Seven Deadly Sins System-Chapter 247: Fox Tribe
In a small canyon located in the inner area of the Myriad Demons Forest, a relatively large Fox Tribe was situated.
The members of this tribe varied in strength, with some of them having just advanced to become Level 1 Monsters and others having reached the peak of Level 2.
At the same time, their residences differed too.
At the outskirts of this tribe lived the weakest foxes, either in wooden hatches or in randomly built caves, while the stronger foxes lived at the center of the tribe, in what could only be described as luxurious palaces and mansions.
At this point in time, the sun had just risen and most foxes had just woken up when suddenly, a dazzling golden light appeared in the sky above the tribe.
The light exuded a powerful aura and was extremely fast, rushing towards the very center of the tribe without any sign of slowing down.
"It's the Queen !"
"The Queen has returned!"
The happy voices of foxes spread throughout the tribe, as they immediately that the source of this light was their Queen who had previously gone out to kill the invader.
"The Queen was victorious!"
"She must have killed that damn monster!"
"That's right!"
A pair of Level 1 foxes spoke to each other, showing the degree of confidence they had in their Queen and betraying the mood of the other foxes too.
However, what the weaker foxes didn't know was that when the Fox Queen appeared, the expressions of an elder suddenly changed.
"Is there a monster... riding our Queen ?", an old, weary fox muttered in shock while looking at the sky blankly, unwilling to believe what it had just seen.

On the other hand, as soon as the Fox Queen returned to the Fox Tribe, she rushed towards her palace and hurriedly went in, closing the entrance behind her.
With her familiarity with the palace, the three-tailed fox quickly arrived at the hall where the meetings of the Fox Tribe usually took place and stepped towards the throne at its very center.
Once in front of it, she didn't choose to take her seat like she would usually do but instead lowered her body, bringing it close to the floor.
"Please take your seat, my Lord.", a mature-sounding female came out of the three-tailed fox's mouth as she turned her head and looked at her back, causing her golden eyes to reflect the creature sitting on top of her.
This creature was pretty small and covered in colorful gems and although it possessed a majestic expression and exuded a powerful aura, because of its small size, it didn't look imposing at all.
Instead, it looked a little cute, like a plushie.
However, the three-tailed fox didn't dare to underestimate this creature, knowing that it was this monster had had suppressed it not long ago.
Recalling the scene inside the Gem Beast's soul space, her eyes couldn't help but flash with respect, as well as fear.
If any of the foxes outside were here to witness this scene, they would be shocked.
How could their Queen, a Level 3 Monster be so respectful to another creature?
Especially when that creature was a small, seemingly harmless monster?
Faced with the three-tailed fox's words and her respectful eyes, Chu Wuyao's expression didn't change, having been used to such things by now.
Looking at the throne in front of her, she stepped forward and jumped on it, and after adjusting her size a little, she sat down on it.
It was only a few seconds later, when she had become comfortable that she finally turned her attention to the three-tailed fox that was kneeling respectfully below, who had unknowingly transformed back into her human form.
Glancing at the impressive exposed cleavage in front of her, Chu Wuyao nodded her small Gem Beast head before taking the initiative to speak:
"Three-Tails, tell me everything I need to know about my territory and the forces surrounding it.", she ordered, but when she said the two words "Three-Tails", her expression became a little strange.
"Three-Tails", this was the name of the three-tailed fox that she had previously suppressed, and according to her, she used to be called One-Tail and Two-Tails, while if she were to advance and grow another tail, she would be called Four-Tails.
When she first heard this, Chu Wuyao couldn't help but have the urge to roll her eyes, feeling that this little fox's parents were a little too casual when naming their child.
However, on second thought, she understood why her name was so uncreative.
For humans, their name was something important, whether it was because it was given to them by their parents, because of tradition, or because of some other, more personal reason.
No matter why, though, a human's name was part of their identity, just like their gender, sexuality, etc.
For monsters, however, a name was merely a word used to make communication easier and there was not much importance attached to them.
As such, most monsters' names were just like Three-Tails', based on their external appearance, character, or race.
Many thoughts went through Chu Wuyao's mind but Three-Tails didn't notice anything wrong, as her mind was occupied by her question.
She didn't rush to speak, but thought for a brief moment before finally replying:
"Lord, the Fox Tribe's territory is not too big, only a few tens of kilometers long. Apart from this canyon, the only other important places are the Basin Desert and the Black Swamp."
"The Tailed Foxes mostly live in this canyon and although their population is not very large, their individual strength is very impressive."
"At the moment, there are about 100 Level 2 Tailed Foxes and about a dozen of them have reached the peak of Level 2."
"In addition, the monsters living in the Basin Desert and the Black Swamp are also under my-... your command."
"In total, there are about 200 Level 2 Monsters living in this land."
A hint of pride flashed across Three-Tails' face when she said this, as this was a force she had spent many years building and had made her one of the overlords in this part of the forest.
However, when she saw that Chu Wuyao remained expressionless and didn't show any surprise, she immediately hid this pride and continued:
"There are many monsters around this place, but if the Lord wishes to expand her territory, then there are only four monsters that she has to pay attention to."
"In particular, these are: the Web Queen in the north, the Green Peacock King in the west, the Purple-Scaled Serpent in the east, and the Ferocious Ant King in the south."
"Each of these monsters is a Level 3 Monster like me and although there may be some differences in the amount of monsters they have under their command, these differences are bound to be quite small."
Saying this, an undetectable glint flashed in Three-Tails' eyes as she thought of something.
"Lord, if you wish, I'm willing to take charge and wipe out these enemies for you!", Three-Tails spoke and puffed her chest, her tone resembling that of a loyal subordinate.
If anyone were to see her current expression and manners, they would instantly think that she was an extremely loyal subordinate who was willing to die for her master.
Unfortunately, in response to her words, Chu Wuyao raised her claw casually and swung it forward.
"Swoosh!"
The nails brushed against Three-Tails' skin, leaving a claw mark on her abdomen and sending her flying.
"Bang!"
Her body flew across the hall and hit the wall, before falling to the ground.
A few seconds later, when the dust settled, her pale face was revealed, accompanied by a line of blood dripping down her lips.
Three-Tails looked at Chu Wuyao with fear and wanted to say something, but before she could do so, Chu Wuyao interrupted her:
"Be more honest in the future. It'll be bad if I fail to hold back and kill you in an accident.", she spoke calmly, but it was exactly this calmness that made Three-Tails shudder.
Her pale face and her fearful expression made her look extremely fragile, but Chu Wuyao didn't feel any pity.
Other people may think that Three-Tails was thinking of her when she volunteered to clean up those enemies, but Chu Wuyao knew very well that this was not true.
"This is the disadvantage of forcing people to surrender instead of truly conquering them."
"Even Three-Tails has signed a Devil Contract, it's impossible to guarantee her loyalty."
Chu Wuyao understood that the Devil Contract could ensure that Three-Tails could not directly betray her, but this didn't mean that there was no other way for her to plot against her.
For example, she could pit Chu Wuyao against other powerful enemies and wait for her to die at their hands.
Doing so wouldn't actually break the contract, as Three-Tails didn't do anything that was directly detrimental to her.
"Such loopholes are usually used by the Devil to trick their victims, but they can also be used by other creatures.", Chu Wuyao thought silently.
Of course, it was always possible to add more conditions to the contract and "close" those loopholes, but she didn't do it, instead choosing to let them in.
After all, she had to leave Three-Tails some hope of breaking free in order for her to willingly sign the contract.
Even so, Chu Wuyao didn't feel worried at all. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
In her opinion, with her strength and means, she could always just kill Three-Tails if she ever tries to betray her or do anything detrimental.
Thinking of this, she lowered her head and looked at the pale Three-Tails on the ground, before opening her mouth to speak:
"Leave a drop of your blood essence behind and then go out to inform the other members of the tribe that their Queen has changed.", she instructed.
Hearing these words, the paleness on Three-Tails' face became even more apparent.
Although monsters could indeed extract a few drops of their blood essence, doing so would not only injure them but would also affect their strength.
Even though a drop of blood essence didn't seem much, Three-Tails knew that if she were to extract it, she would end up being weak for the next few months.
She was about to try and argue, but when she stared at Chu Wuyao's colorful gem-like pupils that were devoid of any emotion and felt the blood dripping off her abdomen, she swallowed those words and nodded her head obediently.
"Yes, Lord!", Three-Tails said, and with reluctance written all over her face, she opened her mouth wide, coughing a drop of golden blood out that flew toward Chu Wuyao.
Once it was in front of her, Chu Wuyao didn't show any hesitation and opened her mouth, swallowing it like a piece of candy.
