SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 551 - 549: HOME SWEET HOME 2
Chapter 551: Chapter 549: HOME SWEET HOME 2
"Garnet, what’s taking so long?" Ruby asked sulkily as she waited outside the terminal where Diamond was going to come out later.
Garnet felt her temples throbbing as she listened to Ruby. She had been asking this question for the umpteenth time and she had run out of words to say.
Indeed, it was taking a bit long, but who made her mistress cause a fuss upon return? Who made her too popular?
She had received a message from Andrea that they would be a bit late but never expected that the delay would last for an hour. Now Ruby was acting like a spoiled child.
"She should be coming. Let us wait patiently!" that’s all she could say at this point.
Ruby looked disappointedly at Garnet. How come she didn’t know anything?
Or maybe she knew but didn’t want to explain further. Then the question becomes, what was her sister doing at the airport for her to delay exiting and coming home with them?

The person in question, Diamond, was in the middle of finishing dealing with the customs issues.
Since she brought art pieces to the country, those two needed to be filed and whatnot.
As for her suitcases, they didn’t matter. After all, there were just clothes and nothing of greater importance there.
The painting and the vase delayed her a lot. However, it wasn’t a big deal. After all, from the moment she stepped out of the plane until now, the smile never left her face.
"You are our pride, you know!"
"Hehe, you have made a lot of people curious about us. Thank you!"
It seems that nearly everyone knew about her, and they couldn’t stop praising her. She who had started this internet thing in the first place to harvest love and attention from people, felt like she was walking on cloud nice.
She was in a good mood.
"Hehe, I am just doing what I love. I am glad to be of help to the city!" she sincerely said.
Frin wasn’t a big city, and it wasn’t that popular. If she could do something to make everyone remember what Frin was, then she would do everything to make it happen.
"You have a big heart. Keep up with the good work!" the staff cheered her. freёweɓnovel.com
Diamond didn’t stand on ceremony but accepted what was given to her.
After an hour of filing, the procedures were finally done.
She received her painting and the vase from the officers, and it was time to go.
Since her bags were a bit too many, the security helped her with it and she was grateful for their help.
On the way, Diamond chatted with the guards and laughed heartily all the way.
Those who knew her pointed excitedly at her while others took out their phones to record such a beautiful moment.
When Ruby and Garnet, who were worried about Diamond, spotted her. They both looked at each other, amazement in their eyes.
Just what was she doing?
Diamond didn’t know what her two sisters were thinking as all she could think about as she spoke her language was how nice it was to be back.
As they always say, ’home sweet home!’
While being escorted by the wonderful security guards, her eyes speedily scanned the people waiting for their relatives, friends, and acquaintances. She was curious as to who Garnet came with today.
Was it her sister or her parents?
Who came today?
As she was thinking that, she spotted Garnet and Ruby standing together and her sister seemed to be sulking.
Who wronged her baby sister?
Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the other.
On the other side, Ruby spotted her sister and couldn’t help but sulk.
How could she come out being so carefree after making them for so long?
What was she doing?
However, when Diamond, being Diamond, opened her arms as she smiled towards her, Ruby forgot all that instantly and found herself running towards the other.
Garnet, whose ears were itching from all the sulking, saw Ruby running towards Diamond as if she wasn’t the one swearing that she wouldn’t give in easily a few minutes ago; she shook her head helplessly as she started moving forward.
Was there still honesty among people?
She couldn’t help but wonder.
Meanwhile, Ruby’s dashing towards Diamond attracted a lot of commotion. Those who knew the sisters couldn’t help but scream excitedly, no longer afraid of being seen or gawked at by others.
Being able to see the two sisters in one frame was a blessing.
They had no idea that Diamond was returning to the country. So, meeting her even if it was seeing her from a distance, they were happy.
They had photos and videos to prove that.
Ruby ran straight into Diamond’s open arms, earning a giggle from Diamond.
Diamond picked Ruby and twirled around with her in her arms, making Ruby let out an endless fit of giggles, which made a lot of people look at them with different emotions in their eyes.
When had they ever seen a pair of sisters so close to the extent of playing like that in public?
After twirling three times with Ruby in her arms, Diamond stopped and never for a moment did she feel dizzy.
She didn’t remember the last time she carried her sister or played with her like this. It felt good. She couldn’t help herself.
"Huhu, sister, you ....." Feeling out of breath, Ruby panted and laughed at the same time. The smile on her face was very bright.
Diamond’s eyes squinted as she looked at her beloved sister and asked mischievously, "Do you like this present, little sis?" while flicking that forehead lightly.
Ruby grinned happily, despite being flicked, and nodded her head like a chick pecking on grain.
"I loved it, sis!" how could she not like it?
It’s been ages since her sister did that to her.
She was thrilled.
Diamond ruffled her sister’s hair before she looked at Garnet, who was looking at them with a smile on her face.
In her eyes, Garnet wasn’t a super bodyguard and a mere creation she helped make. From the moment she named her and gave her the last name, Perry; she became another sister.
That was why, instead of letting Garnet guard her like she was meant to, she had more responsibilities. Let her use those skills to make something out of life.
As she looked at Garnet, who had done so much for her and the person behind the success of the cafes, a smile blossomed on her face as she opened her arms towards the other.
Garnet, seeing what Diamond was doing, nearly ran away. She felt awkward at the thought of going through what Ruby had just done. However, at the same time, she felt warm, knowing that Diamond treated her differently.
Regardless of how she felt, she still moved towards Diamond and the other embraced her tightly in her arms. "Thank you for your hard work!"
Garnet, at hearing those words, felt that everything that she had done was worth it.
Recalling her former masters, her heart tightened as she thought of her former colleagues. It would be nice if they got lucky and ended up with her.
Their dreams would be realized as well, just like hers.
"Thank you for trusting me," she emotionally answered, recalling how all this wouldn’t be here if Diamond hadn’t trusted her to do that.
Without an opportunity to shine, a diamond would always remain a rough stone.
That was life.
