'Oops! I Stole the Isekai Lottery'-Chapter 73: Raja and the Vault of Secrets
Chapter 73: Raja and the Vault of Secrets
It was a peaceful weekend at Hogwarts. Birds chirped, students laughed, and for once, Raja wasn't causing utter chaos. Well, not yet.
Instead, for the first time in his entire life, Raja was asking for permission.
Dumbledore nearly dropped his lemon drop when Raja waltzed into his office and said, "Old man, I need permission to visit Gringotts."
The room went dead silent.
The portraits on the wall collectively gasped. Even the Sorting Hat slid off its shelf in shock.
Dumbledore, stroking his beard, stared at Raja as if he had just confessed to being a responsible adult.
"My dear boy," the headmaster finally said, "this is... surprising. Why are you asking for permission?"
Raja, dramatically placing a hand over his heart, sighed. "Old man, I am a Supreme Wizard King now. I must uphold my dignity. I cannot simply break into banks anymore."
Dumbledore's eyes twinkled with amusement. "A noble sentiment, indeed. But why do you wish to visit Gringotts?"
Raja's expression turned serious. "During my previous totally-not-a-heist in Gringotts, I felt a mysterious vault resonate with my magic and blood. I need to investigate."
Dumbledore's amusement disappeared instantly. A vault that reacted to Raja's magic and blood? That could mean only one thing—something ancient and powerful awaited inside.
With a knowing nod, Dumbledore agreed. "Very well, my boy. I shall accompany you. After all, you are still a minor."
Raja felt an ominous chill run down his spine. Dumbledore tagging along meant he'd be monitoring everything.
So naturally, Raja immediately clarified his terms.
"Old man, I swear, even if there's a mountain of gold inside that vault, I will not give you a single Knut."
Dumbledore chuckled. "Understood, my dear Supreme Wizard King."
When Raja and Dumbledore arrived at Gringotts, their presence immediately caused a commotion.
Rita Skeeter, ever the nosy reporter, appeared out of nowhere. "Mr. Raja! Professor Dumbledore! What brings you both to Gringotts today?"
Before Dumbledore could even think of a diplomatic answer, Raja smirked and went full dramatic mode.
"We are investigating the legendary Dark Lord's Payback Heist!"
The goblins perked up immediately.
The infamous bank robbers who had pulled off the most chaotic heist in Gringotts history? Dumbledore and Raja investigating them?
The goblins loved this idea. They quickly offered their full cooperation.
The Head of Gringotts himself guided them through the crime scene.
Raja examined the area with great seriousness. He studied the broken vaults, observed the scorch marks on the floors, and inspected the giant dragon-sized footprints.
Raja played the role of a detective, confidently explaining how the crime occurred, almost as though he were the one who committed it. This impressed the goblins, who believed Raja would certainly catch the "Dark Lord Payback" team.
Then, confidently, he declared, "The thieves did not come for the Death Eater vaults. That was merely a distraction. Their true target was something far deeper within Gringotts."
Gasps echoed through the bank.
The goblins stared in awe.
How did he know?!
Dumbledore, arms crossed, watched Raja with mild exasperation.
"It's almost like you were there," he muttered.

Raja pointedly ignored him.
Instead, he followed the imaginary path of the robbers (which just so happened to be his exact path during the heist).
And just as planned, this route led them straight to the mysterious vault.
When they reached the hidden vault, it resembled the secret vault of the "Padmanabhaswamy Temple". (check the comments for photo)
Before them stood a massive vault door, resembling something like a Door that shows you the Way to the Under World.
The intricate twin dragon carvings on the door shifted as Raja approached.
Then, suddenly—
Raja's magic flared uncontrollably.
The runes on the vault glowed, responding to his presence.
Dumbledore stepped back in shock. The goblins nearly fell over.
Then, without hesitation, Raja reached out and touched the door.
"WAIT—!" Dumbledore shouted.
Too late.
The vault swung open.
Raja, completely ignoring everyone's protests, strolled inside like he owned the place. The door slammed shut behind him.
Inside the Vault
Maya's voice rang in Raja's mind.
"Raja, this vault is ancient... but the treasures inside are even older than the vault itself."
And what a treasure trove it was.
Mountains of gold, jewelry, artifacts, and ancient books lay before him.
But Raja walked right past all of them.
His eyes were locked on a Mysterious Red Door looked like Boss Room of Solo Leveling.
A single inscription was carved into it:
"Drop a drop of blood from the chosen one."
Raja, naturally, did not hesitate.
SLICE.
A single drop of blood hit the door.
The entire room shook. The door glowed brightly before creaking open.
And at the center of the chamber, floating in midair, was an ancient grimoire.
Raja grinned. "Now, this is my kind of treasure."
Raja walked toward the grimoire as if he were a king. But as soon as his foot touched the red carpet, an immense magical pressure bore down on him. For the first time in his reincarnation, Raja felt the weight of someone else's magic.
His ultimate body reacted instinctively, meeting the challenge with extreme adaptability and control. Despite the immense pressure, Raja continued to walk forward, a beast-like grin spreading across his face as he surpassed his limits.
With each step, the pressure intensified, but Raja pressed forward like a beast determined to conquer. As he neared the grimoire, something inside him shifted, and it felt as though invisible shackles that had bound him were suddenly broken.
And then—
The pressure vanished.
Raja blinked. "Maya, what just happened?"
Maya's voice was annoyingly casual.
"Oh, you just evolved from an ultimate human to a demigod. No big deal."
Raja: "...Excuse me?"
Maya added, "Let's look into it further once we leave the vault. For now, let's open the old book. I'm curious about it too."
Raja reached out and touched the grimoire.
The moment his fingers made contact—
A massive bearded old man appeared out of the grimoire.
The old man blinked at Raja, then his eyes widened.
"At long last... my descendant has come to retrieve me! But wait..."
The old man squinted at Raja.
"Child, what race are you? You look like someone from... Jambudvipa!"
Maya: "Oh. This is going to be fun."
And with that, Raja's adventure just got even more ridiculous.
