"Alright, before we advance any further, Nyx, Lucifer, let me evolve your Dream Weapons," I said. "So we can see their new effects or abilities in the process. I am quite curious about what they could become. I also did promise you two to do that."

"Oh right, yeah!" Nyx ran to my side, she had become distracted butchering one of the dinosaurs we met along the way, a ten-meter-tall triceratops-looking creature.

"You don’t need to do this if it costs too many resources, Maria," Lucifer said, walking to my side.

"Nah it’s fine!" I said. "Alright Nyx, let me see... Is your Axe your Dream Weapon, or your dress, or both?"

"I think it’s only my axe!" She said, summoning it out of thin air and giving it to me. "I even gained the power to summon it and put it back inside my Dream Heart, which is really convenient!"

"I see... Let’s start right away then, dear," I patted her head and then touched her axe, which was a beautifully decorated, giant black axe I had made for her, named "Chaos", a dramatic name, but I didn’t choose it, it just automatically was assigned.

All the materials suddenly manifested out of my inventory, as I saw how Nyx’s axe floated in midair, absorbing them rapidly and growing larger and stronger.

The shape of the black axe suddenly became longer, and more intimidating, it even gained a dragon head-shaped decoration made of black steel on top of the axe itself.

Aside from that, there were dragon claws made of the same metal too, around the handle, and it was now embedded with black, blue, and red jewels.

It seemed like a complete upgrade, and one in a totally different light and power than merely reforging a normal magic weapon!

"It’s done?! It’s done!"

Nyx was amazed, grabbing her axe and feelings its Dream Essence from within, her Aura converged with it, as her Dream Heart seemed to resonate with the upgraded Dream Weapon, giving her more power as a result.

"Indeed, it’s done! Do you like your new upgraded axe?"

"Yes I love it! It is so strong!"

Heheh, I was very happy to hear her say that...

Now imagining three more kids... Ah, things are going to get really fun!

But also tiring...

It is called "Chaos II" now? Well, that’s a bit funny if not unoriginal... But I’ll let that slide, I suppose if they were named, these Dream Weapons MUST upgrade their name no matter what, right?

That’s a strange rule, and I wonder why that is the case...

Well, whatever, she got two new abilities instead of one, probably thanks to my new Authority and perhaps the larger required materials... And also her Dream Weapon already being a very strong Weapon I forged before.

"Can you see the new abilities, Nyx? One is called [Nightmare Dragon Domain] and the other is [Spectral Dragon Catastrophe]!" I said.

"Oh wow, really?!" Nyx was surprised. "Hmm, yeah! I can kind of "feel" the new abilities! It’s weird right? But I guess that’s how we’re connected to the Dream Weapons... I usually don’t use my axe as much, but I’ll use it more now!"

She usually prefers to just fight using her draconic form, and I can’t blame her, sometimes its just easier to become a giant monster and rampage and destroy everything on your path with sheer physical and barbaric might.

However, the new weapon upgrade might have given her enough motivation to use the axe in many other ways than just as a little toy or decoration.

"Oh wow, so even normal weapons that turned into Dream Weapons in this world can continue getting stronger?" Partner wondered. "I want mine upgraded next! My two spears!"

"I-I wouldn’t mind getting my bow upgraded even further... Heheh," Emeraldine also wanted to.

"Come on, aren’t you asking a bit too much out of my sister?" Arthur tried to convince them otherwise.

"Nah, it’s fine Arthur, I’ll upgrade their weapons, as long as they have accumulated enough dream power though," I said. "For now, Lucifer, give me your... "weapon". Uh, let’s try at least."

"Yeah, it’s a bit weird..."

He walked to my side and quickly offered me his, well, his Abyssal Death Flames, which quickly took the shape of a scythe using his Skill.

And then, I touched such flames.
