SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 886 - 884: TALKING ABOUT BOYS 4
Chapter 886: Chapter 884: TALKING ABOUT BOYS 4
"Sis, you just met him today. How could you say that?" Ruby just couldn’t get it. She wanted to know more.
"Hehe, darling. We might have not known each other for a long time, but I trust my eyes. If they don’t work, I simply ask Andy to do that in-depth search for me."
"So, what about him do you like?" she was curious to hear this answer, to be honest.
Diamond squinted her eyes as she thought about what she liked about him.
"When I first saw him, I loved how tall and handsome he was. I am a sucker for good-looking people, so I kinda liked him. But then, as time goes on, I realized that he is quite a good catch," Diamond couldn’t help but speak with melancholy, which made Ruby frown, wondering what her sister was on about.
According to her words, Diamond and Waylon had met several times, right?
"Sis, have you met each other before tonight?"
Diamond looked at her with a smile and nodded, "Yes, we have."
Ruby shook when she heard that. Luckily, Diamond didn’t notice as she shifted her focus to the gifts while continuing.
"I first saw him during the time I raced at the club. He was a spectator, and I liked him a lot but alas, I heard that he was taken," she said sighingly recalling how that had devastated her.
When Ruby heard that, she couldn’t help but cool down.
There was one thing that she knew about Diamond. She would never wreck anyone’s relationship.
"I was sad when I heard about it but I cooled down after a moment. How could such a fine young man not be taken?" she said with a laugh and Ruby couldn’t help but be enthralled by the story.
"So, what did you do?"
"Hehe, I just let it be. Out of sight, out of mind, fast forward to a few weeks ago. In fact, the night before Gael visited. I went to look for you but you were busy. You remember it?"
Ruby nodded her head, a foreboding inkling overwhelming her.
"I was a bit hungry, so I looked around until I spotted a hidden restaurant."
Boom!
Ruby’s heart pounded like crazy when that was said.
Could it be that she was the force that made those two meet again?
What kind of bad luck was this?
"I wanted to check the place out, but who would have known that I would come across a crazy scene?"
She then narrated the breakup scene vividly. It made Ruby feel pity for Waylon.
Just picturing the kind of state that he was in and how he felt saved by Diamond’s intervention. She was starting to understand why Waylon fell for Diamond.
If she was the one in such an embarrassment state and someone saved her. She might fall for that savior. It was normal.
Suddenly, she no longer felt butter at all.
Fate works in mysterious ways. With how well Diamond’s life was getting. She could tell that her sister was a heaven-beloved daughter. She was like the main protagonist and her halo wasn’t a joke.
Since she and Waylon weren’t fated, she might as well let him go for good and focus on those who love her the most.
"I felt like that was my chance. He was now single. So why should I keep it in?" Diamond said exaggeratedly and Ruby burst into laughter, imagining the crazy things that her sister might have planned just to be with him. But then, what could Diamond do when she was so busy?
Diamond didn’t add the part where she and Waylon had dinner and fooled around. She simply told Ruby that she invited him to the concert and was happy that he had come.
"I didn’t know that you knew him!" after explaining her side of the story, Diamond shifted the topic to Ruby.
Ruby chuckled faintly when that was said. "Hehe, he is a friend of a friend." And didn’t dare reveal the fact that he was the guy who made her cry.
She didn’t want to mess with the guy her sister had targeted or be on bad terms with Diamond because of a guy.
"Oh, is that so? Your friend, is it the one who had been looking at you as if he wanted to devour you?" Diamond asked, her eyes squinted as she looked at Ruby.
She might have been busy with her own things, but for a brief moment, she had seen that friend looking at Ruby in a way that made her suspicious, but since Ruby is a grown-up girl, she didn’t ask.
However, now that they were at the topic, she couldn’t help herself but ask.
Ruby smiled shyly at being exposed like that. Was Sean’s love for her that open?
"Hehe, tell your sister about him. Who is he? What does he do?" Diamond asked urgingly, curious to learn more about Ruby’s suitor.
Ruby, seeing her sister’s curiosity, knew that she would never be able to run away from this. So, she started narrating her story without giving all the details, lest Diamond get angry and try to punish the girl who irked her at her birthday party.
Diamond was surprised to learn that Ruby had known Sean and Waylon since March. That was a lot of months, to be honest. Nonetheless, she was happy to learn that her sister made a lot of friends and even befriended kids from the top six families without her influence.
Ruby was capable and, as a sister, she was very proud.
Ruby excluded any part where she had a crush on Waylon and focused mainly on Sean.
"He seems to be a good guy but are you certain that he is no longer playing around? What if he just wants to pursue you for the sake of conquering?" Diamond was a bit worried after listening to Ruby.
Ruby nodded as she acknowledged her sister’s worries.
"I am worried about that as well. That’s why I have been keeping him at bay."
"Then, do you like him?"
"Like, maybe, but love, not yet."
Diamond beamed when she heard that and looked at Ruby with approving eyes. "That’s good. Love isn’t something easy that we should just give to anyone. We are allowed to like as many people as we want. The moment you love is the moment you lose a lot.
So, I advise or rather encourage that as long as you aren’t certain, then maintain whatever you have. You wouldn’t want to be hurt or be used."
It wasn’t like she didn’t want Ruby to date, but she didn’t want her to be hurt or used by a guy. People tend to play games, corrupt other people’s daughters and then dump them after getting what they want.
"Don’t worry, sis. I haven’t planned on dating him just yet. I will continue to see what is he like and if I like him more, maybe give him a chance," Ruby said reassuringly.
Right now, her heart ached and didn’t have any mood to date anyone. Besides, it would be unfair not just to Sean but to her if she dates him right now. That wouldn’t do.
With such an interesting topic to talk about, the two sisters continued with it, but without talking about Sean and Waylon but speaking in general until all presents were unwrapped and categorized.
The letters were put on one side, the teddy bears, flowers and others.
She planned to read the letters at a livestream one day. As for the other gifts, she either put them in her storage ring or in places suitable, like the closet, or vases, for the flowers.
The two sisters helped each other with that chore, and when they were done, Auntie Janet was already awake and ready to start work for the day.
Ruby, at that moment, was a bit tired. So, she retired for bed while Diamond went to her room, where she changed into her sports gear, took out the drone and started a morning broadcast while taking a morning jog.
"Good morning JEWELS," she started by greeting the fans as she did warmups while listening to Andrea informing her of the important comments from the fans.
"I didn’t sleep. Got home late and spent the next few hours checking on the presents you guys gave me. I want to say that, I was honored, and I loved seeing what you guys gifted me."
She thanked the fans for the gifts and they were quite happy in the comment section about that matter.
After finishing the warmup, she started jogging while giving a few announcements.
"In the days that follow, I will be busy shooting several endorsements which I shall share with you when they are ready to be publicized. All that wouldn’t happen if it weren’t for your support guys. So, thank you for your love and support always."
While jogging, she answered some of the fans’ questions as well as gave them an important announcement.
"This coming month, I might not be as busy as I was this month. So, I will be doing a few broadcasts for some of our programs. Don’t forget to send us interesting stories for me to share. Without your input, these programs won’t have any weight."
It’s been a while since she had a nice chat with the fans. She was missing it.
The fans were happy to hear about that and it could be seen that it was going to go perfectly well.
It was now a matter of when Diamond would click the LIVE button and give them a great surprise.
