Chapter 564: Chapter 562: HAPPY BIRTHDAY – JEWELS THOUGHTS

Diamond managed to calm herself down after soaking herself in the lake water once again.

With the bath finally finished, she picked something casual about the closet and wore it.

She wasn’t going to the club until later, so there was still time.

Once she was done dressing up, she planned to go downstairs. Her family should be awake by now.

However, before she could go anywhere, her phone pinged again.

"Who is it?" she asked expressionlessly.

She had seen many birthday wishes from the telecommunications company. She didn’t want to see another message again.

{Mother, it’s a message from Wyatt. He said that he had just arrived. Where should you guys meet?} Andrea answered swiftly, relaying exactly what was written.

When she heard that, a smile blossomed on her face and responded. "Tell him to meet at the club later. He must tell them that he is my guest or show the invitation card. I will meet him there."

{Okay, I will inform him.}

After confirming who the sender was, Diamond happily went downstairs and met her family for the first time that day.

"Good morning, Mom and Dad!" she cheerfully greeted the elders, giving each a smooch on the cheek.

"Morning, darling!"

"Morning, dear. How was your night?"

Diamond beamed at her parents as she sat down, replying, "The night was blissful. And the day is even better," recalling the wonderful gifts she woke up to.

Her parents smiled gently at her, obviously happy seeing her that happy.

"Happy birthday, darling. You are growing each year," her mother lovingly said as she looked at her emotionally. She was a mother and seeing her daughter growing up should be making her emotional.

Diamond held her mother’s hands and said to her in a doting manner, "Um. Your daughter is growing up but will always remain your darling daughter," fully aware of how her parents treated her.

Her mother smiled when she heard that, relief washing over her.

After that, her father wished her a happy birthday, and the two shared several words before the moment was cut halfway by the arrival of the girls.

"Good morning, Aunt, and Uncle!"

"Good morning, Mon and Dad!"

"Good morning, Sis!"

The girls have arrived, and just look at how cheerful they are.

"Good morning!"

"Did you sleep well?"

The greetings were exchanged as the girls sat down at the table. With the four of them joining, everyone was now gathered.

"We slept well."

"Happy birthday, sis!"

The girls wished her as soon as they were done with the greetings.

"Thank you, girls. But where are my gifts?" she couldn’t help but ask as she looked around.

How could they wish her a happy birthday but not bring a gift?

When everyone saw her reaction, they couldn’t help but burst into laughter, finding her actions very predictable.

"You will get them. But not now. The day is just starting," Ma Perry said as she looked at her daughter.

Diamond, hearing her mother saying that, knew that she wouldn’t be getting the presents any time. However, she wasn’t saddened, as she knew that the gifts would come back to her eventually.

With everyone gathered, Aunt Janet started serving breakfast, and the meal was filled with laughter and joy.

Breakfast in the Perry house wasn’t something that took ages. In less than thirty minutes, the plates were all wiped clean and Aunt Janet was doing the dishes already.

When breakfast was finished, the majority of everyone in the house vanished to their rooms to prepare for the day. Meanwhile, Diamond didn’t bother going anywhere but slumped in the living room with her tablet in hand.

The party was going to start around 3 pm and last all night. She didn’t have much to doll herself with. It would take a short moment before she was done.

It was around 8 in the morning, and that left her plenty of time to play around and, in her case, check her social media.

Her fans should be sending their well wishes by now, she guessed.

With anticipation written all over her face, Diamond visited the GEM app first to see what her exclusive fans were busy doing there. And when she got there, her eyes started stinging once again.

The home page was filled with well wishes.

Some fans even edited videos and photos and sent happy birthday cards tagging her.

Diamond was so touched by this that she reacted to every person who posted. Her hands were pretty fast, so it didn’t take that long.

She loved the videos, which showed how she even started this internet career in the first place, and it all stemmed from the first banquet she ever went to. It was in Frin. She got invited by Cecilia and back then she remembered giving the birthday lady a gift of beauty cream.

It was also the time that she met with someone from school and ended up attending the reunion party, which she attended with Kian.

She could see her history and how she moved the ladder step by step. She couldn’t help but save most of these wonderful works and have Andrea set a folder for her on the app.

The folder would be accessible to every fan. They could view the videos and photos at will.

Diamond, who had received thousands of happy birthday messages, took several screenshots before logging into her Ioniq account.

When she got there, the first thing that she did was upload the screenshot and write a caption.

[DIAMOND (V): Thank you, everyone, for your good wishes. I feel really touched by all the effort you have put into celebrating this day with me. To know that I am not alone but surrounded by so much love makes me feel immense joy. Thank you everyone for your love and support. I will always love you and remember this.]

Not every person who followed her was registered on the GEM app. Only those who were tenacious and knew her well were accepted there.

She wondered how many fans would be motivated to pass the test and join the fan café.

After posting that, she started going through what other fans had posted and tagged her.

Since no one except her, and the admins could post on her pages. Some of them resorted to sending messages and tagging her.

Others left their messages in the comment sections, and she went through as much as she could.

As she read the posts, all she could see was the love of these fans and passersby of her and nothing else.

As for those who were using this moment to garner attention and fans of their own, she could only say that they were clever. And clever people were capable of surviving.

As content creators relying on social media to make a living, if you can’t take advantage of such free publicity, then what good are you?
