whole time.
As a father, Minato wanted Naruto to be loved, which made him hope Naruto would notice Hinata's feelings instead of continuing to be Sakura's doormat. But he also couldn't just barge into his son's love life. One wrong move and it could turn into a father-son rift.
Hearing Naruto's words now, Minato's emotions turned into a complicated mess.
Natsuki waved them off. "Good luck with that. I've still got groceries to buy so I can cook for Tenten."
After that, he ran into Neji, Hinata, and Hanabi. Just grocery shopping had turned into meeting half the village, and it was honestly kind of surreal. It felt like people were doing it on purpose.
Neji's expression was serious. "Natsuki, I heard. You got kicked flying by the baby."
Natsuki sighed. "Why does everyone know?"
Hanabi giggled. "Because anything related to Natsuki-nii is the village's hottest gossip, obviously! You and Tenten-onee are Konoha's model hero couple. Of course everyone's watching your baby too. Heehee. A kid who can kick Natsuki-nii flying before he's even born is going to be absurdly strong!"
Neji nodded. "Natsuki, congratulations."
Hinata spoke softly too. "Natsuki-kun… congratulations."
So you three arranged a "chance" encounter with me while I'm buying groceries, just to say that?
…Fine. In a world where the strong rule, a powerful child was the best kind of news. As friends, it made sense they'd come congratulate him.
Natsuki could only accept it, then firmly shoo them along. He still needed to shop. He hadn't even finished buying everything yet.
Then he ran into Shikamaru and Temari on a date, Sai and Ino on a date, Choji and Karui on a date, and then he ran into Guy and Lee on a date…
Wait. Hold on.
Something about that last one felt extremely wrong.
Whatever. He'd run into way too many people either way. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
Finally, Natsuki managed to finish buying groceries and hurried home. He couldn't let Tenten go hungry.
But when he got back, Sasuke was waiting at the front gate.
"Sasuke, what brings you here?" Natsuki opened the gate and let him in, then kept working with his hands busy. "I've got to cook for Tenten. If you've got something to say, just say it."
Sasuke didn't mind. He went straight to it. "I heard too. Your unborn kid kicked you out a window."
Natsuki's mouth twitched. "Yeah. And you're, like, the hundredth person today to say that to me. Everyone found out and came to congratulate me. You too?"
"Congratulating you is part of it. I'm here for something else." Sasuke's tone turned serious. "I want to talk about the Rinnegan and the Rinne Sharingan."
Natsuki paused mid-motion. "Why bring that up all of a sudden?"
Sasuke didn't hide it. "I'm thinking… can I absorb Madara's eyes and become stronger?"
