Reincarnated To Evolve My Bee Empire-Chapter 150: Titan Slayer
"AAAAAAAAAH!!!"
The howls of pain from the green giants made me cover my ears. The giants convulsed, probably trampling some of my daughters… Rest in peace their souls, and the souls of our enemies.
As someone who died from a bee sting once, I sympathized a little.
Normally, even more bees would’ve died as their stingers got stuck in humans’ chitin and flesh. However, my bees were smart girls, and they had my instructions.
Instead of recklessly tearing themselves by trying to fly away, the bees used their knives, tools and claws to cut their stingers free. In seconds, they began to fly away from thrashing giants one by one.
This was a simple, but incredibly effective tactic. Instead of thousands of casualties, we probably had… only a couple hundred.
I was trying to take a page from Ambrosia’s book and look at the numbers optimistically.
Because—two hundred! Besides 5 thousands that died by giants’ hands earlier, burned in fire they created or choked in smoke!
But now…
"Revenge!" Malevolence shouted over the groaning of dying humans.
"Revenge!" Destroyer echoed, flying up to me. She looked tired, but barely held back her glee. "Father, what a glorious day! We’ve been lucky to fight at your sight today!"
"Those fuckers shouldn’t have come here! Don’t poke a hornet’s nest, even a former one!" I raised my spear. "And you did amazing in this fight, girls! Each and every one of you!"
Closer to the green giants, bees from Camp Rich were cheering, too.
Then, one by one, humans went still and quiet. Their health points became zero.
I’d be more sad about their deaths if they didn’t kill so many bees earlier—and if they didn’t carry a wealth of loot on them. Their clothing! Their metal tools! Even their meat—so much meat, it probably could last our entire empire for a month! And it wasn’t technically cannibalism. The giants were *different species*!
It’s not like my greed overwhelmed my straining morality norms or anything.
<Congratulations, for killing a creature over 100 times your size you got a new achievement: "Titan Slayer"! Your reward: "Titan Slayer" title.>
〔Titan Slayer〕: +20% to all base stats when in battle against an opponent at least 100 times your size. The allies in your line of sight gain +10% to all base stats.
<Congratulations, for killing a human you got a new achievement: "Beginner Human Exterminator"! Your reward: a morphotype slot.>
<Congratulations, for killing 3 humans you got a new achievement: "Advancing Human Exterminator"! Your reward: 3 gene points.>
I choked on air as I listened to the system listing my rewards.
They were incredibly useful, sure.
But just how much the Goddess of Bees hated humans?!
’What if I kill 10 of them? Will she give me 10 gene points? What if I kill a hundred? Will she give me a blowjob?’
I shuddered at the very idea.
Not only was the goddess a bitch, she was also a bee, and not a humanoid one.
I hurriedly banished the image from my mind and flew to Hammerwork’s swarm. My Beemarines followed close by, as usual.
By the time I got to the giant corpses, my bees spread all around. Some were just resting, others were examining the giants themselves, while several groups had been gathering bodies of the trampled bees—those that were in reach.
Hammerwork wasn’t one of them, thankfully—she flew up to me as soon as I got close, waving her hands in wild excitement.
"Father! No, no—Glorious Father-Emperor! This—I have no words! You are truly the strongest, the greatest! You have powers I can’t even imagine—to bring a giant down with a single strike of a spear! I will tell everybody about it—but, ah."
She caught herself and tried to appear serious. Too bad—she was still looking at me like I was some saint!

And Hammerwork wasn’t alone.
More and more bees gathered around us, looking at me like I had a halo over my head. The joy they felt was written boldly and plainly on their faces, but their awe stopped them from cheering as loudly as usual. Instead, they just stood or hovered around, watching me.
"You want a full report of the attack on Camp Rich, Glorious Father-Emperor? Or you have new orders?" Hammerwork asked.
I coughed awkwardly.
Knocking a giant out with a single electric shock was incredible even to me, and I knew how electricity worked. For my girls, it could as well have been magic.
At least Destroyer and my Advisers knew details about my system and how it worked. Bees that rarely saw me in person, like Hammerwork or even more low-ranked Worker Bees, only heard about the system from rumors.
No wonder they were so awed.
Anyway…
’System, switch my title back to "Grand Strategist".’
<Done, user.>
With a boost of intelligence, my thoughts flew faster again. And many of them were grim ones.
"I will need a full report, but it can wait. First, everybody should take a break. Second, I need a messenger sent to Hive Supremo. I want a strike force here and a workforce of… Say, 10 thousand Warrior Bees and 20—no, 40 thousand other workers. Physicians, too! Oh, I will write a list."
The bodies of the giants would attract a lot of scavengers, and I didn’t want large predators near Camp Rich.
Not to mention, other humans who will eventually come looking for three missing people…
"Will do, Glorious Father-Emperor!"
"And stop calling me that—it’s too long! Just ’Father’ is enough and always has been."
Hammerwork pouted.
"But it’s not glorious enough for how amazing you became! Your armor shines and your spear is gold."
I raised a finger and wiggled it. With a corner of my eyes I saw other bees nearby leaning in, listening intently.
"Ah-ah-ah, Hammerwork! Language is a malleable thing. Words have whatever meanings we put into them! So you can say ’Father’, and mean not just a progenitor, but ’Glorious Father-Emperor’."
Even more awe dawned on Hammerwork’s face.

"Ooooh… Yes, Father, who’s not only glorious, but is also incredibly smart! I’m ashamed that there was a single moment when I doubted you!"
"You better be," Destroyer muttered.
I clapped my hands.
"No fighting between each other, girls! Now—we have won, but there’s still a lot of work to do!"
Next few days promised to be very busy, but fruitful. The things we were going to get!
