Bzzz!

With a press of the gray apple tattoo on his wrist, Legolas saw himself back in the gray world. On coming back, the first thing that he did was to summon his throne even as he sat down and took on his persona as the Hermit.

On the throne, he placed his hand to his chin in thought.

'What are my criteria?'

'I obviously can't take any individual that I see'.

While he thought, Aaron already quietly arrived beside him.

'First, I think the individual must be as competent as John'.

'For planets outside a backwater star system like the Roronoa Star System, the Grade D realm is the minimum realm requirement to travel the stars'.

'Any lesser super are stuck in their planet with the petty squabbles'.

'My first criteria is that my candidate must be a Grade D super, I don't think getting a Grade C super is viable yet at my level'. 𝑓𝑟eℯ𝒘𝗲𝑏n𝑜𝚟𝙚𝒍.𝒄o𝐦

'Next criteria, I'll prefer a super outside of the 3 established ones in Planet Darvis. I already have more than enough Pugilist, Elementalist, and Summoner subordinates, I need allies from the other main classes'.

'These 2 are enough as a baseline'.

'I'll improvise as I go'.

As soon as Legolas pulled himself out from the thoughts inside his mind, he finally noticed Aaron's presence as a smile came over his face.

"So, are you ready?" The old Elementalist asked.

"Kinda". Legolas' smile widened as his pointed stare at Aaron suddenly changed, he leaned closer. "Aaron, what do you think?"

"I want to know your opinion; what beast do you think I should get next?"

"…"

The old Elementalist seemed to have been caught off-guard by the question as he paused for a good minute, the next moment he chuckled. "If my brain is not failing me, this is the first time you're actively asking for my opinion on a subject".

"Nothing emotional about it, just answer me". Legolas laughed.

"I think if you get access to one, contracting a mythical beast like Frigga is good". The Elementalist' eyes gleamed. "Frigga is still limited now but once he fully recovers his Grade B power, he'll be unstoppable".

"I have fought mythical monsters once, I know how horrible they are".

Legolas smiled but he also scowled. "Getting a mythical beast would be awesome but that's the problem, getting them".

"Frigga was a stroke of luck; I doubt I'll be so lucky again".

"Getting mythical beasts is rarer than winning the jackpot lottery".

With that, Legolas got prepared to do the thing but before he did it, he paused as something attracted his attention. He turned his head to the side of the gray world where the energetic battleship-grade energy reactor rested.

Legolas kept it in this makeshift junkyard since he didn't have an immediate use for it. "I have a lot of options, either using it to power a spaceship myself or even selling it through John. Either way, I'll benefit".

"I don't need to make either options yet though, I have no imminent need for it yet. I have a feeling that I'll have a need for it in the future".

With that, Legolas no longer hesitated, he projected his consciousness through the gray world into the pulsing gray mist ball as instantly, his consciousness was sucked into the world at the other side of the ball.

Bzzz!

Gugugu!

The unsettling sound spooked Legolas as for a moment, it reverberated like the sound of gunshots. It was on finally calming down that he noticed the unlikely source of this sound, it was a…

Gugugu!

The chubby middle-aged drunkard grabbed another bottle of beer and without caring about his surroundings, he downed everything at a go.

It was the sound of the beer going down his throat that made the loud guggling and shooting sounds like Legolas just arrived at a chaotic battlefield.

"…"

Legolas was short for words to say. 'This guy is the candidate?'

'Gray world if you can understand, tell me you're lying'.

The next moment, the chubby man stood up and staggered towards one of the stripper ladies. Without a care of the world about his surroundings, his massive hand smacked against the lady's bum.

Wack!

"Hehehe…" He grinned.

"How'd you feel about riding a Dragon tonight?"

Shockingly, the lady was not repulsed by his actions, she turned towards him with a bright smile that could almost be believed to be genuine and stretched her hands out like she was demanding a tribute.

"Hehe…" He grinned even more as he accessed his trouser pockets.

The next moment, he brought out all his remaining money and slammed it against her huge breasts. "Here, enough?"

Her smile widened. "And what do I call you, vigorous sir?"

"Hehe…, call me the Pugilist rider with unmatched endurance".

"I'll ride you silly tonight, hahaha!" He laughed loudly.

"Hihihi!" She giggled innocently even as she pocketed the money.

The next moment, with his massive hand on her ass, they both sauntered towards one of the many rooms that were inside this advanced bar.

"…" A certain spectator was frozen in speechlessness.

It was when he started hearing crazy sounds that Legolas jerked to life.

"F*ck! Take me out of here!"

Bzzz!

On returning to the gray world, Legolas felt extremely repulsed by what he saw. As a 40 year old on back on earth, he had seen a lot of things but even with his experience, what he saw still ticked him off in an annoying way.

'Is this because I've been living in a kid's body for so long?' He was baffled by his reaction but this didn't stop him from scowling.

"Damn, my luck is bad".

Aaron chuckled. "I didn't expect it to go so smoothly either".

"Try again, perhaps you'll be lucky this time".

Legolas took his time to fight his irritation, but he didn't give up yet, as Aaron suggested, he tried it one last time for today.

His consciousness disappeared as soon as it touched the gray mist ball.

Bzzz!

As soon as Legolas' consciousness regained perception of his surroundings, the first thing that attracted his attention was the loud music blasting from the speakers as rowdy supers danced to the tune in this bar.

'Another bar?' Legolas instantly scowled.

He was about to conclude that today was not his day when a certain serious conversation at a corner of this bar suddenly attracted his attention.

"Edgar, don't give up on me yet".

"We stand a very big chance of subduing this monster". At the end of his sentence, this blonde-haired warrior hissed to muffle the 'monster' part.

"The best hunters are the ones literally banding together for this hunt".

"I can't give you details until you join us but know this, I won't lie to you, the best in the business are in. All we need is a powerful Psychic like you to calm the excesses of the monster since we intend to capture it alive".

Thud!

The black-haired man who seemed to be Edgar dropped his beer cup, he turned to look at the blonde-haired man. "Sorry Edge".

"It's too dangerous".

"Since when did you become such a coward?!" The blonde-haired man was losing it, he seemed about to unleash his wrath the next moment.

The black-haired man was unfazed, his eyes turned sharp the next moment as he looked at Edge. "This monster is not your regular monster".

"You may have never met one before but I have".

His expression turned slightly ugly as he seemed to remember something. "Edge, take this as advice from a hunter friend, do not take part in this hunt, you won't live to enjoy the benefits".

Edge scowled. "Are you saying I'm weak?"

Edgar shrugged. "Take it anyway you want, all I'm saying is…" He turned to look away. "A Warpsnare is not something you lot can confront".

"…!"

Legolas' ears literally turned erect like antennas.

"A Warpsnare?!"
