SEX WITH MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCÉ-Chapter 134
Chapter 134: Chapter 134
- KILLIAN -
The virtual meeting ended. Asami gets up from the seat beside me and walks to my side, resting her palm at the end of my desk.
“Well, that was some intriguing meeting with a lot of orders and instructions to follow.” Asami says, her tone low and seductive. I’m not even looking at her. My eyes are on the blank monitor screen on my desk before me while I rest comfortably in my seat. A sigh leaves my lips.
“At the very least, this insufferable thing is over, you can help yourself find your way out.” I crane my head up, finally taking a look at her while keeping a smile on my face.
Asami’s jaw slacks for a second with annoyance written all over her face as she takes her time to digest my words. “Never fun.” She says, standing back up. I watch her closely as she paces slowly in front of me. Her fingers hold both ends of my monitor and adjusts it. Now she pushes my chair backwards with one finger and stands in front of me, sitting cautiously on the space the monitor initially conveyed. “Never fun with Killian.” She’s maintaining her composure and that tone quite well. Her subtle half grin could fool and woo anyone but not me. The moment her hand makes its way forward, I raise my chin up.
“Don’t even think of touching me.” A half smile forms in my lips as I say cooly. “I might break it.” My gaze is locked in hers, daring the vixen.
Asami’s eyelids flutter up as she returns the penetrating glare. Not anger but desire masks her gaze. She leans her torso towards me, her cheeks flaring tomato red. I lower my gaze with distaste. Her cleavage is right in my face, blaring at me. I avert my eyes back up to her face. “What if I want you to break my fingers?” She gasps, holding her hand forward, proceeding to lean my shoulder despite my warning. Two fingers make their way up and down my chest as she speaks. “Considering it’s the only touch close to romance I’ll ever get from you.”
I scoff. “Put on your jacket, Asami and dress properly next time.” I say blandly, getting up from my seat. “You’ve over stayed your welcome, please leave.” I’m being polite. This act of kindness is the most gentlemanly gesture yet and if she chooses to ignore me, well, there are other not so friendly ways to throw a lady out your house. One way being the window. “So what’s it going to be?” I return the dark, exciting, penetrating gaze back, looking deep into her eyes, a malicious smile on my face. Oh how gracious it would be if she knew what I was thinking.
“I’ll see myself out.” She breaths.
Dang it. I was starting to have a sexual chemistry with my window and it just needed a female body flying out of it.
“Be my guest.” I say, assuming my body on one of the sofas in front of my office table. Asami gets up from my desk and walks to the door. She stops moving then turns to face me.
“So tell me, your muse. . . “ I notice her jaw clench. “Hazel, is not visiting today?”
I didn’t say a word. She need not concern herself with such matters. freewebnøvel.coɱ
“Aw, come on, tell me.” She cocks her head to the side, flipping her hair to the other side of her face which gives me a good view of her well defined face and neck. I don’t let my gaze rest on her structures long enough to notice more of her features which is clearly what she was trying to achieve.
I don’t get it. Why don’t women ever get the point when a man wants nothing to do with them? They think showing more skin is what will please him? Good gracious.
“For old time’s sake.” Asami’s voice breaks my reverie, causing me to return my gaze back to her. Folded on Asami’s hand is her jacket. “Broke up with her already?”
Not even in your wildest nightmares.
My blood boils but I maintain a calm demeanour. “That is not for you to worry about. Out.” I respond. The grin on Asami’s face is just too wild. This makes me squint. What’s she driving at?
“See you on Thursday, Ivanov.” Asami makes her way out. I take a deep breath the moment her presence leaves my room. These Thursday meetings are becoming a chore. I have to speak with S regarding it. Maybe we can make it two Thursdays a month. Would be better. I seriously can’t stand Asami.
“Oh Killian, you have a guest.” Asami sing songs in a husky purr, walking back inside. I groan. Just when I thought I was done with her, she interrupts my peace with her presence.
I am not expecting anyone today. I barely expect and invite visitors. I get up from the sofa, my intention to check out whatever she said and attend to the person.
“Wait here, I think she’s going to come in.” Asami says walking back to my desk. Her hands stretch backwards and supports her body on the table without her body actually touching the table as she stares at the door.
A she? Which she?
The figure that emerges from the door makes my eyes widen for a second. Oh, her. That’s the ‘she’.
I find my brows furrowing as I plaster my gaze at Asami then back to Hazel, what game exactly did Asami pull this time? My fists clenches. I feel my nails digging into my skin in the process but I didn’t release my fingers.
“Hazel,” I speak first, trying to have her attention and control the situation.
Hazel holds her hand up, holding a finger at me. The message is clear. She wants me to shut up. Hazel’s not even looking at me, her attention is directed at somebody else. At the lady standing comfortably in my home office, now folding her arms across her chest. The person she knows as Carol.
I swallow, respecting her wish while watching the scene I’m sure is bound to unfold.
“I want to hear nothing from you.” Hazel fumes, daggers shooting out of her stern words as she keeps her attention focused on Asami. I can tell those words were directed at me. Her eyes finally lands on me proving my assumption. Rage. I can tell how angry she is from here. I can see the dry traces of tears across her face.
I feel my heart crushing and beating quickly in my chest at the same time. This was never how I intended her to find out about my connection with Asami. I hoped she wouldn’t know at all. I hoped to finish every business I have with S then get the tolerance with S’ associates off my back but I guess nature had other plans. Hazel isn’t even supposed to be here at all today. How did I miss this? Fuck!
I thread my fingers through my hair, pushing my hair back.
Hazel shifts her focus from me. “Would you like to explain this to me, Carol?” She asks, voice demanding nothing but an answer. An honest one. “Or should I say, Asami?” Hazel cocks her head to the side, folding her arms over her chest as her lips press together in a firm line. She looks like she’s ready to beat somebody and with whatever thing she lays her hand on.
Also, Hazel just referred to ‘Carol’ as Asami.
What did I miss? How long has she actually been here? I’ve only mentioned Asami’s name once.
My hand makes its way inside my pocket, reaching for my father’s zippo. A slight sting makes me wince as my key comes in contact with my finger.
The key. . .
I left the room open, didn’t I? Shit. What exactly did she see?
And what exactly did I miss?
“You better speak up if you don’t want me to slice that tongue of yours off.” I can tell Hazel’s mad but something in her tone says it’s directed at something else. What it is is something I don’t know. I think I should be more concerned of the violent threat but I don’t even know what to do.
“What business do you possibly have in my man’s house?! And don’t make me ask twice.”
