"How pathetic! If that is the extent of your abilities, then perhaps I don’t even need to step up... Sofia and the rest, you’re going against that thing," Lucifer said, crossing his arms and glaring at us instead of even glancing at the Nightmare Demon.

"Oi are you ignoring me you piece of shit?!" The Nightmare Demon complained, firing several more powerful attacks with his miasma against us.

However, Lucifer easily destroyed them with his barrier of Abyssal Death Flames, the Nightmare Miasma this monster wielded was of no problem against his fire.

"E-Eh? And since when are you the boss, Lucifer?" Sofia asked angrily and still in awe of his strength. "W-Wait are you really planning on not killing it?! Your power... with it you could easily get that job done!"

"I said you’re the one doing it, this is a perfect opportunity to train you all," said Lucifer. "Go out there and slay a Nightmare Demon, it’s not that hard."

"He used to be just a punk, why is he so strong now?" Emily wondered. "And not that hard?! Are you insane? They’re Nightmare Demons for a reason, the strongest monsters out there!"

"Don’t concentrate on such things!" I said. "He’s right, it would be a nice training if you girls kill this guy. Let’s do that! I mean, I am not going to help too much either, but I’ll guide you."

Yeah I’ll "guide" them for now, even though I might just not do anything at all. Also, if my theory is correct, their Dream Weapons need to absorb Nightmare or Dream Energy by killing Nightmare Demons to evolve!

Yeah, I should use it later to combine a few more Skills I think... Probably upgrade it to Tier 3, because I’m all out of Skill Fusion Tickets right now.

I have a few Skill Evolution Items though, and also some other Privilege Items as well, and I think I might be able to modify this Skill Fusion Forge to also do Skill Evolution or something, and perhaps also something similar for Privileges.

But anyway, let’s make that a reality anyway.

As I heard the girls discussing for a bit, I felt my Soul opening up like a big book itself.

Indeed, this was the effect of my System upon my "Soul Book" which was the actual name of the Status everyone had.

This Soul Book evolved into a Soul Grimoire within me thanks to my System Unique Skill, which was imbued into the Grimoire itself.

However, that didn’t mean I just summoned some sort of floating book all the time, no, unless I was creating a powerful Undead with specific ingredients.

The Soul Grimoire is more of an Evolution of a normal Status, and something that not even other powerful Players in the Tower and its many worlds possess.

Nonetheless, this new ability, let me see...

First of all it doesn’t have a Rank! So that’s nice, I won’t have to upgrade it and waste away even more points but... there is something worrying about it.
