It only took two seconds for Damon to reach the outskirts of the city and then a couple of minutes to arrive at the dungeon entrance. Even from a distance, he could already see the hundreds of players gathered in the area. They had completely surrounded Aurora and Meira.

Damon could also see some sort of barrier set up, which probably did not allow anyone to teleport outside. But did it also not allow anyone to teleport inside?

He took a step inside, and his grin widened. It looked like he was able to walk in freely after all. Now there was nothing holding him back. They were clearly not going all out, but she was already at her limits. Right now, they were simply mocking her and taunting her. Damon’s gaze instantly fell on the guy who was standing at the front of the whole army, calmly enjoying her misery. It was none other than Bertram, the guy who had once been her vice-guild leader.

"A woman shouldn’t be so proud and stubborn. You should have yielded while you still had the chance. Did you think that you were some kind of fucking queen and I would always run behind you begging and pleading? You made me do all this Aurora. You left me with no other choice."

Aurora ignored him and focused fully on her skills. Beads of sweat dropped from her forehead, and even her eyes became bloodshot as she pushed herself to the limit.

"I have to give it to you. You look even more enchanting now after you evolved. What a figure. What a face. You are definitely worth all of this trouble." Bertram’s voice boomed loudly despite all of the noise coming from the attacks around him.

He clearly wanted to see the pain and dread on Aurora’s face, except she did not show any. Meira, on the other hand, was seething in anger. "Shut up, you filthy scum. Shut the fuck up. She will never be yours. You were never even close to being worthy of her, and you never will!" Meira spat, her voice trembling not with fear, but fury. "You were just a worm gnawing at her shadow, deluded enough to think it was love."

Bertram’s smug grin twisted. "Don’t worry, baby. I did not forget you. Don’t get so jealous and angry. I will never forget you. How about this? How about I treat you both the same? I will play with you both at the same time? Huh? Would you like that? I will fuck you both at the same time and come inside both of you at the same time. I promise my fiery, sexy goddess."

Meira’s body trembled in anger. The look on her face showed that she absolutely loathed the man in front of her.

"Aurora, stop. Fucking stop defending. Let’s attack this trash already. What the hell are you waiting for?" She screamed. She could not take the look on the bastard’s face any longer and wanted to burn him alive right after chopping off his little man part that he seemed to be so fond of.

However, Aurora did not respond to her. Instead, she continued erecting one barrier after another and strategically using her resources to protect her and Meira from the numerous attacks bombarding them.

She definitely could not continue doing this forever. She couldn’t even hold on for long, but she knew she did not have to. She knew any time now that he would be here.

Aurora only smiled at the thought of him. Even if she was in the midst of a situation like this, surrounded by pigs and buffaloes, she absolutely did not care. It was just another chance for her true love to rescue her and save the day, cementing his position in her heart yet another time.

Just as she was smiling and moving her hands as fast as she could, all of a sudden, she froze, and her eyes started twinkling like stars. "He is here." She mumbled sweetly as a loving smile appeared on her lips. Right at this moment, she looked even more beautiful and angelic if that was even possible.

However, this only drove Meira crazy. "You idiot! You lunatic! You crazy psycho! That guy does not care about you! Just get it in your thick skull. How many times do I have to tell you? He is just using you for fuck sake. He will not be coming running to save us. He will not come here for us and willingly walk into a trap!" Meira panted, her chest rising up and down in anger.

But it did not matter. Aurora was no longer listening to her. She had already dropped her shield and was now running towards her right to no one in particular.

"No! Aurora, wait!" Meria shouted after her. But it was too late. The lecherous smile of the bastard in front of her widened, and she knew that if nothing happened, they were both going to really fall into his trap. "Fucker! I will take you down no matter what!"

Meira shouted, unwilling to give up until the last moment. Her entire body started burning in fire as an enormous fireball started forming in front of her, but just before she could launch it, a scream erupted from her right, where Aurora had run to.

Meira turned in shock to see what was happening when her eyes widened in shock. There he was, standing with a helpless smile, the familiar stupid face whom she had come to both hate and admire.

Damon had come! He had actually come!

He was standing right in front of her with blood dripping from his claws, and Aurora clung to his chest like a crazed monkey. "I knew you would come and save me." She beamed brightly like a happy little fool. She then, without any care in the world, tiptoed and even placed a kiss on his lips like nothing around them mattered at all.
