Reborn as Mr.CEO's Fat Wife-Chapter 395 - Thirty-Six Strategies of the Wolf-like
Chapter 395: Chapter 395: Thirty-Six Strategies of the Wolf-like CEO to Chase His Wife Chapter 395 -395: Thirty-Six Strategies of the Wolf-like CEO to Chase His Wife Piers’ Mansion.
At last, without any interruptions, Abigail and Brandon Piers smoothly returned to the Piers’ Mansion.
As they passed the guardhouse, the security team leader approached them, “Second Young Master, you have a package. It’s already been delivered to the main house.”
Brandon was puzzled, “A package?”
“Yes.” The well-trained security guard answered respectfully.
“Did you check it?” Brandon nodded, wondering who would send him something.
“It’s already scanned and identified as books, no danger.” The security team leader replied.
Brandon nodded, feeling even more puzzled. Who would send him books?
Abigail looked at Brandon in confusion, “Is there a problem?”
“Let’s go back and see.” Brandon didn’t know what it could be either.
Meanwhile, Pullan, trying to avoid being a third wheel, went with Peter to park the car, unaware of what had transpired.
The two of them walked back to the main house, where Elder Piers, Kelly, and Aunt Claudia were in the yard.
Since he learned to turn over, little Teddy had become increasingly restless, refusing to stay in the room and even began showing signs of crawling. So, when there was nothing to do, they would leave him on a soft blanket in the yard to let him play freely.
Abigail hadn’t seen her little one all morning. The moment she saw Teddy, she hurried over. Little Teddy was also very excited to see his mom, trying to crawl but failing, making anxious sounds. Abigail laughed and picked up the impatient little guy, “Teddy, did you miss mommy?”
“Ah ah ah…” Teddy responded with sounds of “ah ah ah.”
This was a sound he had just recently learned to make; instead of oohs and ahs, he now responded to everything with “ah ah.”
Abigail found it amusing and mimicked her little guy.
The little guy responded with, “Ah.”
The mother and son chatted like this for a while.
Brandon watched them and shook his head, “Are you guys having a chicken and duck talk?”
Abigail shot a discontented glance at him and continued to tease Teddy.
At this moment, Elder Piers pointed at a package not far away, “Brandon, why are you still shopping online? What did you buy?”
Then Brandon recalled what the security team had mentioned earlier and frowned at the package, “I didn’t buy this.”
“How could it be addressed to you and sent here if you didn’t buy it?” Elder Piers looked puzzled.
“Maybe someone sent it to me,” Brandon couldn’t think of who had recently said they would send him a package.
Elder Piers heard this, “Then open it up and see. The Security Department said it’s books, but who would send you books? It’s strange.”
Brandon didn’t think much about it and nodded, “Let’s open it.”
“Judy, go get the scissors.” Elder Piers, at his age, had never experienced the joy of opening a package, so he was very enthusiastic.
Kelly hurried into the house to get scissors.
On the way, she met Peter and Pullan. Kelly greeted Pullan and then shyly looked at her husband, “Why are you here?”
“I don’t need to go out today. I came to see you. Are you going home later? I’ll cook something good for you,” Peter spoke without the seriousness he had in front of Brandon and Abigail, and there was a childlike eagerness in his voice when asking if Kelly would go home at night.
“I’ll let the young mistress know later,” Kelly nodded.
Peter’s face, not considered handsome but filled with manly charm, lit up with joy, “Then I’ll wait for you at home.”
“You go back first. I have to take the scissors to Elder Piers,” Kelly glared at Peter.

Peter glanced at Pullan.
Finally realizing his presence as a third wheel, Pullan took a few steps back.
Peter was satisfied and took the chance to give Kelly a hug.
Kelly was startled and quickly pushed him away.
Nevertheless, Peter was content and asked with a smile, “What does Elder Piers need scissors for?”
“To open a package. I really have to go now.” With that, Kelly pushed him away again and hurried towards Imperial Garden.
Peter looked at his wife’s departing figure, feeling a bit reluctant. At this moment, Pullan walked up and slapped Peter on the shoulder, “Seeing each other every day, and still so clingy?”
“You don’t understand,” Peter retorted to Pullan.
Pullan was annoyed; he understood a lot, okay?
Thinking of this, Pullan suddenly remembered Kelly’s words, “What package is Elder Piers opening?”
“This is none of our business.” Coming to matters inside the mansion, Peter maintained a serious attitude.
Pullan nodded in agreement, but just halfway through, something clicked in his mind—a package?
If he remembered correctly, the book he bought for the Second Young Master should have arrived, and the package Elder Piers was opening should be the theoretical book he bought for the Second Young Master, right?
Thinking of this, Pullan suddenly dropped Peter and ran.
Peter was bewildered, what was wrong with this guy now?
By this time, Elder Piers had already picked up the scissors and happily started opening the package. Abigail, holding Teddy, continued to tease him while Brandon, unbothered, watched Abigail play with Teddy, occasionally teasing his son.
Aunt Claudia and Kelly looked at the three of them, shaking their heads. The scene was unusually harmonious.
At this moment, Pullan rushed in, “Elder Piers, you can’t open that!”
Pullan’s loud voice instantly drew everyone’s attention to the package.
Elder Piers, startled, froze with a nervous expression, “Is there a bomb inside?”
If it was, then this old man was doomed today.
Upon hearing this, Abigail instinctively hugged Teddy tightly, her eyes wary of the package in Elder Piers’ hands.
Kelly, Aunt Claudia, and the other servants were scared, their nerves tense and slightly trembling.
Brandon frowned and looked at Pullan, “What’s going on?”
“I…” Pullan was nervous, “It’s not a bomb, but you still can’t open it.”
“Is it very dangerous?” Elder Piers slightly relaxed upon hearing it wasn’t a bomb.
Pullan shook his head.
Seeing this, everyone sighed in relief.
However, Pullan’s nerves were still taut, “This…really can’t be opened.”
“Since it’s not a bomb and not dangerous, why can’t it be opened?” Elder Piers’ curiosity was thoroughly piqued now. Without another word, he cut the last side and opened the package, spilling out several books.
Pullan clutched at his face in despair.
The others, initially uninterested in the package, were now curious due to Pullan’s fuss, and looked at the contents of the package.
They saw a bunch of eccentric books “How to Make the Person You Love Fall in Love with You,” “How to Find Your Partner,” “Super Love Hypnosis,” “My Lovely Wife Loves Me Every Day,” and “The Wolflike CEO’s Thirty-Six Strategies for Pursuing a Wife.”
The last one was a gift from the seller.
Elder Piers, “…”
Everyone else, “…”
After a while, everyone looked at Brandon with indescribable expressions.
Brandon was furious. These weren’t even bought by him!
Abigail stared blankly for a moment before suddenly bursting into laughter.
Brandon was even more annoyed, glaring sharply at Pullan, and then at Abigail, “These have nothing to do with me.”
“Mmhmm.” Abigail looked at the nearly furious man and hummed in acknowledgement twice.
Brandon was enraged. He would have preferred no answer at all.
Pullan, desperate to save himself, “This really has nothing to do with the Second Young Master. I bought these for him without his knowledge.”
Brandon, “…” This explanation was worse than no explanation at all!
Seeing this, Pullan helplessly looked at Brandon, “Second Young Master…”
“Get out!”
Pullan felt wronged, he had explained, yet the Second Young Master was so fierce.
