"Oh no…" Lily mumbled with a hitched breath as she saw how her strongest light barely stopped it for a few moments before it was already back on its feet and chasing after Damien.

Previously, when she used the same move against the Xeton Army, each of them had got stunned till she ran out of energy. She knew this monster was way stronger than she could imagine, but this was too much.

She couldn't help but feel worried and guilty since, as per their plan, she should be buying more time for Damien.

She shook her head and quickly followed the monster from above, planning to try and stop the monster in case Damien needed her.

Damien was also surprised by how quickly that creature recovered. But after learning about 'Domain', he wasn't that surprised, though it didn't change the fact that he was barely managing to keep himself alive.

"Grandpa Elor, I will be giving the signal soon. After that, get away as far as you can," Damien sent a message through his talisman as he sensed that the creature was again catching up to him quickly.

The few moments Lily had bought him did help him put more distance but only temporarily.

"I will be alright, son. Make sure to not let that filthy creature catch you. I am ready when you are," Elor's message came back.

Damien gritted his teeth as he tried to increase his flying speed as much as he could. The island was already getting closer, but he could feel a strong death aura catching up to him and transmitting a message, "Now!"

From the skies above, a small metallic sphere around the size of a ball fell right in front of the Abominable Fiend.

But before it could react, the metallic sphere emitted short bursts of metallic sounds before exploding into a brilliant flash of white light.

*SKREEEEE!!* The Abominable Fiend stumbled as it fell on the ground and rolled over a few times while covering its face with its arms as if its eyes got blinded by that brilliant white light.

"Phew…I can't believe it took our last remaining treasure from the Old World to knock it down," Elor said with a relieved look though the only regret was that it was the last piece of artifact from the Old World.

This was why Damien was planning to use this artifact as a last straw move. He didn't even use it against Ruthren since he knew bigger problems might be waiting.

*Krrrrrrrr* The Abominable Fiend subtly growled in rage as it got up and shook its head within just a couple of seconds. But it didn't forget what it was chasing and immediately leaped into the air to chase the human that had been annoying it from the start.

"Fuck! It's already up on its feet. Damn it!" Damien was expecting to get at least a few seconds more of time, but he could only hope that it wouldn't catch up to him in time.

He had already reached the island where the formation was already kept open. He easily entered through the gate created by the formation while the Abominable Fiend, who was behind by a few seconds, caught up and followed him into the gate.

Lily, who was behind the Abominable Fiend, also followed it and entered the island while taking one last look at her home, which she might never see again. And with tears in her eyes, she disappeared into the island.

Damien had only covered a few hundred meters into the island before the Abominable Fiend was already catching on.

"Shit! Reva, Yuria, now!" Damien mentally called out.

Reva and Yuria, who were already on the island, standing on the ground, focused their gaze as they used both their hands to use their ethereal moves and try to slow down the Abominable Fiend.

Yuria placed both her hands on the earth as she began to manipulate the earth around the Abominable Fiend.

The Abominable Fiend was about to leap again and grab the human when it suddenly found itself being stuck and looked down to see that the earth was wrapped around its legs, immobilizing it.

And when it looked up, it saw hundreds of sharp icy shards falling on it with great force.

*SKREEEEE!!* The Abominable Fiend roared in anger upon being annoyed by all these, and with a fit of rage, it simply shook its body and freed itself before leaping into the air.

"What the fuck…" Yuria mumbled with a look of dismay to see how easily that monster shrugged off her ethereal restraints despite putting in so much energy.

"Let's go!" Reva wasn't surprised to see that her ethereal attack didn't even leave a scratch on its body and probably only annoyed it even more.

"This fucker is relentless!" Damien's robes were drenched with his sweat after exerting himself without a break. He had thought about simply imprisoning the Abominable Fiend on this island and getting out in time so that it couldn't come back into the Rising Sun Continent.

But there was also the problem that it might breed a lot of children, and in the future, their collective strength might break down the barrier of the island and invade the continent. There was also the issue that nobody in the future could enter the island and use the secret gate left behind by Anton Vahn to go to the other side once the Rising Sun Continent could no longer sustain the people living on it.

Thus he felt it was better to eliminate any possible threat and problems by leading it outside, even if he was risking everything.

The secret gate was on the other end of the island, and Damien could already see it from afar with his naked eyes. And there, he saw Valentina standing in the air while holding Farah's arm.

"Go! I will be right after you!" Damien mentally sent a message to Valentina, who didn't want to go out alone and wanted to help him fend off the Abominable Fiend. But she followed his instructions and disappeared into thin air, making Damien tense since he could only hope Valentina didn't come upon any dangers on the other side.

However, he knew with Farah by her side, at least she would do something to ensure her survival, and Valentina could follow suit.

*KRAAAAA!!*

"Shit!" Damien's eyes widened when the Abominable Fiend had already caught up to him, slowing down his speed, and as he turned his neck around, he saw a huge bony arm filling his vision.
