"We have to be quick! Damien, you go ahead. We will regroup later," Reva hurriedly said as they nodded at each other before splitting off.

"All of you, be careful! And reach out to me in case something comes up," Damien instructed before seeing them fly off. He knew Yuria could use her status to guide the people to safety, just like how Reva and Lily could do with their status and power as well in this time of confusion and chaos.

However, Valentina remained at Damien's side since all she cared about was him. Damien was about to say something when Valentina immediately spoke, "I don't want to go anywhere else. Your energy reserves aren't full yet. You might need me."

Damien could only helplessly nod as he said, "Alright, then. Let's go."

The two of them flew towards Luton Town, where they went into Tristen's mansion before going towards the dungeons to meet a certain someone.

"Ah, ah, if it isn't for my inhuman captor. Tristen hasn't been telling me that much news, you know," Farah coyly chuckled as she saw Damien's figure. But her expression faltered when she saw a pair of blood-red eyes behind him, coming out from within the shadows.

Why was she here, and why did she look…mature and more beautiful? What was going on?

Farah was baffled by how Valentina seemed to have changed so much in such a short period of time. This wouldn't be possible unless…

Valentina maintained her cold expression, resisting the temptation to kill Farah on the spot. She had disliked this woman the moment she met her. She had to keep a close eye to make sure this slut won't touch Damien with her dirty hands.

"Farah, I don't have time for games. Huh…what happened to Drake?" Damien was surprised to see a body on the back of the cell.

"Oh, him? I just shut him up since he was getting too annoying. We don't have to worry about him anymore," Farah casually said.

Damien shook his head as he said, "Forget about it. I am here to ask if you know anything about Ruthren being able to control dead people and about the plague outside that is killing the lands and people alike?"

Damien knew that the plague was happening due to the egg, but he simply put it there just in case this sly woman knew something, even if the chance seemed nil.

But he felt that if he got to find out how Ruthren controlled the Lancaster Emperor, then he might find out what was really going on in this continent since he already knew Ruthren was responsible for this plague.

He knew he couldn't do anything about the mysterious egg that was causing the plague and the only option he could see was to use the gateway Anton had told him to use. But that just seemed suicidal, especially since he had no idea how bad it was in the Old World.

Farah's expression suddenly became serious as she asked, "Did you just say Ruthren controlled a dead man? The Lancaster Emperor is already dead? And the lands outside are dying? Oh my god…I failed. I knew it. I shouldn't have thought you would be able to get rid of Ruthren before the time was right," Farah mumbled as her eyes wandered around in thoughts.

Damien felt that something was off and that this woman certainly knew something as he sternly asked, "Stop mumbling and tell me what you know. Otherwise, I will just have to kill you and leave if you are of no use to me."

Farah scoffed as she said, "You don't get it, do you? You all are dead already. Everyone in this continent."

Valentina clicked her tongue in annoyance as she grabbed Farah's neck and banged her head against the metal bars, "Are you deaf? Answer what he asked," Valentina ordered with a piercing glare, making Farah raise her head in surrender as she said, "Ow! That fucking hurt. Okay, okay. Just let me go. Fuck!" Farah realized that even if Valentina seemed to have changed on the outside, she was still the hot-tempered one who wouldn't hesitate to break her bones.

"I don't think Ruthren was the one exactly who controlled the Lancaster Emperor. I mean, he didn't do it alone nor on his own. He obviously had help."

"From who?" Damien asked with narrowed eyes.

"From a Spiritwalker. Someone like me, of course," Farah said with a tired sigh.

"A Spiritwalker? I remember you mentioning that to me, but at that time, all you said was that it was some Dark Spirit Arts that affect the soul. You never told me about the fact that you can use these arts to do much more than simply coughing out answers from a dead person or the fact that another Spiritwalker existed on this continent!" Damien was pissed off since if Farah had told him everything at that time, he could have maybe prevented all this or at least could have prepared for it.

"Hey! Don't jump to conclusions like that. First, why would I blurt out my secrets before my enemies? Would you do the same if you got captured? Secondly, I had no idea there was a second Spiritwalker on this continent. Maybe Ruthren found some way to contact someone from the outside. Must be the Xeton God's doing," Farah mumbled in contemplation.

"What? Someone from the outside? The Old World? What are you saying?" Damien asked with furrowed brows. He guessed Ruthren probably got some help, but he never expected it to be like this.

"I am saying that the Spiritwalker he must have got help from must be from what you people call the Old World, just like me. Did you really think I was born on this continent? Haa…now I am going to die without even completing my mission," Farah said with a shake of her head.

"What the…You are from the Old World??" Damien was shocked to hear her words since things only became even more complicated.
