Chapter 117: Chapter 117 Lecture (Extra for Alliance Leader PureRedApple) (Third Update)
"I also think so."
"Exactly, since when do Mecha Drivers exercise their physical fitness like that?"
...
The rest of the students followed with indignant complaints.
However, Rhein, who usually hated Mia the most, unexpectedly did not join the reproach.
Zhang Yi noticed Rhein was silent, so he asked curiously,
"Rhein, why aren’t you saying anything? Fell asleep?"
"No, I just think that maybe Teacher Mia is really training us..."
Rhein replied with some uncertainty.
Hearing Rhein’s words, Su Ming also became a bit interested and asked,
"Why do you think so?"
"Normal Mecha Drivers indeed don’t need too much physical training, but I’ve heard from my elders at home that since the fourth generation, it’s been different. It seems to require particularly high physical qualities."
Rhein hesitated before saying.
Upon hearing this, everyone fell silent, and suddenly nobody spoke.
"Let’s go to sleep, we have to continue moving stuff tomorrow."
Su Ming sighed and said to everyone.
"Yeah!"
Rhein and the others responded after hearing this.
Su Ming looked at the underside of the bunk above him, pondering today’s training, as well as all of Mia’s actions. For a moment, he couldn’t quite understand what she was really trying to do.
At this moment, a series of snoring sounds began to rise, interrupting Su Ming’s thoughts.
The corner of Su Ming’s mouth twitched slightly as he quickly closed his eyes to sleep.
...
In the blink of an eye, seven days passed. During these seven days,
Su Ming and the others did nothing but carry seeds on foot to the plantation day after day, with Mia happily collecting the money in pack after pack.
Rhein and the others were all filled with pent-up frustration, but still had no opportunity to complain, fearing that Mia would just quit on them.
On the eighth morning,
Su Ming got all his classmates together very early, but Mia was nowhere to be seen for half the day.
"What’s going on? Why don’t we see anyone?"
"She couldn’t still be sleeping, could she?"
...
Angel and the others whispered among themselves.
"Quiet down, the teacher hasn’t arrived yet, let’s wait for her a bit."
Su Ming said simply.
Seeing Su Ming speak, everyone quieted down and waited patiently.
About half an hour later, Mia arrived, yawning and looking like she hadn’t woken up fully.
"Teacher, you’re here, we can set off now."
Su Ming greeted Mia.
"Set off? No need! We’re not carrying stuff today, we’re going to the teaching building, I’m going to give you a lesson!"
Mia said, stretching lazily.
"Finally, something different."
Zhang Yi and the others said happily.
"Let’s go!"
Mia, seeing the students so happy, didn’t say much and simply waved her hand.
Su Ming and the others then followed Mia toward the teaching building.
....
A moment later, inside classroom 23 of the Mecha department on the third floor of the teaching building.
Su Ming and the others sat in their seats while Mia stood at the podium, lifted her hand, and snapped her fingers, instantly activating the projection device.
"Today, I’ll mainly explain cosmic biological level division to you all. You should listen carefully, as this is literally a life and death topic," she said with a smile to everyone.
Su Ming and the others listened intently, recognizing that this content was substantial.
Mia didn’t beat around the bush and went straight to the point.
"Firstly, biological levels are divided from low to high as follows: Type I, Type II, Type III, Type IV, Type V, Type VI. Of course, I’m not saying there aren’t higher levels beyond Type VI, but as far as we’ve discovered, the highest level creatures are Type VI! Within the same type, there are differences in strength, with some even able to surpass levels. We divide them based on their strength as well, starting with the ordinary template which can be automatically disregarded, followed by Elite Level, General Level, Lord Level, Heroic Level, Emperor Level...."
"Teacher, how powerful is the strongest Type VI creature?" Zhang Yi asked curiously.
"In the blink of an eye, it can annihilate a star and not just on the surface; it destroys the entire planet. If you’re interested, you can borrow a book from the library called The Wanderings of Starry Skies, written by Hanks. It contains detailed descriptions; he witnessed such scenes," Mia answered professionally.
Su Ming and the others all gasped.
"Teacher, if the Federation were to face a Type VI enemy, would we stand a chance?"
"That’s not something you need to worry about. Tall people will handle it when the sky falls! Let’s continue with the lesson. I have finished talking about the basic division of levels of strength, and now I’ll show a series of image photos, which record the appearances of Chilami, the Mechanical Clan, various types of monsters, and some rather notorious creatures!" Mia said and began to display the relevant image photos. The first photo featured a mass of black cellular matter at the center, labeled as Type I Chilami, with arrows pointing outwards to the various hosts including mice, dogs, people....
After letting everyone view it, she immediately switched to the next photo, showing the form of a Type II Chilami, and then continued to switch through image photos.
When Mia reached the final photo, Su Ming caught sight of a familiar figure and his eyelids twitched violently; it was a tyrannosaurus whose body seemed to be made of blades.
"I believe some of you must be very familiar with this creature," Mia said with a smile.
"Damn, isn’t that the creature that wiped us out during the city exams?" Zhang Yi exclaimed in surprise.
"Type V Heroic Level ’Sword Tyrannosaurus’ Hamikas! One of the Mechanical Clan’s top heroes, who killed countless of our compatriots in the Earth Flame Star battle! I ask you, what would you do if you encountered it on the battlefield?"
Mia asked all the students seriously.
"Of course, we would fight it fearlessly!" Rhein replied without a hint of hesitation.
"Idiot!" Mia scolded without mincing words.
The classroom erupted into murmurs, and Rhein’s face turned red as he retorted.
"Why would you say that about me, teacher?"
"You should first consider what kind of Mecha you pilot. If it’s a fourth-generation Mecha, you might still be able to touch it. If not, run as far as you can; you don’t even deserve to stand in its presence! The reason I’m talking about level divisions today is to tell you that when you encounter an enemy, you need to be able to assess their strength. Don’t charge in like a greenhorn and get yourself killed!"
"The classification of Mecha isn’t arbitrary; it corresponds to the enemies’ various forms. Theoretically, only Mecha of the same level can contend with them. But even if they’re of the same level, the Mecha’s chances of winning are not high; usually, you would still need your teammates’ assistance! As for taking on challenges above your level, it’s not unheard of in history but extremely rare. I advise you not to overestimate yourself, thinking you’re that one-in-a-million hero," Mia scolded them sternly.
Rhein was immediately rendered speechless by Mia, unable to muster any rebuttal.
"One more thing: the universe is actually vast beyond measure. The cosmos that mankind has explored is but a speck in the ocean! The vast universe doesn’t only harbor Chilami and the Mechanical Clan; in fact, there are many other species as well. There are at least 10,000 known species so far."
