Reborn for Revenge: Find her Fated Alpha-Chapter 145: A way for three of them?
"What were you doing here?" Amelia asked as soon as she saw Kyle moving around the corner.
The man looked at her briefly and then remembered the pain in his heart when he saw the mark on Cyrus’s neck while his neck was still bare of any mark, and just looked away.
Something was wrong.
Amelia could feel it in her bones.
Though she was clear she loved Cyrus from the bottom of her heart, she just couldn’t ignore Kyle either.
His ignorance was squeezing her heart painfully.
She rushed forward and held his hand.
"I am talking to you," She furrowed her brows.
Kyle looked at her briefly and yanked his hand free from her grip, walking to the secluded part of the hospital as the girl followed him.
"I was here to meet your husband and warn him against future attacks on him," Kyle said.
His words made Amelia’s pupils dilate.
She quickly stood before him and grabbed his hands in hers.
"What future attack? Who is going to hurt him? When is it happening? How do you know all this?"
The urgency in her eyes hurt Kyle.
He kept looking at her, observing the concern on her face for Cyrus, and felt jealousy coursing in his veins once again.
"You know, I get hurt, too. Though I am a rogue head and am well-reputed, I get attacked, too." Kyle removed her hands from his hands and cornered her against the pillar.
His amber eyes glowed, full of emotions, as he looked down at the girl whom he wanted to scream at and ask why she wouldn’t look at him.
Even if she was devoted to Cyrus, he was her mate, and it was probably taking her entire control and patience to keep herself away from him. Neglecting the mate bond and the fact that she was doing this, all for Cyrus, made him even madder.
"Just like Cyrus, I am alone, but he has something that I don’t. He has my mate as his wife, and the person who should worry about me is worrying about another man right before me. Do you not think about my peace at all?" Kyle’s words made Amelia look down at her feet in shame.
She knew he was right.
If Cyrus hadn’t saved her in the last life and she wasn’t indebted to him for life, she probably would have chosen Kyle over him.
If she had met Kyle earlier than Cyrus, she might have chosen him. However, it was all because she loved Cyrus so much that she got married against her will, and she was willing to overlook the fated bond in favor of this marriage.
And in all this, Kyle was an innocent man who suffered greatly because of her.
If only there were a way for her to stop hurting these men who were doing so much for her.
"I am sorry," She said.
Her gaze held deep remorse and genuineness as she looked at Kyle.
"I know I am probably the worst mate anyone can get. A loving and caring man like yourself doesn’t deserve someone like me. Why don’t you reject this mate bond?" Amelia started speaking, but the man before her growled at her before she could complete that sentence.
Without a warning, Kyle pushed her further into the wall and then dipped his head, capturing her lips in a heated, passionate, angry kiss.
Amelia’s eyes widened at the sudden attack, and she placed her hands on his chest.
She wanted to push him away, but the mate bond snapped in, and her legs went jelly at his mercy.
Kyle snuck his hand around her waist and pulled her closer, closing his eyes and deepening the kiss. After all, it wasn’t always that he felt gutsy enough to cross this boundary and do what he wanted to.
Hearing her heavy breathing as a soft moan escaped her mouth, her fists clenching around his shirt, he knew he needed to stop before he did something that she would hate him for, like marking her.
"The next time you mention anything about rejection, I will tear your clothes and take you forcefully against your will, mark you and steal you away from your husband before running and hiding you with me," Kyle threatened Amelia after pulling away.
Amelia breathed heavily, tears brimming at the corner of her eyes as she looked at Kyle with a wronged expression.
"You are threatening to rape me," She said.
Kyle chuckled darkly at his words. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"I am a rogue head. What do you expect from a man like me? I am not a king. I don’t have any righteousness. Isn’t that the reason why you won’t choose me?" He asked.
Amelia didn’t say anything for some time. She could see right through his cold facade.
"I believe you would never hurt me. If Cyrus is not here, the only person I can trust is you. My heart belongs to Cyrus because he is my husband, but if given a chance, I want both of you equally, no favourites," Amelia said.
As soon as the words left her mouth, her pupils dilated. The realization dawned upon her.
She indirectly gave him a green signal for what he had been waiting for, her acceptance of the mate bond.
And judging from the returning spark in Kyle’s eyes, she knew he was aiming for that too.
"You are a very manipulative man, Kyle," Amelia gritted her teeth.
The man chuckled.
"Well, you have to give me that. It’s not easy to stay around and be in power without this manipulation talent," Kyle grinned.
He cupped Amelia’s cheeks before smiling at her.
"Don’t worry, sweetheart. There has to be a way for us," He said before his expression turned serious.
Regarding Cyrus’s mother, I think she is alive, and the only person who can help us is Dominic. He knows something. I have warned Cyrus about it. I will look into it too. Just stay safe and wary of that man," Kyle bent, kissed her forehead, and left before she could say anything.
Amelia looked at the window from which the man jumped and sighed.
She looked at the bag in her hands, which contained Cyrus’s clothes, and sighed.
A way for them? All three of them? Was there really any?
She shook her head at the weird thought.
