Rebuilding the Immortal Cultivator Clan-Chapter 192 - 198: Exploration
However, before Li Zhirui could come to a conclusion, Bo Li suddenly sent a message saying there was a very important matter to discuss with everyone.
Li Zhirui arrived at his cave dwelling on time, where the others had already gathered; he was the last to arrive.
"Since everyone is here, I won’t keep you in the dark any longer."
Bo Li activated the Formation with a careful movement of his hand and said, "As I’m sure you’ve all guessed, I am not a Loose Cultivator."
"I come from a Golden Core family to the north. The reason I came here is to search for a Secret Realm that I don’t know if has been opened!"
Upon hearing this, everyone was momentarily stunned. They had been mentally prepared for the former revelation, having guessed that Bo Li came from an extraordinary background, so they were not overly surprised.
But when he disclosed his true purpose of searching for the Secret Realm, everyone, including Li Zhirui, couldn’t remain calm.
"Taoist friend, are you serious? Is there really a Secret Realm on the battlefield?" someone asked eagerly.
Bo Li nodded, "This Secret Realm was discovered by an ancestor of my family. When he saw it, it coincided with the phenomenon of the Secret Realm concealing itself."
"He couldn’t enter it. After returning to the family, he recorded this event, hoping that we, the later generations, would have the opportunity to enter this Secret Realm."
"My goal is to ascertain the exact location of this Secret Realm and to investigate whether there is a chance it will appear."
The crowd felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured over them, and they quickly cooled down, "But what does this have to do with us?" This question voiced the thoughts of the majority.
They had been so excited before because they thought that if the Secret Realm opened, they too would have a chance to partake in its treasures.
But the reality was different; even Bo Li didn’t know when the Secret Realm would open, nor even if it could open at all.
"Of course, after I have finished my investigation, I will leave this place and return to my family. Before then, I will give away the gains I have accumulated over the past couple of years to those who have helped me," Bo Li continued.
It should be noted that Bo Li’s collection over this period was not less than what one might gain from entering a Secret Realm once.
"Taoist friend, where exactly is the Secret Realm located?" Li Zhirui suddenly asked.
He had a hunch that the location of the Secret Realm might not be a pleasant place.
"Near the Demon Cultivator Immortal City." Of course, the exact location could not be divulged.
As expected!
If the location of the Secret Realm had been safe, Bo Li would not have needed their help—he could’ve just gone and checked it out himself.
"I wonder if there are any Taoist friends who would like to join me in searching for the Secret Realm?" Bo Li asked everyone.
"I am willing!" Out of trust for Bo Li, several cultivators immediately nodded in agreement, ready to accompany him on the journey.
After considering the matter briefly, Li Zhirui also nodded his agreement, not for the Contribution Value he mentioned but because they were closer to Demon Cultivators and conflict was likely to arise soon, which was what he wanted.
When it came down to it, he found that not a single person in the Bo Li Team opted out; all were willing to join Bo Li in the exploration.
"Great! Many thanks to all the Taoist friends for your strong support! I will certainly not let you down!" Seeing everyone’s readiness, Bo Li was overjoyed.
He had originally thought that only five or six people would be willing to go with him, not expecting that everyone would agree.
"Since that’s the case, let’s meet up tomorrow at the usual place, and I’ll take you there," Bo Li said cheerfully.
The next morning, everyone was already waiting early on, and as soon as Bo Li arrived, he wasted no more time in leading the group towards the location of the Secret Realm.

"Along the way, when we encounter Demon Cultivators, do you all think it’s better to ignore them, or should we take them out?" Bo Li asked after they had flown a distance and entered the battlefield.
"Let’s take action. It may prolong our travel time, but these Demon Cultivators are all Contribution Value."
Thus, the group no longer merely hastened on their way; when they encountered demon cultivators on the road, they would stop to dispose of them before continuing their journey.
However, as they drew increasingly closer to Wind Corruption Prefecture, Li Zhirui and the others seldom took action, for the sheer number of demon cultivators nearby was too great. If they were to attack, it was highly likely that they would provoke a massive counterattack from the demon cultivators.
Even though they were powerful, it was impossible for them to escape unscathed from a horde of demon cultivators numbering in the hundreds.
Among them, Bo Li had it the hardest, for he had to not only control the Spirit Boat but also maintain its high level of invisibility.
But in these two aspects, no one could assist him.
Thus, traveling with intermittent stops, ten days had passed by the time they reached their destination.
"Fellow Daoist, are you sure you remember the location correctly?" someone asked curiously, looking at the desolate surroundings.
Bo Li nodded with certainty and searched further for more conspicuous clues. This time, it didn’t take much time, and he soon found what they were looking for.
A crack that appeared on the mountainside!
"Could there be a chance that a secret realm has emerged?" one person asked with anticipation.
Despite their complete ignorance of the details of this secret realm, it did not hinder their longing for it, nor their expectations of what it might contain.
"No." There was an unmistakable tinge of dejection in Bo Li’s voice.
Upon hearing this, the others had no more to say, and for a time, the Spirit Boat became very quiet.
"Night is about to fall; we should find a place to rest for the night and leave this place tomorrow," Li Zhirui spoke up.
Even though the Spirit Boat could become invisible, it was still rather conspicuous at night and unsuitable for travel.
"Taoist Huang is right."
The group found a concealed corner and set up a hiding formation. Then everyone went about their business.
But no one noticed that a weak Spirit Light suddenly flickered within that crevice.
The flower blooms in two petals, each representing its own branch.
"Have you found the cultivator who killed my grandchild?" San Gui Zhenren asked in a cold voice within the gates of Yin Wind Cave.
"Reporting to the true person, I am incapable of doing so. I can only find a few likely culprits," the Foundation Establishment cultivator said tremblingly, fearing San Gui’s punishment for his failure.
San Gui’s eyebrows furrowed slightly. Was the opponent’s work really so flawless? More than half a year had passed, and still, not a single clue had been found.
"Let’s hear them."

"The first is a cultivator team named Hong Yu. On that day, they left the Immortal City..."
"The second... the third, is the most famous cultivator team in South Mountain Immortal City, Bo Li Team. They also left the Immortal City on that day."
"Since we can’t be certain, then kill them all to appease my poor grandchild," San Gui said with murderous intent.
The Foundation Establishment cultivator hurriedly reported the locations of these teams, but the location of the Bo Li Team was conspicuously absent.
Seeing San Gui glance his way, the Foundation Establishment demon cultivator trembled and quickly said, "The Bo Li Team is currently on the battlefield, I will definitely find them, please give me a little more time."
"Good," San Gui nodded. "I hope you will not disappoint me; otherwise, you know the consequences."
With that, he transformed into a shadowy figure and vanished, seemingly off to seek vengeance.
