NTR GACHA-Chapter 112: Better Then Earth

Leo continued flying over the Duskwood Empire. Why attack any monsters he could find along the road. By the time he reached the first town, it was being attacked by a horde of goblins.

’Why do they attack fortified villages? It seems pointless,’ he thought before casting Fireballs and Thunderbolts into the swarm.

Explosions rang out and sent the Goblins flying all over the place just as Leo crashed down in the middle of the monsters. Without a word, he started using California Smash on the monsters, which turned them into meatpaste.

The village defenders started cheering when they saw him deal with the menace that had caused problems for them for the past two weeks. Leo’s punches rang out as the Goblins didn’t know what was happening.

He continued to attack the creatures who started to flee in shock, but thanks to his spells, they were wiped out. By the time he was finished, the ground outside the fortified village while examining his handiwork.

Goblin bodies littered the ground, causing him to speak to the guards on the wall. ’’Take the corpses and sell them in the closest city. The road is empty to the capital. I killed all the monsters on the way here.’’

After speaking, Leo took off again while heading for the northern pass where the Duskwood fortress was being attacked by a wave of monsters. He flew across the snowy expanse and killed dozens of large tiger-like creatures that were waiting in ambush.

He noticed a merchant caravan traveling north with two dozen adventurers, causing Leo to grow curious. Without a word, he followed the traders until they reached some woods, causing him to descend.

Leo landed behind them and started walking while sensing all the surrounding monsters preparing to strike. He didn’t let them move and cast hundreds of Thunderbolts that pierced their bodies.

The adventurers and merchants panicked when dozens of monster corpses dropped from above. Leo chuckled, which caught everyone’s attention. The commander of the caravan stepped forward while speaking. ’’How did you know they were there, young man?’’

’’Sensed them. It happens when you’ve killed hundreds of monsters,’’ he answered while pulling out some ale. ’’They were about to ambush your people, so I stepped in and leveled up, thanks to them.’’

After speaking, the man nodded before introducing himself. ’’I am Richard Holgate, owner of the Holgate Merchant Company. We were going to set up camp. Would you like to join us?’’

Leo looked at the older gentleman and agreed, ’’I’m Leo Anderson, and yes. I was going to look for a place to rest.’’

When Richard heard this, his eyes widened as he muttered, ’’The Duskwood Hero?’’

’Is that what they’re calling me?’ he thought with a chuckle.

’’Yes, the emperor asked me to help the Elven Empire. So here I am clearing the road for the other heroes,’’ Leo explained.

Richard and the surrounding adventurers looked at him in amazement, but he ignored it as the caravan continued moving through the woods. He hovered above while targeting any monsters that got close.

Explosions shook the ground as all kinds of creatures were destroyed, forcing the others to flee back into the trees. While traveling, he checked his status to see how much he had leveled up.

’Oh wow, that’s a boost to everything,’ Leo thought, his glowing blue eyes reflecting his excitement and curiosity.

An hour later, the caravan came to a halt by a serene lake nestled on the far side of the woods. The stillness of the area struck him as unusual, and he took a moment to scan his surroundings, confirming that no monsters appeared to be lurking nearby.

Satisfied, He began setting up his tent next to the lake, which gave him a perfect view. As he worked, Richard approached. The older man had a friendly smile as he spoke. ’’Thank you once again, hero. This is Mathias Blackwater. The leader of the adventurers guarding the caravan.’’

He turned to face the towering armored man, who approached. The stranger’s long grey hair framed a weathered but noble face, his striking yellow eyes glinting. Standing slightly taller than him, the man exuded both strength and a commanding presence.

Extending a gauntleted hand, the man offered a friendly smile. ’’Thank you for helping my people, Hero,’’ he said, his deep voice carrying both gratitude and respect.

Leo nodded in acknowledgment, and together the two men set to work preparing the camp for the caravan. Once everything was in order, he settled down, easing into a comfortable position.

From his pack, he pulled out a Fire Drake Kebab and a flask of Phoenixfire Mead, its golden liquid shimmering faintly in the fading light. As he ate, the breathtaking view of the sun dipping below the horizon amazed him.

’This place is much better than Earth,’ he thought while chewing on some of the delicious meat.

Ten minutes later, Leo yawned before crawling into the tent just as several roars echoed across the grasslands they were camped at just as a dozen howls answered in tandem. He stood up and scanned all around them but saw nothing.

That’s when a nearby guard revealed in a nervous voice, ’’Those are Titans and Dark Ones, they plague the darkness in wintertime.’’

Leo sighed before coming up with a good idea and cast Mana Barrier around the camp so it would protect them at night. The guard smiled when he saw this as he carried on patrolling the area.

’Now to get some rest and continue in the morning,’ he thought while climbing inside just as thunder boomed overhead.

Once inside Leo pulled out some more ale and started drinking some more as he bought some common spins to upgrade his status. He spent 3,200,000 and seconds later, a surge of power flowed through his body.

’This is nice, at least I can drink and relax while camped here,’ he mused.

Soon after that, he fell asleep as the howls and roars echoed across the grassland but thanks to his shield the caravan felt safe. The guards realized the monsters couldn’t break through which put them at ease.

The following morning, Leo woke up and yawned as he stretched his limbs. He looked out of the nearby window and realized a storm had started. ’What the fuck has happened now?’

Leo stepped out of the tent and scanned the camp only to see his shield covered in snow while it blocked out a rainstorm. He quickly noticed the merchants and adventurers were enjoying themselves.

That’s when Richards’s voice sounded from behind him, ’’Your power is something else Hero. It’s like the stories of the Duskwood Founder.’’

’’I get that a lot, especially from the emperor and empress,’’ he replied while stretching.

The older man started laughing before slapping him on the back, ’’If that is true then you should be running the empire. With you in charge, the Demons wouldn’t try anything funny.’’

Leo started chuckling when hearing this before thinking, ’That will come true sooner than you think.’

Following that, Richard went to check on the other merchants as he sat down and started a fire that lit up his surroundings. While sitting there he checked on his status which made him smile as the boost satisfied him.

After checking on his status he watched the storm lashing against his blue barrier as monsters roamed outside. This caught his attention just before he exploded forward and appeared in the center of the creatures.

Seconds later Leo started using California Smash to kill any monsters that got caught in the shockwave. he started attacking the Wild Orcs that tried to attack him but he battered their makeshift weapon to the side.

He quickly countered with a Supernova Punch that killed the monster and a few more behind it.
