Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 1428: Kicked out
My chin dropped in shock when I heard this.
It wasn't because I was shocked to see Rose saying this to the Holy Empire's messengers.
Rather, it was because I was shocked to see that she was saying this to me.
There was no mistaking it since she was standing right in front of me and even looking me in the eyes when she said this.
No matter what angle one looked at this from, it was clear that she was talking right to me.
I slowly looked around and found that everyone had already taken a step back. Even the messenger from the Holy Empire had moved away as if he didn't want to get himself involved in this matter.
It really seemed like all of them were just abandoning me to handle this myself.
In the end, the only thing that I could do was look at Rose and ask, "What are you saying?"
Rose narrowed her eyes to look at me before saying, "You were planning on sending them away without going with them, right?"
"Huh?"
This was certainly what I was planning to do and I wasn't surprised that she would know this since I felt that I was making it quite clear that this was what I was planning to do. It was just the tone of voice she said this with that caught me off guard.
After all, the serious tone that she had definitely meant that she wasn't happy that I was about to do this.
Normally, Rose didn't seem to care about such things as she left these matters to me.
But today, it seemed like she was very concerned with whether I went or not…
This didn't really make sense based on what I knew about Rose.
It really seemed like she was against what I said.
I really didn't understand why she was acting this way. It was completely different from the Rose that I knew.
But this also wasn't something that we should be openly doing in front of others like this.
I could see that even though they had stepped back to avoid getting involved, they were still looking at us with inquisitive looks. It was as if they were carefully watching us to see what we would do.
This was not the kind of thing that should be shown to others after all.
I wanted to see if I could get Rose to move to a more private place, but it seemed like she wouldn't go along with this.
It seemed that no matter what I did, she wouldn't budge.
Instead, she just said, "You need to go."
Everyone looked at her with strange looks when they heard this, including me.
I looked at her as if I couldn't understand what she was saying.
But Rose just calmly said, "This is important, so you have to go. The Relics of Destruction are something that involves the very fate of our world, so this is not something that you can just choose to ignore."
An awkward and bitter smile appeared on my face when I heard this.
I didn't try to refute this since I knew that she was right.
Even if I wanted to say something, it didn't work when I was being faced with logic like this. If I were to say anything, it would just make me look like the fool since I would be trying to argue against logic.
But I didn't want to leave my daughters…
"You're doing this for them." Rose said.
A very strange look appeared on my face when I heard this.
After all, it was as if she had read my mind with the way that she said this at just the right time.
Since she said it at just the right time, there really wasn't anything that I could say to refute this.
But the way that Rose was saying this, it really seemed like I was being kicked out of my own home…
I looked at Cecilia and Haley as well, but they were looking at me with the same looks on their faces.
It seemed that after they became mothers, they started caring more about their daughters than anything else. Even to the point where they could throw me out of the house if it meant keeping them safe.
Though it wasn't as if I was unwilling to do this if it meant keeping them safe.
It was just that I didn't want to be separated from my daughters for that long.
Still…since the three of them were looking at me like this, I really had no other choice.
With a sigh, I said, "Alright, I'll go."
The messenger from the Holy Empire was the first to react this time as he stepped forward to hand me something, but I raised my hand to stop him before glaring at him.
The messenger couldn't help giving a gulp when he saw this before taking a step back with an awkward look on his face.
I just ignored him as I went over to my three daughters and said goodbye to each of them.
It didn't matter if they understood me or not, but I had to at least say something to them.
As if they understood me, all three of them suddenly looked sad and even seemed like they were about to cry.
My heart felt like it was being torn apart when I saw the three of them like this and I almost said…something that I shouldn't have said.
But before I could actually say this, there was someone that cut me off by saying, "You're going or I'll personally kick you out of the castle."
I couldn't help giving a gulp when I heard this before awkwardly scratching my head while looking at Rose.
She was the one that said this after all.

Since she said this, there really wasn't anything else that I could say.
The only thing that I could do was follow her orders or else if I were to be kicked out by her…
Well, it would be hard to recover after that.
