She Asks for a Divorce Again-Chapter 50 - : Not Returned
Chapter 50: Chapter 50: Not Returned
She had vomited all over Shen Jiangli’s body.
On Shen Jiangli’s expensive, meticulously ironed suit, vomit instantly smeared everywhere, emitting a foul smell. He furrowed his brows tightly, about to curse and push the person away when he looked down and saw Shen Heyu sitting on the ground.
She leaned against the wall, her legs spread wide in a big “V,” one hand wiping the corner of her mouth, the other wiping her eyes.
Her whole body slumped, shoulders drooping, as she sobbed softly.
“You never take responsibility for me, you never trust me… You came here, surely for business, not to take me home…”
Shen Heyu had drunk too much and was out of her senses, not even knowing what she was saying, just instinctively voicing her inner thoughts.
...
Shen Jiangli was stunned by her state.
Such a woman always sparked a man’s protective instinct, regardless of the man’s status.
Shen Jiangli took off his suit jacket and threw it into a nearby trash can.
He then went to the bathroom to wash his hands and body, arranged for his assistant to bring a set of clean clothes, and then left the restroom.
He reached out and poked Shen Heyu’s face, “Hey?”
Shen Heyu was fast asleep, completely unconscious against the wall.

Speechless, Shen Jiangli, thinking of how sadly she had cried and how beautiful she was, considered it unsafe for her to be alone here.
He bent down, intending to pick her up and book her a room, and then leave.
However, before his hand could touch Shen Heyu, he was fiercely pushed away.
“What are you doing… hic… How dare you touch my baby, are you tired of living?”
Lu Yunlan was also tipsy, but her tolerance was much better than Shen Heyu’s. She wobbled towards Shen Jiangli, flinging a series of weak punches and kicks at him.
Her small arms and legs posed no threat to Shen Jiangli; it just felt like being entangled annoyingly, irked, he pushed Lu Yunlan aside, “And who are you? Do you know her?”
How come there are two drunkards?
Unexpectedly, with that push, Lu Yunlan also fell to the ground, landing on Shen Heyu, murmured something, and then also fell into a deep sleep.
Shen Jiangli: “…”
He sighed, resigned to pick Shen Heyu up. Just then, his assistant arrived with the clean clothes and helped carry Lu Yunlan to a room on the top floor of the bar.
He and his assistant laid the two women on the bed, left his business card, and walked out.
Shen Heyu and Lu Yunlan spent the night together on the spacious bed.
Neither had taken a bath, feeling sticky all over.
The next day, Shen Heyu woke up uncomfortably and saw Lu Yunlan lying next to her.
The air was thick with the smell of alcohol.
She was a bit dazed, barely recalling their wild night, but how they ended up here, she had completely forgotten.
She only remembered seeing Pei Yansi before she fell asleep, and even vomiting on him. After that, she had no memory because she had fallen asleep.
Shen Heyu did not disturb Lu Yunlan, went to the bathroom to shower, and when she came back, saw that she had woken up and was sitting on the bed, looking at a business card.
“Shen Group? Shen Jiangli? Who is that?”
Shen Heyu walked over, leaned in to look at the card in her hand, “What?”
Seeing the name and phone number, she instinctively said, “Could it be the person who brought us here last night?” So it wasn’t Pei Yansi she had seen.
She casually kicked up the card, saying to Lu Yunlan, “Go wash up first, you smell entirely of alcohol.”
Lu Yunlan nodded and headed to the bathroom.
Shen Heyu glanced at the time; it was almost time for work. After saying goodbye to Lu Yunlan, she left first.
Having no clean clothes to change into, she had to continue wearing the outfit from yesterday, but she bought a new set on the way, quickly dry-cleaned it, and planned to change in Pei Yansi’s resting room after arriving at the company.
As soon as Shen Heyu entered the elevator, she ran into a former friend of Liu Meng, a manager.
At that time, it was only the two of them in the elevator.
In that cramped space, she couldn’t hide the smell of alcohol on her body.
The manager sniffed and, with a somewhat amused look, asked, “Why do you reek of alcohol? Did you forget to change your clothes after going to a hotel?”
Shen Heyu sneered, knowing he was venting for Liu Meng, and retorted, “Not everyone is like you, frequently going to hotels with Director Liu.”
This wasn’t her making things up; she knew about their indiscretions several times before, going to hotels frequently.
Hearing this, the manager’s face turned pale, knowing that if others found out about his affair with Liu Meng, he would also be fired.
Once he reached his floor, he no longer glanced at Shen Heyu and hurriedly left.
Shen Heyu arrived at the president’s office and, carrying her clothes, entered Pei Yansi’s office.
She thought he wouldn’t be there at this time, but he was sitting on the sofa with a touch of crimson between his fingertips. Hearing the door open, he turned and looked at her with a cold gaze.
Dark circles were evident under his eyes, as if he hadn’t slept all night.
“President Pei?” she hadn’t expected him to be here.
“You’re quite early today,” he said indifferently, taking a puff of his cigarette, “What are you carrying?”
“Clothes. I’d like to use your resting room.”
Pei Yansi didn’t respond.
Actually, using the word ‘borrow’ among a couple already indicated some distance; Shen Heyu was merely salvaging what was left of their not-so-loving relationship.
Thus, she didn’t wait for his response and, carrying the clothes, entered the resting room first.
The furnishings in the resting room were simple, a wardrobe, a bed and desk, and a small attached bathroom—that was all.
She stood by the bed and started undressing.
Just after she had undressed, she heard the sound of the door opening.
Startled, she quickly covered her chest with her hands and turned to look, only to see Pei Yansi entering and closing the door of the resting room behind him.
His action made Shen Heyu’s heart skip, “What are you doing? I’m changing; please go out.”
“It’s the same now–there isn’t a part of you I haven’t seen.”
Shen Heyu frowned; despite that, she still couldn’t help but feel embarrassed and shy.
She thought that Pei Yansi was acting a bit strange today, but she couldn’t quite pinpoint what was odd.
His gaze was very cold, and the atmosphere around him was extremely chilly, making one feel like they were plunging into an ice cellar.
She hesitated for a moment, not wanting to delay any further, she began to put on the new clothes she had bought.
Just as she picked them up, she suddenly felt a push on her back, causing her body to lurch forward; her legs knelt on the bed, and her whole body knelt in a prone position on the bed.
“Pei Yansi!” she exclaimed in shock.
Pei Yansi pressed down on her from behind and asked in a deep voice, “Where were you last night?”
