It was a Saturday and unlike the weekend where they could rest and play, their class had an extra lecture in the morning.

And that lecture ended an hour ago. Rather than going home, Ruby decided to meet up with a friend of hers from the Fashion and Design major, Kelly who wanted to discuss business with her.

Since it was her first business talk with someone other than her family, she was looking forward to this meeting. But who would have guessed that Kelly would bring her to some remote place?

Even if Kelly let’s say didn’t have money, couldn’t she have taken them to a street food stall? Or even go home. They could still cook at home and still chat. Why did she have to bring her to a place so remote?

If the bodyguards weren’t shadowing her, she would have thought that maybe Kelly was planning on abducting her for money. However, as Kelly’s friend for two weeks, she knew that the other was rich.

She wasn’t poor at all, so why was she doing this to her?

Kelly chuckled faintly when she saw the expression on Ruby’s face. She knew that the other was going to react the same way. After all, she remembered clearly when she chanced upon the restaurant as well.

She was suspicious, and then she doubted everything. However, her curiosity got the best of her, and in the end, she mustered her courage and took a bold walk towards the restaurant and she never regretted it.

Kelly patted Ruby’s shoulder as she answered, her gaze fixated on the restaurant that was coming into view and answered, "That’s the place. Trust me, you will definitely love it! I swear!" her tone was very firm.

Ruby upon hearing that, couldn’t help but think about her sister who had recently dropped a bomb.

Whenever her sister says trust me, there would be something amazing waiting to happen. Maybe Kelly should be trusted. It’s not like she would shed a layer of skin by checking the place out.

In the end, she hummed as she increased her pace, showing her determination to check the place out.

Kelly pumped her fists as she followed Ruby, eager to share this wonderful place with her new friend.

When the restaurant finally came into view, Ruby stood by the entrance reading the plaque of the restaurant; LYONHEART RESTAURANT.

’What a strong name!’

"This place is fine and has that seclusive vibe. We can dine here in peace without any worry of being disturbed!" Kelly explained as she pushed the door of the restaurant so that they could get in.

Ruby felt that it made sense when Kelly pointed at it that way, she couldn’t help but murmur, "It’s a beautiful place," complimenting the restaurant as she followed Kelly inside.

The restaurant had these refreshing vibes and the interior of the place really showed that the owner put a lot of details into the place.

There weren’t a lot of people inside, however, there was soothing music playing and it put people at ease.

"Indeed, it’s a beautiful place!" Kelly agreed to Ruby’s words as she searched for a table.

Ruby nodded as she looked around, observing the place in earnest.

The restaurant was quite beautiful and yet there weren’t a lot of customers, could it be that due to its placement, the restaurant was hard to find?

"Let’s sit over there, by the corner!" Kelly said as she pulled Ruby in that direction.

Ruby simply followed Kelly and before she knew it, she was sitting and looking at the beautiful menu which was written and made with care.

There were good dishes written down there and the prices ... looking at them made Ruby realize why there might be few customers in the place.

They were damn expensive. Not for her but for other people. After getting forced by Diamond to spend and not feel a pinch when paying, these prices weren’t considered over the top for her.

Besides, there were plenty of expensive places that she went to before, so this one wouldn’t make her be fazed.

Ruby made her order and so did Kelly. After the waitress left, the two girls started talking about the reason why they went to that restaurant in the first place; business.

Kelly opened her bag and took out a file from it.

"I managed to make a few designs. Just look at them and tell me what you think," Kelly said nervously as she passed the file over to Ruby, her palms sweaty.

Ruby nodded as she took the file and started opening it.

Inside there were several designs just like Kelly said, and these designs were part of the business idea that she and Kelly were going to talk about.

Ruby was majoring in Business Administration which meant that in the future, doing business would be her thing.

Her sister had greatly inspired her a lot and recalling how important it was for an individual to start early so that the benefits would come early as well, she saw no problem with investing in business.

Even if she makes a loss now, that would be a lesson for her. She would learn from her mistakes and make better choices in the future.

Clothes were very important to everyone. And nowadays as long as the clothes are designed and made to suit the taste of the wearer, there would be money rolling.

For example, her sister, Diamond, her love for clothes was something else. As long as she finds something that she likes, she would buy it and that was more so for local brands. She would be preaching every time she spends a lot of money buying local brand clothes, she won’t wear, ’I am supporting my people.’

Even if she doesn’t wear them in the future, the fact that she supported the brands and local businesses will remain a fact. And with how Diamond at times broadcasts her shopping sprees, that would be free advertisements for those brands as well.
