7 A Genius' Admiration

There were a few reasons why Allen chose the <Supreme Hidden Boss> as his title: ƒ𝑟𝙚e𝔀𝗲𝒃n𝒐𝘷𝗲Ɩ.c𝗼𝚖

1. Allen was average and didn't possess any <Supreme> abilities. He was a perfect candidate for becoming a hidden boss since most hidden bosses are mob and supporting characters.

2. Using <Supreme Drama>, <Supreme Actor>, and <Supreme Role-player>, Allen could fool the interviewer by acting as a true hidden boss. The <Supreme Chuunibyou> ability would also be used to make reality believe that he is a true hidden boss which will unconsciously make others believe that he is a true hidden boss while making others have little to no questions to him as to why he is one.

3. Most hidden bosses hide their abilities and identity to act like one so it's the best alibi and identity for Allen. He can then act that he already had numerous <Supreme> abilities and the only reason why he acted as if he was average was to obtain the right to bear the <Supreme Hidden Boss> title.

4. Although Allen won't want to reveal it, he had a great admiration for hidden boss characters in the novels and comics he had read and with the <Supreme Order> ability, he could now become a hidden boss.

Although, it is quite contradictory that a 'hidden' boss would reveal itself to obtain the <Supreme Hidden Boss> title, making him no longer a true hidden boss since he's now out in the open and proclaiming himself as a hidden boss.

But to Allen, that didn't matter. He still considered himself as a hidden boss since even if he reveals he's a hidden boss, he wouldn't reveal his <Supreme> abilities and would only reveal them if he deemed necessary, like how a true hidden boss would do it. Wouldn't that make Allen a hidden ability boss? 𝒇𝗿𝙚ℯ𝑤ℯ𝑏𝒏𝑜ѵe𝙡.c𝐨m

All that matters to Allen was that he had successfully sent a form to apply himself as a student at the Supreme Academy and it was currently being reviewed by the staff of the Supreme Academy.

...

The staff of the Supreme Academy wouldn't just interview anyone who claimed to have a <Supreme> ability since it was a daily occurrence for them to have someone who had delusions that they had an <Supreme> ability when it was either a delusion or only at the genius or prodigy-level and not at supreme-level.

If there weren't any shortage of idiots in the world, then they're also isn't any shortage of delusional humans. And because of that, the staff of the Supreme Academy was paid to filter out the delusional from the real supreme-level talents.

Jones Joemoon, was one of the staff members of the Supreme Academy who had such a job. His intelligence was at genius-level yet he was only a mere staff of the Supreme Academy but he was more than satisfied with his job since he had the honor to serve the Supreme Academy and become part of the ten thousand staff members who would nurture the future leaders of Earth.

To him, even if he was only a mere staff member of the Supreme Academy, it was truly an honor. Amongst all the 10 billion humans, only ten thousand were chosen to become part of the staff of the Supreme Academy and only a genius-level talent or above like him could become part of that ten thousand.

After all, the ten thousand staff members of the Supreme Academy, if they played their cards correctly, might even form a connection with at least a few of the two thousand supreme-level talents that attended the Supreme Academy. Due to that, most of the staff of the Supreme Academy didn't despise their jobs and Jones Joemoon was part of that majority who liked his job. Even Jones' friends envy his job. Who wouldn't?

If one couldn't become a <Supreme>, it wouldn't be a bad option to serve a <Supreme> rather than an irresponsible boss of a third-rate company.

Who would want to become an employee of a third-rate company when the founder of the Supreme Academy was said to possess a supreme-level talent and even the current chairman of the Supreme Academy board of directors is a supreme-level talent who currently possesses the title of <Supreme Chairman>?

As Jones Joemoon was currently praising his job in his mind while browsing the numerous registration forms of students who proclaimed themselves as a supreme-level talent, he found a unique registration form that was displayed on his computer screen and he couldn't help but cringe at the self-proclaimed supreme-level talent's chosen <Supreme> title.

[ Name: Allen Walker

Age: 16

Chosen <Supreme> Title: <Supreme Hidden Boss>

"<Supreme Hidden Boss>? Did he read too many novels and comics?"

Jones Joemoon couldn't help but comment after reading Allen Walker's registration form.

Jones Joemoon wasn't a new staff member of Supreme Academy so Allen Walker's chosen <Supreme> title was already encountered by him countless times before. There were even self-proclaimed <Supreme Protagonist> and <Supreme Supporting Character> that he'd encountered in the past and when he interviewed those self-proclaimed supreme-level talents, yet he had exposed them as nothing but mere fakes.

There were even self-proclaimed supreme-level talents who had chosen the <Supreme Hidden Boss> title but those were rejected since they didn't even possess a supreme-level talent but only prodigy-level talent.

This time, it wasn't as different from before since he also thought of Allen Walker as part of the self-proclaimed supreme-level talents that he had interviewed in the past. If it wasn't for Allen's surname which was Walker, Jones wouldn't even bat an eye toward Allen's registration form.

The surname Walker was well-known amongst the staff of Supreme Academy. After all, Asther Walker was famous for his inventions that'd surpassed the former <Supreme Inventor> which lead to Asther Walker being the current <Supreme Inventor>.

Not only that, Asther Walker's parents were both high-rank staff members of Supreme Academy since both of them are prodigy-level talents. Because Asther Walker and his parents were famous, it also brought the staff of the Supreme Academy's attention to the elder brother of Asther Walker.

The staff of the Supreme Academy knew who Allen Walker was but their attention towards him was that of either disappointment or curiosity. Allen Walker was said to possess the smart-level talent and didn't even reach the level of gifted or genius-level talent or intelligence.

Because of that, the majority of the Supreme Academy's staff were disappointed since they wouldn't have another <Supreme> talent while the minority's curiosity was piqued when they found out that Allen Walker possessed only smart or average-level talent.

The minority of the Supreme Academy's staff all thought that it was unlikely that the offspring of two prodigy-level talents would only have an average-level talent since their second offspring had proven to possess supreme-level talent.

To confirm whether the 'Allen Walker' who sent the registration form was the elder brother of the <Supreme Inventor>, Jones Joemoon moved his mouse and clicked on the [more information] which revealed Allen Walker's birth certificate, background, and other information about him.

'No doubt about it. Allen Walker was the elder brother of Asther Walker, the <Supreme Inventor>.'

Jones' doubts were cleared after confirming that Allen Walker was the real deal. Even if Allen Walker's information was fabricated, it didn't matter as long as it looked real. After all, it also proved that Allen Walker was a candidate for the <Supreme Fabricator> title.

The Supreme Academy already had a <Supreme Thief>, <Supreme Hitman>, <Supreme Assassin>, and <Supreme Mafia> so having a student with the title of <Supreme Fabricator> wasn't unusual in the Supreme Academy.

One of the privileges of the <Supreme> was law immunity. As long as they weren't caught, they wouldn't be held accountable for their crimes. Even the media would be suppressed if a <Supreme> had committed a crime.

"Don't tell me that Allen Walker is a true hidden boss? Then that explains why he was acting as an average-level talent from the day he was born!"

When Jones thought of that possibility, he couldn't help but admire Allen Walker. Just to obtain the <Supreme Hidden Boss> title, Allen acted average and received the scorn of others.

For Jones, Allen Walker was a true <Supreme Hidden Boss>!

With admiration for Allen Walker in his mind, Jones Joemoon reported the registration form of Allen Walker to the higher-ups of the Supreme Academy.
