Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 338 - 275: Dream 4
At her scream, 20 tall humanoid crystal figures almost 30 feet tall with three merged heads manifested, quickly slashing towards Jenus with huge swords.
Jenus looked on unflinchingly as he waved his hand, the blades shattering on impact.
[ No matter what you can’t return back!! ]
Jenus yelled, an image flashed in his mind.
It showed the White Gemaris slashing off the head of a woman with pink skin and glowing pink hair whose face couldn’t be seen. Jenus’ figure was there as the White Gemaris stabbed him in his heart.
"I’m the White Gemaris, I’m meant to have the 356 dimensions under my control. You are just a lower ranked Gemaris so how dare you help them resist!!"
Jenus didn’t mind her words as he dashed towards her, throwing his two round weapons which slashed the White Gemaris and the area around her, destroying the land.
Aurianna and Leila, during the two powerful beings back and forth were left standing there, trembling from the power of their attacks.
"If we enter the battle one spell is enough to finish us off, we need to wait Aurianna," Leila warned.
Aurianna responded with a silent nod.
The White Gemaris was bleeding from his attack but in an instant she healed.
With a determined grunt, Jenus leapt high into the sky. He stretched his hands, muttering under his breath, "Falling Heralds."
Thousands of huge human figures with a pink color appeared. They were distorted statues, similar to Jenus’ appearance.
They possessed wings, using them to hover in the sky as they manifested bows. Energy formed into an arrow as they pulled back their string, all of them firing at the White Gemaris
A huge explosion followed.
"Aurianna let’s go now," Leila yelled as she dashed towards the White Gemaris, Aurianna followed from behind.
As they got closer to the White Gemaris who was covered in minor scars, the White Gemaris released chains from her scythe.
This caught the pair by surprise as they tried to dodge the attack but unfortunately they were too slow. They instantly got wrapped up.
"I can’t move, these chains burn!" Aurianna cried as she felt a burning feeling unlike any other. The pain was even worse than what Paige had done to her in her first life.
Leila grabbed the chains, using all her strength to make her plan come to fruition.
She used her power to propel herself in the air, twisting her body, sending the chains flying towards the angry woman. It wrapped itself around the White Gemaris’s arm.
The sudden action made White Gemaris hesitate for a moment, this was their chance!
Jenus swooped in, grabbing the rest of the chains and in an instant dashed around the White Gemaris, wrapping her up. In the same breath he swiped his hand hard, the force breaking the chains around Aurianna from far away.
"Aurianna and Leila, now!" Jenus yelled and Aurianna and Leila immediately leapt forward, stabbing their swords into the White Gemaris’s skull.
"Do you think mere weapons would do damage to me?" The White Gemaris said with an evil smirk.
However, light started to leak out of her head.
"What’s this, you bastard?!" The White Gemaris growled, rage filling her eyes.
Jenus released a cheeky laugh, "Yes, no weapon can do damage to you, but a bone from a rank 1 Regal can, what’s more it has been enhanced by Aurianna and Leila’s Regal attribute. It wasn’t meant to be used on you but testung it now seems like a good idea."
"Arghh!!" The White Gemaris screamed in agony as her body started to evaporate.
"No I can’t die, I can’t die yet! How can I die easily?!" The White Gemaris cried out.
So many emotions filled her.
The shock, confusion, disbelief, but greatest of all was her rage.
How could these inferior creatures defeat her! It had to be a fluke! A miscalculation! A cruel joke! It had to be!
Her screams of fury which had been going on for a while slowly quieted as her body was halfway gone.
The 3 individuals were standing over her now, looking down at her.
This was something she’d never had to deal with.
She never had to look up at anyone, at most to her left and right, those close to her level but never, ever above.
"Hahahah, even if I die you girls won’t have it easy, all the dimensions will despise you for my demise. You would live in constant fear and terror. Your lives will always be in danger. If you had just let me take over your bodies I could have solved all these problems...."
The White Gemaris started to open her mouth but paused, choosing to stay silent.
With one last sinister smile, her head vanished, leaving no remnants of her.
"We won," Aurianna cried, her legs shaking at the relief of the situation being over.
Her relief didn’t last long though as she then covered her mouth, running to a side of the dark space to throw up.
Leila walked over towards her, patting her back gently as she continued to throw up.
Jenus stepped forward, speaking even though Aurianna was still emptying her stomach. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
[ Even though you’ve won, the White Gemaris’s gem hasn’t fully accepted you since some of her soul receded in you. So for her gem to fully accept you, you have to keep using your Gemaris powers, but one must devour over sixty million souls for that. If not you’ll both die in less than a hundred years. ]
"What?!" At this point Aurianna was finished throwing up, so both she and Leila voiced their shock.
"Don’t Gemariss have a long life span?" Leila stood, a confused expression on her face.
[ They do, but you girls have already been corrupted by the Black Gemaris gem. Take a look at your gems ]
"Umm, I’ve never actually seen my gem," Aurianna muttered nervously, causing Leila to raise an eyebrow.
[ Just close your eyes and hold each other’s hands and you’ll see your gem ] Jenus instructed, hesitance in his voice.
Leila looked at Aurianna and grabbed her hand with a straight face before closing her eyes. Surprised by Leila grabbing her hand, Aurianna just sighed and closed her eyes as well.
Before them was a huge white Gemaris shaped gem, however it wasn’t pure white. It had little black lines at the bottom of it that flickered on and off, reminiscent of lightning.
"This!?" They both gasped.
[ Yes, the corruption of the Black Gemaris ]
"Was it Iris though?" Aurianna wondered.
"Well she did warn us if we got too close to her we could be corrupted," Leila stated and they were both silent.
"We are both idiots huh?" Aurianna blurted out with a frown.
"Yeah..." Leila nodded.
"What are the side effects of corruption?" Leila asked.
[ Straight to the point huh? ] Jenus said jokingly but Leila’s serious look remained the same.
[ The corruption makes one sense of reason lean towards chaos. Meaning all that would be in your head is the will to want to destroy everything. ] Jenus clenched his fist.
[ The corruption will feed on your life force the more you utilize your Gemaris powers. And once sucked dry, you’ll die. Sadly with your current levels you’ll die in less than a hundred years if something does not change. And I don’t believe this was from Iris. The former White Gemaris was corrupted now it has transferred to you. I guess this is her way of cursing you both. ]
Leila stroked her chin, "So all we have to do is devour 60 million souls right?"
[ Not any souls, but souls of humans, elves, floops, and others of intelligent race since the souls of intelligent races are more delicious and would probably extend your lifespan. Such a sacrifice is worth it if means you can survive. ]
Leila perked up, "That would be easy then."
’Did she say it was easy? He’s talking about the top races here,’ Aurrianna thought to herself.
[ Well, that’s all I’ll tell you for now. You two will be automatically teleported from here to your normal worlds. I wish both of you good luck for you have a difficult task ahead of you. ]

Back in the church, Eva was currently floating beside Aurianna’s body, watching her intently.
She perked up as Aurianna’s chest, which had been rising and falling chaotically slowed down to a normal rhythm. Having a normal set pattern like it should.
The sight allowed Eva to breathe her first sigh of relief in a while.
"Hah, I’m glad that she’s okay," Eva stated however in that instant she shifted her attention from Aurianan to the other person in the room. A figure was seated next to the bed, and despite being on the ground still towered above the bed.
Eva gave the figure a cautious look, "I was wondering for a while now about who you really are.... system."
[ My existence is none of your concern. ]
"You’re a Gemaris if I’m right, or a former Gemaris?" Eva pressed, ignoring the warning. She asked this as she had watched Aurianna’s dream from the void space and managed to see what had happened.
[ I do not understand what you mean. And you have no right to make such claims. It’s blasphemy to call oneself a Gemaris when one isn’t. ]
Eva shrugged, "You can play all innocent if you want but you can’t fool me."
"If you want to admit it or not, that’s your decision. But I want you to know, I have nothing against you." She paused, before giving a serious look, "As long as you plan to do no harm to my Gemaris."
There was silence, as Jenus stayed in his position. Without a word he then vanished
