Reincarnation Of The Strongest Spirit Master-Chapter 1334: The Kingโs Gravest Mistake
William wasnโt fooling with her; he had an idea the moment he learnt about her true identity. Even if this idea was crazy, if she succeeded in doing it, things would change dramatically compared to his past life! ๐๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ซ๐ฎ๐.๐ฌ๐๐ข
"But for now letโs focus on the task at hand," William started to teach her what formations they needed to lay down there. As she was someone from the upper realm, she didnโt need him to tell her about how to lay down these formations. He just mentioned the names of the formations, reviewed how to do it quickly with her by passing on the main points, then handed enough materials over.
"Now we are ready," William descended onto the lower levels of these hills through a big tunnel. It was damp down there, and the air was filled with a weird and funny smell. William spread out his spirit sense, took a grand look over the structure of this underground dark masterโs old base.
The base stretched for tens of miles, expanding under the vast span of hills on the surface. William was satisfied when he saw this underground structure, "This is indeed the perfect place for this... But we need to start working right away!"
The surface area they needed to cover with formations was simply too vast! Not to mention they had to look for any tunnel or hidden escape route for this grand base to cover. Or else the explosion would get out of hand and expand to reach the surface!
"Letโs go! Iโll handle that part," Becky didnโt mind that, picked a side and started working there. William kept a close eye on her for a while, before realising she was doing great on her own.
"The masters from the higher realm are on a whole different level indeed," William smiled in content, as she used similar methods to keep herself high in the air and not fall.
As everything was set up brilliantly, William focused entirely on laying down the formations. He hoped his friends were having the same smooth progress, which was the case for most.
The only exception was what the king, Sloth, and authoritative masters decided when the bombs arrived at their capital.
There was a small meeting in the kingโs private section of the palace. The king was there, alongside his most trusted aides and masters, while Sloth put the three bombs in front of them.
"You only managed to get three?" The king looked at Sloth in disappointment, "we wanted five..."
"That lad didnโt intend to give us more than one actually," Sloth tiredly sighed, "if not for Anjie, he wouldnโt have agreed at all!"
"If only she was more cooperative with us..." The leader of the kingdomโs armies muttered in low tone, filled with frustration.
"Ahem," the king interrupted this usual debate around his sole daughter, "we already agreed to let her act as she likes, while we keep the best interest of the kingdom with our hidden actions."
"..." The kingโs words were absolute; no master would dare to refute them. Yet that didnโt mean everyone was agreeing with what he said. They saw in Anjieโs relationship with William a way to better extort more benefits from William, not always ending up with the low end of the straw!
"Anyway, three isnโt bad either," Sloth gave his close friends a deeper and meaningful look, "we shall start acting, did you find suitable places to hide these?"
"We already sent our spies into the three kingdoms around," the kingdomโs armies leader took out a map, put it on the big table in the room, before adding, "once the bombs explode, weโll move our masters under the disguise of rescuing and aiding them, take care of any remnant armies, before expanding out kingdomโs lands officially!"
"I never thought our beloved and cute little princess will be the key to turn our kingdom into an empire," an old master said in clear excitement, before turning to look at Sloth with a strange look on his face, "the only thing worrying me is that kid, do you think he will accept what we are going to do?"
"What else can he do other than that?" Sloth shrugged, before adding in a strong tone, "he trusted us with these bombs, and he has to trust our judgement and decision. We wonโt let go of such a once in a lifetime chance to expand and grow our kingdom."
"Donโt worry about him," the king casually said, "even if he became angry, I can always keep him under check using my beloved Anjie."
"And we arenโt weak either," Sloth added this point that many neglected, "that kid gave us an army of high-end masters, those who came from the outer world. I donโt know what went into his head to give up such a formidable force, but with them alone we can be considered on par with the only empire in our world."
"Thatโs also true," the king nodded, while the excitement of being this close from achieving the long-awaited dream of his ancestors blinded his vision and good judgement, "we arenโt weak. Get ready, in a few days weโll become the second empire in our world!"
The old masters around the king pushed him towards committing the biggest mistake in his entire life, perhaps even in the entire kingdomโs history. No one of them ever took William as a worthy and dangerous master to be wary of.
If Anjie was in these talks, then she would definitely stand against such a turn of events. William didnโt tell Sloth anything about the benefits of these bombs, but Anjie learnt about them from William himself. The latter didnโt keep his girls and friends in the dark and told them briefly about the great benefits awaiting those who would follow his commands.
He did that so every force would realise how big of a chance he gave them. He also wanted them to appreciate his gesture, and highly value the opportunity given to them thanks to him and his girls.
