Chapter 620: Chapter 618: BRINGING WYATT AND FRIENDS TO THE FARM 2

Twenty minutes later, the group of six finally left the café, holding large cups of iced tea. It was so hot, so having something cooling was pretty much a must.

"After today, do you have any other plans?" Wyatt asked curiously, as the group headed for the TFC, a famous fast-food store which deals with fried chicken and other delicious foods.

Diamond now wearing a mask, although it was useless since she was so recognizable, maybe due to the several photos uploaded online, making others aware of where she was, didn’t look at Wyatt as that question was asked.

But rather remained focused on the front, her eyes darting around, checking the place out. However, disregarding what her eyes were doing, she heard the question loud and clear.

She responded once he was done. "Um. I wanted to talk to you about it. Tomorrow I plan to practice for the marathon. Do you want to join me? That’s if you don’t have anything to do?"

Diamond couldn’t help but ask. After all, the other might have made plans already. Although Wyatt’s job was very flexible, with him being a traveling vlogger with a lot of fans locally and globally. It wouldn’t be surprising if he was busy.

Vlogging wasn’t as easy as it seems. A lot of work would be required to produce the final video that everyone sees online. She was lucky because she owned a special broadcasting drone and there was Andrea alongside his numerous kids, who could deal with the editing part. So, she didn’t have any need to stress herself with such matters.

She didn’t know how Wyatt dealt with the whole issue, so he might be busy.

At the same time, she didn’t understand why someone with such a good brain would make himself look as if he was useless.

She knew that he came from a good family, and usually, kids from rich families were loaded. Even if they don’t take over the family’s business, it wouldn’t be hard to get a managerial position. So, what was he doing traveling all over the world and making himself look as if he was useless?

If he was useless, would he be able to own a share in Nolan’s business?

Anyway, she brushed aside such thoughts. Families like Wyatt’s should be the complicated ones where other kids were forced to hide their abilities, in case they offend the heirs.

It was great being a first-generation kid. She didn’t need to worry about fighting for an inheritance with others. The whole family was looking forward to her inheritance and not the other way around.

Wyatt wasn’t expecting to hear such a question, however, his eyes lit up as he looked at his other friends, who nodded at him.

"We don’t have much to do. We will accompany you. Is it possible to join the marathon as well?" he couldn’t help but ask curiously once his mind started working something out.

Upon hearing that, a smile blossomed on her face. "Wonderful! I will talk to Ms. Brown and see what she can do. But since it’s a charity marathon, then I guess anything goes!"

There was no way that they would reject other people from joining, right?

"Okay, great. Then what about after that?" Wyatt asked again, taking her by surprise.

What else did he want to know? She curiously wondered as she looked at him doubtfully. However, the other simply smiled at her, looking determined.

In the end, she could only answer, "If you want to play, then I might not have time to be honest. But if it’s serious, I might take out some time," being truthful.

Her schedule at the moment was seriously packed. So many things were happening at the same time, so it would be difficult to spare some time to just enjoy leisurely.

Wyatt nodded understandably before answering, "It’s fine, if you are busy then," seeming a bit disappointed.

Diamond felt her heart ache when she saw him like that. She couldn’t help but ask, "What? Is there something important? You just tell me and I will see if I can spare time."

When Wyatt heard that, his lips curled briefly, but the others did not see.

"You have heard about ZOOM, right?"

Diamond knew so much about the club, so she nodded her head and answered, "I know it. I am supposed to join it but have been too busy to do so!"

Wyatt’s face twitched when he heard that. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

"I am part of the club as well and there will be a race month end at the racecourse. Do you want to come and watch or participate?" Wyatt revealed what was going on to Diamond.

When she heard that, her eyes lit up. She had never watched a race or participated in one. As someone who received driving skills from the system, she could foresee how interesting the race would be.

Even if she got busy, there was no way she would miss such an event for anything.

Without wasting too much time, she responded, "You should have mentioned that early. I will make time for it no matter what." Her eyes were so bright and filled with anticipation.

Chris, Wyatt’s friend, smiled when he heard that. It wasn’t so difficult to convince her, after all.

With Diamond agreeing to participate, the topic started revolving around the race issue.

Diamond and the gang bought some food from TFC before heading out of the food court. They still had a journey to take, after all.

On the way to the parking lot, it was inevitable to be spotted. So, she ended up holding a mini-fan meeting. She signed several autographs and took several selfies before she was finally free.

They had parked in different places, however, that didn’t stop them from leaving together.

Diamond’s car led followed by five SUVs behind her. It was a spectacular scene which turned heads on whichever road they used.

To make communication easier, Diamond was given a walkie-talkie, and she came to know that everyone happened to have one.

By using these, the six didn’t get bored at all as they chatted merrily while Diamond led everyone to the farm with a smile on her face.
