Chapter 175: Big Sales

"Two hundred and fifty Sovereign-rank resources! Three million Sovereign Essence Coins!"

"Three hundred Sovereign-rank resources and four million Sovereign Essence Coins!"

"Same, but add ten legendary-rank resources. Mr. Sirius, I’ll bring them here at the border of Doom Veil, and you can put them away safely. You can, right?"

The bid for the SS-rank Flag of the Pale Sovereign was going intense, even though he had already sold tons of items previously and earned two thousand eight hundred Sovereign-rank resources, plus twenty-three million Sovereign Essence Coins.

But after he started auctioning the flags, the demons were raring to put even more to acquire them.

Since it was easy to show the power of the flag, they were amazed by the effects they felt themselves.

After all, the flags were going to be immensely helpful in fighting against the frenzied monsters of the calamity!

And essentially, the ten royal demon families were competing, and it wasn’t like they would sacrifice themselves to help another.

The rest of the demons of the continent who were not part of the families also joined the family they liked.

So those who had flags naturally had a higher chance of survival.

After John sold the eight flags, one of the Royal family heads, Zetruin Molgrith of the Molgrith family, asked, "Mr. Sirius, surely you got more flags, right? Please sell us."

"Unfortunately, I don’t have more of those, except for the two that I will use for myself. These flags are from a specific section of the vault, and I cannot pull them out infinitely. I could pull some flags every now and then, not this many at once."

The demon heads were disappointed, but nonetheless, all of them had one thing or another that they bought, either artifacts or some overpowered one-time use items.

"Anyway, I would like to visit the Calamity Region’s heart now." Mr. Sirius faintly smiled. "Let me see how it is."

Sovitra blinked. "Well, you will be fine there, but still, I advise caution. Much like the archipelago center that you know, the heart of the calamity region has much more volatile spiritual dimensional shifts that will take you into random pocket dimensions filled with powerful monsters and resources. And the only way to exit those is by forceful means, which, given your space mastery, should be easy."

Mr. Sirius nodded. "Also, what is your estimated time for the calamity’s arrival?"

"We can’t say for sure, but it should be anywhere after fifteen days and within thirty days."

"I see. Very well. Then I shall prepare accordingly. For now, let me pull out some other items to auction."

The demon heads’ eyes lit up!

"Mr. Sirius, you haven’t sold us those powerful energy drinks. Would you have some of those, please?"

"Indeed. Those are the kind of drinks that can change the state of an individual completely."

John chuckled. "I’ll see if I can pull a crate or two out of the Vault."

He naturally wanted to squeeze as much as possible from the demons, but he wasn’t going to give those energy drinks to anyone.

It wasn’t like he had tons of it. The last barrage of refreshes he did only gave him two crates of 500 energy drinks, so he could sell some, but he wanted to keep most of those for his monster army so they could roll over energy.

After all, he just recently gained a huge monster army of almost two thousand Sovereign-rank Monsters, and if all of them had those energy drinks, they would roll over anyone.

...

John finished the business and earned a whopping five thousand and nine hundred Sovereign-rank resources total after some additional sales, and selling 200 energy drinks.

With that many resources entering Monster Paradise, the production of Molding Essence skyrocketed.

37.7 million Molding Essence per day!

After he was done with the auction, John left as his island vanished.

He used the invincible cloak artifact, as no demons could sense him, and quietly began teleporting towards the heart of the Calamity Region.

Now that he controlled Voidspace instead of just space, his teleportation and other applications completely remained undetected as they worked without affecting the material spatial layer of the world.

After arriving in the heart of the calamity region, John felt a ripple of spiritual disturbance, but he didn’t get away from it.

Instead, he closed it, letting himself get swept away by it.

Shortly, he arrived at a completely different place.

It was a wilderness with huge, exotic trees with considerable gaps between them and various plants with flowers.

Naturally, there were tons of monsters.

John sensed a lot of Silver and Gold-rank Monsters, but he didn’t bother hunting them.

Removing his invisibility cloak, John took out Yuna, Azelis, Jibril, and Max from the Monster Paradise, as well as Starry and her kids, Crocky, Sony, Merc, Cheron, and Ophis.

All of them were at King-rank, but it was time to train and reach peak to break through to Emperor-rank.

John wanted to progress as much as possible without wasting time, but also without cutting back on developing powers and monsters before the calamity comes.

"Yo, this sky looks weird." Max looked up and blinked, surprised.

"We are in a special dimension, so of course, the sky will be different." Azelis smiled. "It looks like another training session is starting."

"Yep." John grinned. "Let’s go."

Alfred, Pymon, Rexion, and Levi were excited to finally fight.

Yuna, Azelis, Jibril, and Max also summoned their Pet Monsters.

Additionally, John summoned a hundred Sovereign-rank Monsters who could fly to scout around and protect everyone in case some other Sovereign-rank Monsters targeted them.

With a gang of a hundred Sovereign-rank Monsters together, the Sovereign-rank Monsters in this special dimension had no chance.

...

Three days passed by, and all other Tamers had arrived in the Undernight Continent.

The Demons had already given them homes to stay and created various training grounds at the border of the calamity region.

The Sovereign-rank Tamers were at the forefront. Emperor-rank Tamers behind them, and so on.

The Demons had also given access to the wilderness areas for the Tamers to train their Monsters and capture new ones if they wished.

They were holding nothing back to fight against the calamity because if they failed, everything would be wiped out.

But a sinister scheme against Mr. Sirius was about to be unveiled by Minera, the holder of the Rune of Everlasting Lust & Gluttony.
