SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 624 - 622: BRINGING WYATT AND FRIENDS TO THE FARM 5
Chapter 624: Chapter 622: BRINGING WYATT AND FRIENDS TO THE FARM 5
Mike, who had asked such a question, felt enlightened. He couldn’t help but ask once Diamond was done, as they were getting closer to the dam. "Diamond, let’s say I want to start a farm business. Do you think that it’s possible?"
And his sudden inquiry took everyone by surprise.
The other four guys couldn’t help but look at Mike in shock.
Since when did he get so interested in farming?
Diamond might not know what Mike’s family was into, but as his friends, how could they not know?
Mike’s family was in the transport industry. Although his family wasn’t in the top ten richest families in Frin, they were still a behemoth of their class.
So, to hear him suddenly speaking about entering the farming industry when he didn’t know a single thing about, it was quite shocking.
However, to Diamond, this wasn’t that surprising to the extent of doubting life. She was startled at first, as she wasn’t expecting him to say something like that. After digesting his words, a smile crept up on her face.
"Of course. I believe that as a human being, as long as you are determined, and have perseverance, you can do anything. Other people have talent, a gift and others just persist. Of which I believe that those who persist might surpass those with talent.
So, if you are really interested, then go for it. Of course, just because you want to do it doesn’t mean that you can do it. Learn about it and gain more knowledge. Don’t just jump into it just because you see me doing well."
She was someone who started a farming business without too much knowledge. With time, she learnt and until now; she was still learning.
With more people taking on farms and utilizing them, Diamond was certain that the people would never go hungry in the future.
When Mike saw that Diamond wasn’t against the idea and was actually encouraging him, he felt relieved inside.
Only he understood that not all that glitters wasn’t gold. In his twenty-something years of age, he had never achieved anything that was worth being praised by his family.
In fact, there was no need to. Being an illegitimate child, just like his other friends, their fate wasn’t as great as what the other people out there think of them.
They couldn’t do better than the legitimate children if they wanted to live well. Since the family provided them with food and everything else that they wished for, what would be the use of competing with others?
With that kind of thought, they just grew up living life to the largest and before they knew it, they were adults. And adults who knew how to indulge. Although they partake in other business ventures, since they couldn’t always rely on adults about everything, it wasn’t that great.
They were still ants when facing other scions like their siblings.
Besides, for himself, he had never found something that he truly felt attracted to. Sometimes when doing business, having a passion towards that helped seriously. He had seen how Wyatt was happy when traveling, vlogging, and other things.
As for himself, it had been quite frustrating, but now he suddenly found out that farming might not be a bad idea. Of course, it wasn’t because of other reasons but mainly because Diamond had given him insights which enlightened him.
Rather than doing something like earning a lot of money and becoming a target of his brothers, he would rather try something that they won’t think was a future to it. In the process, be part of the community which ensures the happiness of others.
There was that kind of happiness associated with giving willingly, after all. Whether the project fails or not, at least he would have tried.
"I will learn about it after this. If I have any questions, do you mind if I seek you out?"
Diamond smilingly shook her head as she looked at Mike, who looked more pleasing the more she looked at him. frёeweɓηovel_coɱ
"Just send a message. As long as I am free, I will answer you."
There was no need to turn down someone who wanted to achieve something. The joy in helping others achieve their dreams was pretty much satisfying.
The rest of the gang was still shocked by the turn of events. However, deep down inside their hearts, they were quite happy. Their friend might have found his calling. Who knows how it would turn out?
The gang finally reached the dam, and it was very big.
It’s been a few days since the water seed was thrown into the dam and the water levels were quite promising.
"Will the dam be used the way the other dam is being used?" Mike, being interested in this industry, had several questions to ask. And Diamond was happy to answer them.
"Um. This will be our source of water for everything here. It will be used to irrigate the crops since we can’t always rely on the rain. Since I plan to grow crops all year round, irrigation systems must be in place. On top of that, I plan to raise some fish which would be sold in the future."
"But would that work? After all, I can see that you have built the dam walls?" Mike couldn’t help but ask curiously.
"Don’t worry. So, what if they are walls? Just don’t learn much from me when it comes to other things. If you are interested in doing the same, then learn elsewhere," she couldn’t help but say when she came to this point.
The majority of things she does at the farm couldn’t be understood by common sense.
She planned to add what should be added to the water just to raise the fish. At the same time, the same water would be used to irrigate the crops and the other to supply the staff (drinking and other uses).
That was why there were special systems to be added in place to filter the water. And also, why there were two tanks in place? One for irrigation and the other for daily use.
The tank for daily use would have other things added. That way, whatever water problems that are caused by the fish and the seaweeds wouldn’t affect the water.
She couldn’t explain in detail to Mike, as she would have to explain other things as well that would result in people wanting to know about the system. She couldn’t do that.
Thankfully, Mike didn’t continue with the topic.
