Challenged at her own door, Qin Mei was not one to back down. She stepped out from behind Jie Jingchen to stand beside him, watching Liu Guihua with complete composure.

When he got a clear look at Qin Mei’s face, Xu Chunwang’s eyes lit up. He stroked his chin, openly lusting after her. "Jie Jingchen, your wife is a real looker. I like her."

Xu Chunyan knew perfectly well that her brother had taken a fancy to Qin Mei. She didn’t say anything to stop him. As long as he didn’t physically attack Jie Jingchen, she had no problem with him using insulting and provocative words to get under Jie Jingchen’s skin.

Jie Jingchen’s chest rose and fell slightly. His expression hardened, and a cold glint flashed in his dark eyes. His hands slowly clenched into fists, and a chilling, terrifying aura emanated from him.

Qin Mei reached out and placed her hand in Jie Jingchen’s palm. He froze for a second before his large hand closed around her small one. He glanced down and saw her give him a smile. Her smile had a healing quality; his tense body relaxed slightly, and his expression softened.

"Jie Jingchen, I like this wife of yours. Lend her to me for a few days," Xu Chunwang said with a lecherous grin. This wasn’t just a deliberate provocation; he meant every word.

’Such a delicate little beauty. Who wouldn’t be tempted after seeing her?’

Jie Jingchen’s eyes narrowed, his expression turning glacial as a terrifying, hostile aura exploded from him. "Scram."

"Hmph!" Xu Chunyan snorted, her eyes filled with contempt. "Shameless."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk." Liu Guihua also looked disgusted. She despised such indecent behavior. Even if her own son was the beneficiary, she still looked down on a loose woman.

Jie Jingchen hesitated for a few seconds before his grip loosened. Just before pulling her hand away, Qin Mei lightly scratched his palm.

Qin Mei brushed back a strand of hair, her movements as bewitching as a siren’s. She began walking toward Xu Chunwang with a seductive sway in her hips.

Xu Chunwang’s breath hitched. Watching Qin Mei approach, he was practically drooling. ’She’s seducing me,’ he thought. ’She’s definitely seducing me. Just how long has this little beauty been starved for attention?’

Xu Chunyan rolled her eyes. Suddenly, she was filled with regret. ’I shouldn’t have brought Mom and my brother to the Jie Family during the day,’ she thought. ’I should have waited until everyone was home from work.
