SSS Awakening: I Can Steal Attributes-Chapter 22: Introduction

Lexie introduced herself to the three of them first.

"I am Lexie, you may call me Lex if you’re comfortable with it. If not, then calling me Lexie is fine with me as well."

As usual, she had this warm smile that drew everyone in. It was a smile that seemed like she was very approachable and could be everyone’s friend.

In the outside world, such smiles were rare to see.

Desther wondered if she would be able to maintain such a smile once she started going outside of the shelters.

Well, only time would tell.

The next to introduce herself was the girl named Elena. She was shy and did not speak much. She has long black hair tied in a ponytail. She also had high scores during their previous exams.

She is the nerd of the class, according to her classmates’ opinion about her.

Desther could actually agree to those comments. However, what he observed differently about her is that she actually wanted to mingle and chat with the others but just didn’t know how to start a conversation or even respond in one.

In simple terms, if Desther considered himself a loner by choice, then she would be the opposite.

"Hi, I’m Elena... you may call me El... if you want," she said while keeping her head down. Her eyes secretly peeked out, wanting to see the reaction of the people in front of her. She eased up a little bit upon seeing that they did not seem to mind her personality.

The others nodded their heads to acknowledge her. Lexie shifted a little closer toward it as well.

The next to introduce himself was the guy named Noah.

Noah has a stocky build and is a head shorter than Desther. He has neatly combed hair while wearing a clean and brand-new outfit. One look and the observer would be able to tell that he came from a well-off family.

Noah was also the guy who was caught by Teacher Rosa bringing a gun before the awakening ceremony.

Desther wondered if he still had that gun on him right now.

None of them expected that they would be entering a dungeon today.

Desther himself did not bring his revolver. He was now lacking some bullets after the last expenditure. There should be fewer than five left in his room, and he was not willing to expend them any time soon.

He already has Magic Bullet as his way of attacking to replace it, anyway.

"Hello. You can just call me Noah," Noah said, a little shy as well.

Although the gun was returned to his possession in the end, getting his gun confiscated was still an embarrassing moment that he could not easily forget.

Now, he would unconsciously think that everyone is laughing at him every time he speaks.

Secretly heaving a sigh of relief upon seeing that none of them laughed, Noah, as well as the two girls, looked at Desther, waiting for him to reintroduce himself as well.

He nodded his head and simply said, "Desther."

The three looked at him silently, expecting him to add more.

Lexie was about to interject when Teacher Rosa finally finished calling the names of the remaining group.

"I will give you guys another hour to familiarize yourself and strategize. After that, we will go to inventory once more so that you can get some basic equipment that you can use."

As she said that, Teacher Rosa handed each group another set of papers.

Upon looking at it, Desther and the others realized that it was actually information regarding the Group-type dungeon that they were about to enter.

From the paper she provided to them, Desther could tell that it was well prepared and quite meticulous.

Aside from the basic map, she also listed the monsters present inside, how to counter them, how to track them, and many other valuable tips that they could definitely use.

From the looks of it, Teacher Rosa really does seem to value her students’ lives.

Anyway, the four of them began to strategize as they read the paper provided by Teacher Rosa.

So that they could improve their cooperation, the group also decided to share some basic details in regard to their Awakened Talent.

Lexie’s Talent was already made public, so they knew the basics of it. However, Lexie still decided to tell them about it again.

When they went outside the dungeon last week, during the questioning process, they were also asked what kind of Talent they have awakened.

Of course, since this involves an Awakeners’ private information, they were not encouraged to reveal everything but just reveal the most basic function of it.

For example, although everyone knew that Lexie had a B-Grade Speedster talent, none of them were aware of the specific details about it.

Does it have any skill? How did it affect her attributes? If there was a skill, would she be able to sustain it? If so, for how long?

Such were the questions that involved an Awakeners Talent.

Unless necessary, students were actually encouraged not to reveal the specific details of their Talent.

Elena revealed that her talent did not give her any skills, but it enhanced her Wisdom Attribute by 1. She revealed that it was only an E-Grade Talent.

It was the same case for Noah, but it was his Strength and Vitality attributes that increased by 1 instead. He also revealed that his Talent was a D-Grade.

Desther then told them his talent involves physical enhancement as well. He did not tell them the specifics but revealed that he has awakened an attack skill.

The reason he made such an arrangement was obviously because Lexie was there. She had already seen that he was able to block a Tier 1 Warrior and the one who really killed the Giant Lizard Hatchling, so she would surely not believe it if he said that his talent was mage-related.

Anyway, he could still use Magic Bullet, but he just had to be careful about its range.

Desther also mentioned that his talent was at D-Grade as well.
