Chapter 527: Chapter 525: GAEL SIMPSON

" ... You are the heartbeat in my song. With you, I know where I belong ...."

Diamond’s new ringing tone sounded as she was sleeping soundly on the bed, her soft snoring the other noise being made in the room.

Hearing the familiar and yet unfamiliar ringing tone, Diamond drowsily opened her eyes.

It was one of the five songs she had sung for her album. The song still sounded new in her ears every time she heard it.

After returning to the hotel around 3 am, she didn’t go to sleep right there but had to check a few things first. As a result, it was only around 4 am that she finally went to bed.

’Who is calling and what time is it?’ she pondered as opened her eyes, darting her eyes around the room until her eyes landed on the wall clock.

09:26 am.

Upon seeing the time, Diamond’s drowsiness all vanished instantly.

Since when did she ever wake up that late?

That was simply something new. She felt embarrassed for herself.

"Andy! Who is calling?" Diamond asked, her voice a bit hoarse as she yawned, her eyes darting in the direction where her phone was.

It was simply too far for her to reach out of it now. She was too lazy despite being not that sleepy anymore.

{Mother, it’s an unsaved number. However, from what I have seen, it belongs to Gael Simpson, Grace’s son. The one she wanted to match you with!} Andrea gave a response.

Upon hearing that, Diamond sat up straight, shock in her eyes, as she wasn’t expecting this person to call her.

After speaking to Grace days ago, she heard nothing from both mother and son and just pushed it out of her mind. But who would have guessed that the son would call?

"Is it a video call or voice?" she asked, hesitant about what to do now that the other was calling and she couldn’t just decline the call for no reason.

{It’s a voice call!}

Upon hearing that, she heaved a sigh of relief before instructing, "Answer it and put it on speaker. I need to get ready!"

{Sure.}

With that, the call was answered and a second later, a rich male voice very pleasing to the ears sounded in the room catching her off-guard, she dumbfoundedly stared in the direction of the phone wondering to herself, ’How could one’s voice be so damn good?’

When it comes to the things that she likes about a man. These three couldn’t be forgotten. Visuals, body and voice.

A man who was qualified to stand by her side was someone with a handsome or cute face. She should find the face very addictive to look at. It won’t matter if he is rich or poor. She could afford to raise him if she was serious. So why bother about money though money was important?

He should have a good body and be taller than her. She wanted someone who could take care of his body. He didn’t really need to be muscular or lean, and so forth. But knowing how to take care of one’s body was a bonus.

She had been taking care of her own, so why should she go for someone who wasn’t serious about his health?

And lastly, the voice should be good to listen to.

However, just because she loves good voices doesn’t mean that if a person is not good-looking but has a nice voice, she would go for him. Why should she do so?

Anyway, just listening to his voice, she couldn’t help but wonder how handsome he was. He should be good, right?

She couldn’t help but wonder.

Nonetheless, the visuals could wait. She still needed to chat with him and listen to what he had to say.

"Hello, it’s me, Diamond. Who are you?" she asked politely.

Since she wasn’t given Gael’s number and wasn’t supposed to know who he was, she pretended like she didn’t know who he was.

[Oh! Thank goodness it’s you!] a happy exclaim came from the other side, making her smile involuntarily.

How come this person was a bit funny?

Affected by his tone, she couldn’t help but answer, "Did you think that you got the wrong person?"

[Haha, it might be possible. My mother loves to tease me a lot. I am Gael, by the way. My mother is Grace. You should have a recollection of her,] a helpless tone sounded from the other side.

Diamond stifled her chuckle, just imagining how helpless Gael should be. After all, he was probably one of the few sons out there with a mother pushing him to date a girl who wasn’t monogamous.

"I remember Aunt Grace. She is a nice lady. I didn’t expect to hear from you," she teasingly said as she climbed down the bed, ready to have some work done.

[I was supposed to contact you earlier, but we got busy at work, I just found time now. I hope that I didn’t disturb you!’]

"No, it’s fine. Are you free now?"

[For just a moment. I just wanted to contact you first and let you know that when I have time, I will make a proper call.]

Diamond’s lips turned upwards upon hearing that. How could he be a gentleman?

"Um. Sure. When you are free, do contact me. I guess that we are both busy people!" she chuckled lightly recalling how busy her days would be until she returned home.

[I will surely do so. But you won’t mind if I sent texts during periods, right?]

Diamond’s brows corked when she heard that, finding his question very interesting.

"I won’t mind. As long as I am free, I will respond."

The two of them chatted for a bit longer before the call ended. Before the call ended, Diamond heard Gael being called over, and the language seemed foreign. She didn’t know where Gael was but she knew that he was definitely out of Athary.

Her curiosity once again got piqued.

Just what kind of son and a person was he?

Was he as handsome as his voice or there were surprising things for her to see?

After all, there would be more issues with him if his mother ended up resorting to such methods of finding him a girlfriend.

Unfortunately, before she could have thought of looking into him or asking Andrea about him, another call came in.
