Chapter 519: Chapter 517: BUSINESS IDEA 2

There were more people like her sister. Even she had joined and was interested in clothes so much. Being an influencer had taught her a lot of things.

What she eats, wears and uses will always leave an impact on the people who follow her.

She saw that when she promoted her sister’s cafes. Many students in her class and university started following her, taking selfies and posting photos of the snacks and other things.

She even spotted a few dressed in the same way that she does.

If it was like that, what if she invested in a business or started a business where she could benefit more from it than letting other people benefit?

Those were her thoughts when Kelly talked to her about the business idea.

As long as she found it interesting and worthwhile, she was going to invest and see where it went.

She wasn’t a fashion major, however, if something is nice, it was nice regardless of the knowledge.

So, when she saw the designs, her dear friend worked hard to draw, Ruby found them very satisfactory especially when she saw the maternity clothes.

They looked refreshing and quite different from the maternity clothes she had seen before.

In her mind when she saw them, she thought of Diamond being pregnant. What would she wear if she ever got pregnant?

When she thought of those ugly and long clothes that other pregnant women were always wearing, disgust overwhelmed her. There was no way Diamond would wear that.

But what if the maternity clothes looked fashionable and pleasing to the eyes? Now that would be a different case.

Thinking like that, she decided that no matter what these clothes should be made. Who knows? Maybe one day this year or next year, her sister might need them.

She had been hanging around those two guys lately. She might end up getting one or both of them as brothers-in-law.

She was getting older, so having a baby wouldn’t be a problem, right?

She just hoped so.

"I love them, especially these!" after going through the designs, Ruby looked at Kelly and pointed at the designs she fell for most.

When Kelly saw the designs that Ruby loved the most, she couldn’t help but look at her with confusion.

"Maternity clothes?" she couldn’t help but ask to be sure.

Honestly, when she drew those designs, it was just for fun. After all, to gain momentum in the fashion industry, it was always best to target the female audience – the young ones (preferably 18-25 years). These people were at an age where they liked dressing up and looking good.

As for pregnant women, it was very hard to dress these people accordingly. Moods and temperaments usually determine what she would want to wear when the day starts or ends.

Ruby seeing her friend’s confusion, began to explain to her why she liked those designs the most. It was only after hearing the explanation did it dawned on Kelly.

"You really love your sister, don’t you?" she asked smilingly, envy in her eyes at the thought of Ruby’s sister.

Who didn’t know Ruby’s sister?

She was a famous influencer and internet star that even rivaled proper celebrities.

It wasn’t about her popularity that made her feel envious but the bond between siblings. It was visible that Diamond despite the fame and money, loved her sister a lot.

Most importantly, she didn’t use her younger sister but gave her free rein. As Ruby’s friend, she was lucky enough to hear from Ruby the wonderful life lessons Diamond gave Ruby when she started university.

If only her older siblings were like that and saw things like Diamond, life would be better.

Ruby’s eyes sparkled when she heard her sister’s name.

How could she not love her?

She wasn’t perfect, but she was someone who knew to right her wrongs and return to the right path. Although she was once lost, what she loved about her sister in the years she refused to return home. When she was sick with that rash, she never forgot to send money back home.

Her sister might have been spoiled from a young age and she had suffered quite a lot because of that in the process. However, her sister when she started working, had never forgotten them.

Diamond sent her to school. She was the one who paid for the tuition and everything that she wanted in school. With a sister like that, even if she wanted to hate, how could she possibly do that?

Diamond was a gem, the kind she would always pray to have in every lifetime if there was ever such a thing.

When talking about Diamond and the love of siblings, the food was delivered, and the girls thanked the waitress with smiles on their faces.

The food looked luxurious and seemed worthy of its price.

With food in front of them, the girls being girls didn’t forget to snap photos of the food first before digging in.

The food was delicious and as Ruby ate and enjoyed it, she couldn’t help but think about her sister.

’I will definitely bring Diamond here when she returns!’ she vowed earnestly.

Diamond loved good food. And as long as the restaurant knew what it was doing, as long as she loved it, she was willing to promote the place for free and frequent it often.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the restaurant, a young man wearing a chef’s uniform was looking at the two girls happily chatting as they ate their food with a smile on his face.

Seeing him smiling like that, another young woman couldn’t help but take another look at the girls eating and suddenly asked, "You know those girls?" her voice tinged with curiosity.

The young chef turned to look at the other and replied with a smile, "I know one of them. She is becoming popular on the net. A good seed!"

The young woman upon hearing that narrowed her eyes as she looked at the girls.

They were both pretty, and it was hard to pinpoint which one of them could be using her beauty to lure people and men like the chef to follow them.

"But I am a huge fan of the sister. She is the real deal!" the young chef added with a chuckle as he returned to the kitchen, leaving the young woman in a state of confusion.
