Chapter 532: Chapter 530: MR. KWAN

Two hours later, Diamond was alighting from the car wrapped in a fur coat and a fluffy scarf.

Who would have guessed that the weather would abruptly change and it would be snowing?

She thought that the weather was changing for the better, but alas, it just did the opposite.

Feeling like bragging about her winter clothes since it won’t be winter in Athary until June, with many months to go, she picked her black fur coat and a matching scarf. When would she be able to show off if not now?

Diamond looked at the large building in front of her and suddenly thought of her warehouse.

Wasn’t the difference between warehouses a bit too much?

Thankfully, Mr. Kwan didn’t know about her warehouse, otherwise he would feel like he won something over her.

She hated losing a lot.

She wore a smile on her face as she spotted Mr. Kwan, the man she butted heads with at the auction a while back.

It was good to see him again.

Mr. Kwan smiled as he walked towards her so that they would meet halfway, saying, "I wasn’t expecting you to come after not hearing from you for a while. It’s good to see that you fulfilled your promise!"

Diamond, upon hearing that, grinned further. She had indeed forgotten about the man until she saw a brand of noodles which reminded her of Mr. Kwan’s business.

It was only then that she remembered that there was someone like him and why not do business with him?

At least, he was someone that she knew. He wouldn’t dare play tricks on her after all the torture he went through when dealing with her back then.

And that’s how she ended up here.

However, she didn’t dare let those thoughts out as she smiled at Mr. Kwan, responding, "Hahaha. I never go back on my words. Now that I am almost done with the other things, I can freely chat with you and get some business done!"

Mr. Kwan, upon hearing that, beamed as his eyes squinted.

After tasting her prowess and powerful bank card, how could he not be happy to do business with her?

The two were like foxes, thinking their schemes inwardly, while on the outside, they were like best friends who had known each other for a long time.

Diamond really liked how Mr. Kwan welcomed her. She was more enthusiastic to do business with him.

Mr. Kwan’s business was food-oriented, and he owned a popular brand that most of the people in Gesalsi eat at least every single day. That’s how large his business was.

There should be a reason for a business to continue growing, right?

It should be providing the customers with great quality service. If customers don’t get what they asked for, they tend to boycott.

Besides, if the quality was bad, she would just not do business with him. It wasn’t like he was holding a gun to her head and forcing her.

Diamond didn’t want to waste time by going to the office and chatting nonsense when she could go around the warehouse and take a look at what was being stored.

She refused to go to the factory. Sometimes it was better to not see the process of food being made. She didn’t want to spoil her appetite and love for food.

As they toured around the warehouse, Mr. Kwan explained in detail to Diamond what was what. The shelf life of the food products and other procedures to be followed if she ended up getting interested in buying from him.

Using the cargo to send the goods would be much faster than using the ship. Besides, her country wasn’t anywhere near the sea, so wouldn’t she be an idiot to send anything by water?

Hearing that it would take at least a week for the goods to arrive in her country, Diamond found this pleasing to the ears.

Since the shelf life of the products was long, the food wouldn’t get bad or soiled before it was sold. So, she became determined to buy.

As for whether she would sell or not, wasn’t she there?

If they don’t buy, then she is going to eat the food slowly or donate it.

One way or the other, she needed to try her luck and see how it went.

At the end of the day, she ordered several boxes of noodles (cup noodles and instant noodles), frozen kimbap, triangle kimbap in different flavors, milk-cream bread, crackers, drinks, flavored milk, instant rice, and other kinds of snacks.

The thing was that she picked what she found pleasing and other snacks she had tasted during her stay in Gesalsi.

Mr. Kwan didn’t have everything that she wanted, but she could buy that from other places. It wasn’t a big deal.

At the end of the day, everything she bought from Mr. Kwan could make her open two convenience stores and still remain with more inventory.

Diamond wasn’t stingy when it came to money, so she paid in full and let Iseul be in charge.

However, she didn’t forget to remind Mr. Kwan kindly of the consequences of tricking her.

Mr. Kwan broke into a cold sweat when he heard her threatening him. Something in him told him that she wasn’t joking.

For her to be able to stay at that hotel as a VVIP. She wasn’t someone to be taken easily.

After getting assurance from Mr. Kwan that her goods would be in Athary by 16 March, since there were procedures to follow, Diamond left the warehouse with a smile on her face.

Mr. Kwan, seeing the entourage leaving, wiped the sweat dripping on his face.

After seeing the cars out of sight, he turned to his employees and ordered sternly.

"I don’t care if you work day and night, but make sure that the order is fulfilled, and all documents are done in time. We must send all this in time, otherwise ....." he didn’t finish, but the cold glint in his eyes was enough to make the managers shudder.

They might not be aware of what Diamond could do, but what about their employer?

He didn’t become the big shot he is today by being a vegetarian.

They knew what to do.

They could lament that it was going to be a hectic week for them. Thankfully, the customer was generous and paid everything in full without causing issues.

If they couldn’t deliver, then wouldn’t that show that it was their recklessness?

They still loved their jobs, so without wasting time, they hurriedly returned to work.

They didn’t dare provoke any parties.
