Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 710: Chewed
President Musty felt the reversed Conquering Essence fade out of his little control as it was absorbed by Kael.
How was this possible? He asked himself.
Then again, there was a lot of information lacking concerning this matter.
Although it was confirmed that reversed Conquering Essence was very lethal to lions, it had never been tried on a Primordial Lion.
Musty himself was immune to the effects of the reversed Conquering Essence but the regular horses were not.
It should make sense that Kael was also immune to it. He wasn’t an ordinary lion after all.
It was just the way other Primordials could hold the essence of other laws, the way Elizabeth held reversed Conquering Essence in her body.
But there was also a difference between being immune and actively absorbing this reversed Conquering.
Kael could not absorb the essence of another law unless he had permission to do so; it was a fundamental rule that came with being affiliated with the Law of Conquering.
That permission being their submission, obviously.
It worked both ways, there had to be some sort of agreement between the two parties for one Primordial to have access to the law Essence of another Primordial.
If not, the only thing that would happen would be a slight influence just like when Kael had met Marcus for the first time and influenced the latter’s calm nature with a little touch of Conquering Essence.
So, seeing the All-King absorb his reversed Conquering Essence filled Musty with so much confusion that he wondered if some things were still real.
"Of course," Kael said to Musty, "It makes sense, don’t you think?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" President Musty asked as he continued taking steps back.
Kael did not chase after him, there was no need.
"How can any of us be a Conqueror if we don’t conquer the other?
It makes sense.
For me to reach full embodiment, I must not just kill you, I must consume you, take all that you have and make it mine.
If I was the only Primordial affiliated to the Law of Conquering alive in this era, I would have to wait endlessly for another Primordial like to to be born.
All so that I can conquer him or her by myself.
Thankfully, you, Musty, are here..."
Kael’s body flashed forward and he appeared in front of Musty.
Musty’s horse form easily towered over Kael’s humanoid form, yet, it seemed as if Kael was the bigger one
*BAM!*
Kael’s body flashed and he appeared beside Musty, digging his flattened palm into the latter’s flesh...
"AAH!*
Musty’s telepathic scream caused the atmospheric particles to vibrate.
"Sush..." Kael whispered softly as he gripped the wet and warm flesh of the horse from the inside.
Through the invasion of a foreign power, Musty’s body began to weaken drastically.
The pain, oh, the pain.
It was horrible.
His joints, his muscles, his flesh, everything ached as Kael started absorbing everything from his body.
Kael had not even begun what he was meant to do.
Just then, Kael’s body shifted.
His arm that was pierced into Musty’s side began to change. Fur grew out of Kael’s skin and the width of his arms expanded until it was soon replaced with the forelimb of a golden lion.
Following that transformation, different parts of Kael’s body also began to change partially. His two feet remained planted in the ground.
Kael’s head suddenly expanded rapidly. His blonde hair changed to a very prominent shade of gold that grew to a full mane.
He opened his mouth and the edges of his jaws adjusted, revealing large sets of metallic gold fangs.
Kael’s head enlarged beyond proportion, distorting the connection with the rest of his body that was still humanoid.
Kael’s neck and shoulders had also transformed to support his large lion head.
Kael widened his world-devouring maw and right before the eyes of all the kings watching, he proceeded to devour President Musty.
Kael’s head had grown big enough for him to take Musty in one bite.
Musty couldn’t resist at all. Kael’s descending lion head shut its jaws and suddenly, all that was left visible were four bony studs with hooves.
Musty’s legs.
Kael raised his head up and began chewing.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHCK..."
*CRUNCH!*
"NOOOOOO...*
*CRUNCH, SNAP*
*AAAAHAAAAHAAA...*
*CRUNCH*
"Aaaah..."
Every time Kael opened his mouth and closed it, it was with deliberate control of his jaw muscles.
He used his tongue, making sure to avoid Musty’s head as much as possible, and continued chewing.
Very few kings had a view of what was happening in Kael’s mouth but those who did could see that every time Kael opened his mouth, that once glorious and noble horse was reduced to a smaller and smaller meat paste.
His bones were crushed by the grind of Kael’s golden teeth. Every snap filled Kael’s mouth with that rich quality of Primordial meat and blood.
The All-King focused less on the taste and more on the action itself.
What he was doing was deeply symbolic, not just to the kings, but to the universe which seemed to have started paying attention to this place.
In this place, one could see a strange scene.
A Primordial was eating another Primordial.
And not just any Primordial, the two Primordials were affiliated with the same Law.
And it also wasn’t just any law, it was the Law of Conquering.
One Conqueror was eating another Conqueror.
And it wasn’t just any Conqueror.
One was a fallen Conqueror filled with reversed Conquering Essence, the other was an anomaly.
This was an act of domination.
Of course, Must could not be considered a real king in terms of characteristics or stance, but he was a conqueror nonetheless.
It was enough.
The universe, unconscious, but aware, like the immune system of a living organism, recognised and acknowledged the change.
It responded as promised.
When the final light of life was snuffed out of Musty with the last crunch, Kael received it all.
The right to conquer all. The right to dominate all within sight.
*BOOM!*
"AAAH" With blood all over his shrinking head, Kael exclaimed.
Blood tears streamed down his cheeks, dyeing his shrinking fur and staining his beard.
Musty’s body was completely devoured and nothing was left. Kael’s head returned back to normal size without any difficulty.
"What the..." Kael whispered to himself, bending over and clutching his knees.
His golden eyes opened wide and his back arched.
"Is he alright?" Was a question going on in the minds of all the kings present.
Why were they still watching, why weren’t they approaching to help out?
They couldn’t.
The arkships could not get within a certain distance of Kael as there was a field of Absolute Dominion being generated around him.
Kael could feel pain.
Actual pain.
Very serious pain. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Not just in his stomach or his head, but his whole body.
Of all the evolutions and little transformations Kael had experienced, this was the most painful one to date.
It felt like his body was being ripped apart piece by piece, atom by atom, and being put back together one particle after the other.
One second in, and the field of Absolute Dominion around Kael had actualised into a legitimate ability and pillar of reality.
A dome of golden essence surrounded Kael and the continent he was on. No lion or arkship could get close without being pushed back.
The isolation of a universal king was being manifested.
At first, it was just the continent, then there was a resonance that shouldn’t be possible.
The whole of Leonine Heaven shook.
The golden skies flipped, turning dark and more solid. The amount of Conquering Essence saturated in the heavens began to increase.
The lions and lionesses at different locations started noticing that they felt extremely comfortable and there was a burning desire to smash something starting to boil within their blood.
Meanwhile, Kael, the All-King, attuned himself to the resonance as his body and mind adjusted.
Kael’s body was breaking apart and solidifying very quickly, transforming into something extremely terrifying.
His mind, which had already been under the influence of so many laws, began to change again.
If Kael’s mind was previously like a fragmented vase with multiple pieces missing, now, it was like a firm marble ball with a smooth surface.
It was one the body and the mind. Now Kael existed as a trinity.
He had his body and his body was him.
He had his mind and his mind was him.
And he had the world and the world was him.
Almost.
The world was not yet his, but it was within his grasp, far closer than it had ever been.
Kael felt such supreme control over the field of Leonine Heaven that he couldn’t explain words.
The term ’fish in water’ was not enough to explain how Kael felt.
All the Primordial Laws within him began to settle, no longer influencing his mind and his aura. There was now a very firm distinction.
The Singularity Conqueror, the All-King, Kael.
He had claimed full sovereignty over the law of Conquering.
