Reborn as a Devouring Dragon with a System-Chapter 107: Abyssal Devouring Eye
Chapter 107: Abyssal Devouring Eye
And then, in the next instant—
The world fell silent.
The sun lost its brilliance, dimming behind the thunderclouds. Everything went still. As if the world itself had stopped...
Residents across the Originat Continent stood in stunned silence, struggling to comprehend what had just occurred.
Then, dark clouds began to spread across the entire continent.
Moments later, a colossal, unsurmountable aura descended over all life in Originat—
and they saw it:
The Heavens had opened their eye.
In the heart of the Dragon Ruins, every gaze turned upward—
towards the sky where a single, enormous Heavenly Eye now hovered.
It was golden, yet encircled by black and red thunder that coiled and crackled like serpents of judgment.
Drakion felt it, too—the gaze of the Heavens themselves.
The Origin Heavenly Eye locked onto the two fusing eyes in the sky.
Thunder and lightning crashed toward them, intent on obliteration—
but the attacks struck without effect.
No harm.
No damage.
Nothing.
And that’s when tension rose—not among mortals, but within the Heavens.
Yes, all could feel it—
the Heavens were growing tense.
Despite unleashing divine force, they couldn’t stop the eyes from merging.
Above, a gigantic closed eye hovered, suspended in the sky.
Drakion’s own eyes had grown empty—void of light—
yet he could still see.
And then the Heavenly Eye reacted.
When it realized the fusion was complete—
it fled.
Yes, the Heaven ran.
The clouds vanished in an instant, and with them, every hint of divine presence.
The outside world was left dazed and confused, wondering what had caused the Heavens to descend so abruptly—only to disappear in less than a second.
The onlookers—those who had seen it—stood dumbfounded.
They couldn’t believe what their eyes had witnessed:
the Heavens had fled.
And not just fled— they had erased all trace of their coming.
Drakion saw it too, clear as day.
And now, all eyes turned toward the thing that had struck fear into the very heart of the Heavens.
The fused eyes.
Ding!
[You have only one minute left.]
Though Drakion heard the system’s warning, his thoughts were no longer his own.
They moved on instinct—his mind communing with the closed eye above.
"Abyssal Devouring Eye, open."
BAM! BAM! BAM!
The hearts of all who witnessed it began to beat wildly—louder and louder—as if they would burst from their chests.
People clutched their bodies in pain, eyes wide with horror.
And the eye had only opened one percent.
Yet already—chaos erupted.
The entire Origin Continent began to tremble violently.
Everything scattered.
"What’s happening?!"
"Is this... Doomsday?!"
All across the continent, the people were shaken—not just in body, but in spirit.
It was as though the world itself were splitting apart.
As for Drakion,he felt his very Originat being devoured at a frenzied rate—and the eye had barely opened.
The Dragon Eater stood frozen, its body locked in place—and from its forehead, its third eye exploded into a mist of blood.
For the first time—the Dragon Eater was bleeding.
"Impossible!"The Dragon Eater roared in disbelief, unable to comprehend the devastation overtaking it.
Ding!
[From now on, Host lifeforce will be used to open the Abyssal Devouring Eye]
When Drakion saw the notification, his heart dropped—he was no longer in control. Things were spiraling out of hand.
Suddenly, he felt something vital being extracted from within him, flowing toward the eye like a stream of essence beyond his command.
The next moment, the eye began to open slowly—yet with every inch it opened, chaos spread further.
2%...
3%...
4%...
The eye opened to 5%, and in that instant—everything changed.
The Origin Continent was overturned.
The sun plummeted, casting eerie twilight upon the land. Lava surged, bursting from the depths as beasts stampeded from the Bestial Forest, running for their lives in primal terror. The Emperors of the Origin Continent found themselves reduced to mere mortals—their hearts pounding, their spirits trembling.
And they were not alone.
Every cultivator in the world felt their cultivation unravel. Their power—shattered. Their pride—stripped. All that remained was the frailty of flesh and fear.
The seas raged, the oceans overturned, and deep-sea creatures fled toward the surface in a mad panic, as if doomsday had descended upon the world.
In the Dragon Ruins, it was far worse.
Those present felt their very blood quaking, their bones splintering, as if crushed by an unseen, omnipotent force. They crawled on the ground, gasping, sobbing, unable to lift their heads. Some had already lost consciousness, unable to bear the pressure.
And as for the Dragon Eater—it was facing its worst nightmare.
Its entire form convulsed in agony, its flesh decomposing, unraveling at a molecular level—bit by bit, piece by piece.
"Impossible! How can this be happening!?" the Dragon Eater roared, its voice twisted with horror and disbelief.
But it was too late.
Even it didn’t understand how or why it was being undone. Within seconds, it disintegrated into nothingness—not even dust remained.
It was as if the eye had known its task was complete. Slowly, it closed, its presence vanishing, as though it had never existed.
Ding!
[The time for accessing the Progenitor Dragon Bloodline and Devouring Soul has ended.]
In the next moment, Drakion collapsed, falling from the sky—unconscious.

"So... this is the world you can enter, but never leave."
A voice, deep and unfamiliar, echoed through the void.
An unknown being, with golden and black hair, stood on the edge of the world, gazing at the ruined Origin Continent. Then, without hesitation, he stepped in—fearless and calm.
"Fuck Aurithon... and that Dragon Emperor," a small, serpentine creature hissed, slithering through the atmosphere like a shadow.
It was the Dragon Eater—or what was left of it.
If it hadn’t separated a part of its soul before the eye opened, it would have perished completely. But even now, thinking of the eye, a chill of fear coursed through its being.
"A Dragon Eater."
A voice caught it—piercing and absolute.
The creature froze. It had been caught, effortlessly.
When it turned, it saw him.
The being was male—or so his voice suggested. His left hair shimmered gold, while the right side gleamed black. But it was his eyes that shattered all reason.
The left eye burned reddish gold, a swirling universe of creation and birth reflected within. The right eye, bluish black, was an abyss—one that showed only endings and the destruction of all things.
"Impossible..." the Dragon Eater whispered, trembling.
Before it could speak another word, the unknown being chuckled, raising a single finger—
And crushed it into dust.
The Dragon Eater was erased—completely annihilated from the world.
