Chapter 151: I Will Save You [4] โ€” His Broken Heart

The Spirits of Miraiโ€™s "parents" within her powers surged, intensifying her strength even further. The spear she forged suddenly grew larger.

And larger...

And larger! ๐™›๐’“๐“ฎ๐’†๐”€๐’†๐™—๐“ท๐’๐™ซ๐’†๐™ก.๐’„๐“ธ๐“ถ

Mirai did not know why, but tears streamed down her face as she poured her power into this gigantic construct of Demonic Souls and Chaos Spirits.

She thrust her hand forward.

"Abyssal Demon Magic โ€“ Fate-Piercing Demonic Spear of Entropy: Gรกe Bolg."

The gigantic spearโ€”over a hundred meters longโ€”sparkled with red and purple lightning. The skies darkened and crackled as demonic souls surged through it endlessly.

A weapon forged to destroy her belovedโ€™s monstrous form.

Mirai released it upon the world.

Like judgment from the heavens, it descended as red lightning.

The dragonโ€™s five heads panicked, roaring and attempting to stop the spear with countless arms, jaws, magic, breath, barriers, and psychic power.

But nothing worked.

Gรกe Bolg pierced through all obstacles, causing dozens of powerful, all-destructive explosions in its wake. The skies and ground trembled before its demonic might.

"No...!"

"STOP!"

"What is this thing?!"

"AAAHH...!"

"STOOOP!"

The five heads screamed, positioning themselves in front of the gigantic spear as they unleashed their reality-warping powers within the limited range of the Fantasy Field.

Suddenly a massive force began halting the spear. Ashes started forming at its tip...

They were attempting to convert the spear into ashes!

"No, if it ends like this...!" Pekorine cried, clenching her teeth. "Mirai! Push forward!" Her Spiritual Magic reached Mirai, infusing her with a little more power.

"You can do this!" Catrise cried. Her holy power enchanted the demonic spear, granting it an explosive new surge as a giant golden dragon coiled around it. Catrise donated her own protective aura for one final boost, risking her life. "Donโ€™t give up, Mirai! Do it for himโ€”for Lord Louis!"

"Come on, Mirai!" Helena said. Her Telekinetic Powers pushed back the reality-warping wave of corrupted Fantasium emanating from the Abyssal Dragon Tree of Ruinโ€”its blooming Authority "Ruin" capable of turning anything within range into ashes. "You can do this, girl...! Youโ€™re the only one who can now!"

"HAAAAH!"

Mirai screamed, crying and feeling excruciating pain throughout her body.

She wanted to stop, to run away and hide. She was afraid, sobbing, overwhelmed by agony.

But she knew she could not.

She could no longer keep running or hiding inside that lab, which had become both her shelter and her prisonโ€”her way to hide from...

From herself.

"YOU WONโ€™T STOP ME!"

The Abyssal Dragon Tree of Ruin laughed, pushing back harder. Thirty percent of the spear had already turned to ashes.

Mirai clenched her teeth, forced her hands downward, and unleashed everything.

"I have lived my entire life hiding, afraid of what I could do to the world, of the harm my powers could bring to others..."

"While everyone elseโ€”even those who raised meโ€”were afraid of me... Louis was different. He talked to me like a normal person, treated me as someone valuable, brought me to a room, gave me everything I wanted, and tried to make me genuinely happyโ€”for no reason at all..."

"Back then I barely knew him, and yet he gave me everything in exchange for one thing: to train with him..."

"Through that, I learned so muchโ€”how hard he worked, how much he pushed himself, how far he was willing to go for his people..."

"Louis, youโ€™re my hero...! So please...! Wherever you are...! PLEASE. Wake up!"

Miraiโ€™s voice echoed through the entire tree. Her spear responded to her emotionsโ€”growing larger, stronger, regenerating rapidly from the damage it had taken.

RUMBLE!

"NNNGH?!"

"W-WHA...!"

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

The giant draconic heads panicked as the spear pushed through their Authority. Their power began to weaken because someoneโ€”a part of them...

was beginning to resist.

"Mirai..."

"!!!"

Miraiโ€™s eyes widened as she heard his voiceโ€”deep within the corrupted Grievanceโ€™s body.

He was there.

"LOUIS!"

As she cried his name, the spear pierced through everything. The dragon heads tried to stop it but were decimated, exploding into ashes and scattering.

The spear reached the trunk and finally pierced the gigantic, malevolent tree, splitting it in half.

BOOOMMM!!!

The spear detonated on impact, dividing the tree into two. The upper half collapsed into the wastelands behind.

At the same time, Tisha and Niflheim nodded.

"We got it!"

A small thread of Spiritual Energy connected to Niflheimโ€”from her other self within Louisโ€™ Fantasy Heart.

"Now...! Letโ€™s open the Path!"

With all her power combined with Niflheimโ€™s, Tisha and her sword sliced through space itself, opening a path of rainbow ice across the heavens down to the exposed trunk of the Grievance.

Although it resembled dark, twisted, monstrous wood, deep within lay a shatteredโ€”yet still livingโ€”Fantasy Heart.

Through this connection, Tisha achieved the impossible: opening a road toward Louisโ€™ inner consciousness, which had not yet been fully assimilated due to the recency of his mutation.

"H-How did you...?!" Mirai gasped at the sight.

"This is Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridgeโ€”one of my Kingโ€™s most famous techniques, the power to open Gates and Paths to all parts of Yggdrasil!" Tisha said. "I merely adapted it into a sword technique! So goโ€”it wonโ€™t last long, Mirai!"

"I will!" Mirai nodded. She stepped forward into Bifrost as rainbow light engulfed her, propelling her through space and time.

When Mirai reached the end of Bifrost, she fell into a deep black sea and began to drown slowly. She swam, realizing the sea was incredibly heavy.

But through sheer effort, she eventually reached a shore of gray ashes that replaced the sand.

"Haa... Haa..."

As she gasped for air, she slowly stood and looked for him.

It wasnโ€™t hard to find him.

Sitting in the middle of this ashen, barren wastelandโ€”surrounded by giant dark red trees bearing eyes and dragon-shaped fruits sprouting from the arid ground...

A giant made of white glass, with half his face missing and most of his body slowly crumbling, stared at the floor in silence.

The giant, over a hundred meters tall, sat in a fetal position, clutching his legs tightly as cracks spread across his form.

Dark red roots grew around him, slowly attempting to destroy his body.

"Heโ€™s here..."

Mirai steeled her resolve and walked toward him.
