SSS Ranked Dragon King: My Innate Ability is Unbelievable.-Chapter 196: Get away from him.
Chapter 196: Get away from him.
Su Pings summons desperately attacked the skeletons and monsters to reach him yet even as their numbers plummeted in the form of corpses, under the skeleton soldier leaders commands, non of them dared to let anyone of them in.
By now, Su Ping’s body was covered in bruises and his blood bled from the corner of his lips and yet, he still remained immobile, his eyes were no longer dazed but looked a tad sad as he continued to be beaten by the Minotaur.
Instead of staring at the Minotaur, his pupils glanced upwards at the crystal illuminated ceiling, in his eyes, the crystals light seemed to bend, forming several silhouettes that looked down on him, each one them looked familiar yet distant at the same time.
The Minotaur who was assualting Su Ping soon began to frown, it’s monstrous gaze slowly being suffused with apprehension. It had been desperately trying to kill Su Ping, ever since the first hit, delivering death blow after death blow, but, each and every single one of his attacks seemed ineffective against the draconian in front of him. Worst of all, the injuries it had managed to inflict after burning through its stamina and strength, were healing before his very eye’s on the targets body.
It was a hopeless effort, the more tired he grew, the quicker the injuries seemed to heal, making his efforts hopeless.
The leading skeleton soldier turned around expecting to see Su Ping in shambles but the flames within it’s eye sockets trembled when it saw it’s supposed last hope gasping for breath like a spent mule, it’s body slick with sweat like one who’d ran a marathon in the blistering desert sun.
It became momentarily frightened and ordered some undead to aid the monster. Several skeleton soldiers at the center of the enclosure, moved to the minotaur’s side and brandished their swords before striking at the draconian.
CLANG!
Sound’s of metal striking against metal rang out, chilling the enemy leaders spine. His underlings continued to attack Su Ping while the Minotaur continued it’s futile efforts, but even with all of them, they could only leave fleeting wounds on the dark dragon king.
The leading skeleton soldier saw that Su Pings summons had almost made it through their feeble barrier, if nothing was done soon, he would lose all it’s assigned force’s.
It’s flame eye’s burned brighter as it commanded it’s soldiers to hold up their line of defense while he himself, rushed towards the center to aid it’s underlings, as well as the minotaur, to kill their enemy general.
For added measure, it requested the aid of several Lvl 2 rare tier monsters as well to join him. Since the minotaur couldn’t end the target on its own, it decided to go with more fists to finish the job.
" Kill!!!!" The skeleton soldier raised it’s blade and leaped into the air, aiming to hack down on Su Ping’s skull.
His blade descended like lightning, a dark aura surrounded it as the skeleton soldier unleashed one of it’s skill, it’s blade cutting through the air like a ravenous demon.
"..?!!!" But it’s sockets trembled when it felt as if something horrifying had suddenly locked onto him.
He heard a light whooshing sound right after.
Mid air, the skeleton soldier felt a huge burst of air or should he say, an unleashed power slamming into them. It was more like a bomb had gone off within the center of his make shift defensive barrier, sending everyone of it’s forces flying through the air. Most of them dumbfounded.
Out of everyone within his remaining forces, the skeleton soldier was the only one who witnessed the cause of such an devastating display of power.
It was a fact since there was no way he wouldn’t have been able to when the cause had emerged face to face with him.
Staring at the Wolf King that was currently glaring coldly at him who was in the midst of being blown away by the wind of her arrival. The flames within the skeleton soldiers eye sockets trembled far more than they had ever done so before. To it, that moment seemed more slower than he expected, his gaze was stuck on the Wolf King who continued to glare at him like a hungry beast on a leash who’s power was forcefully restrained, like a volcano waiting to erupt.
Her iris’s were blood red, her eyes trembling with rage, while her clawed hands trembled at her side’s.
BOOM!!!
Couples with the wind of her speedy arrival, The Wolf King also let out a burst of her own dense magical power, outwards like a blasting attack.
With one simple move, no one within the skeletons forces remained on their feet, all were sent flying into the air, unable to resist her attack.
" H-How dare you...." She said, her voice trembling with barely controlled rage.
" You useless insects!!! How dare you lay a finger on him!!!" She snarled before her figure turned into a blur.
The enemy forces who were had crashed onto the ground, in the midst of getting up on their feet, all felt their hearts skip a beat when her silhouette blurred as if she’d glitched out of existence.
But the next moment, they realized how gravely wrong they were for their forces began to explode into bloody mists one by one.
The Wolf King hadn’t been erased but her used a speed far greater than anyone of them could decipher. Even Su Ping’s summons were frozen in place by her overwhelming display of power.
The sight was simply too horrendous. The enemy forces, whether monsters or undead, each began to burst into bloody mists or shattered bones that rattled as they feel to the ground in shambles.
The Wolf King bolted through the enemy’s, tearing them apart before anyone of them could react, what Su Ping’s summons failed to do for so long was being done in less than seconds!
In the blink of an eye, all the skeleton soldiers forces were all destroyed without being able to let out a single gasp or sound.
The Wolf King stood amidst a bloody scene, her prestigious white fur drenched in blood while entrails and bones littered the ground all around her.
Her fangs were clenched, her body trembling as if she wasn’t satisfied with just this.
When her gaze landed on them, Su Ping’s summons hurriedly dropped to their knees and prostrated before her. They all began begging her to contain her anger and spare their pitiful selves.
The Wolf King didn’t say a single word, her cold gaze simply stared at all of them as she remained silent. She didn’t do a single thing and yet, every single one of them felt completely pressured as if they were chicks before a hungry beast.
Non of them, not the wandering wraiths, skeleton soldiers, nor the lesser vampires, dared to have thoughts of conceit because of her living status. Though she made sure to keep her aura suppressed, they all beloved in their hearts that the figure before them was without a doubt, a Lvl 3 unit, and not just any ordinary Lvl 3, but one who’s strength might as well be infinitely close to Lvl 4.
The Wolf King shifted get focused away from Su Ping’s summons when she heard footsteps approaching from the caves entrance.
Moments later, Emilia entered the cave with 2 zombie kings escorting her. Her face was pale and anxious as her blurry figure speed over with her vampiric speed.
" You left so sudden that I thought something went terribly wrong." She said as she arrived at Su Ping’s side.
" What happened, is he ok?" Emilia crouched beside Su Ping who was still silently staring at the caves ceiling.
" That’s what I would like to ask you." said the Wolf King as she turned to glance at Emilia, her frosty deposition thawing when her gaze landed on Su Ping.
She had rushed over the moment she smelt the distinct scent of her mates own blood. After their battle , she made it an important part to memorize the scent of his blood. She knew that in such a place, injuries were natural but when she continuously smelt his own blood, she knew that something wasn’t right.
Emilia hurried to check on Su Ping’s situation.
" Huh?" Her brows shot up with confusion after checking on him.
" W-What is it?" The Wolf King asked. A trace of worry on her face, Emilia’s surprised tone did nothing to ease her anxious heart.
" I don’t understand... He’s.."
" There’s no need to worry, I’m perfectly fine." Su Ping cut her off. He closed his eyes before opening them again. He sighed then slowly got back up on his feet.
" What’s going on?" Emilia asked with a frown. " Are you trying to tell us that you were completely fine from the very beginning. If so, then how come you got defeated!" Her brows furrowed tightly, her hands unconsciously clenching at her side’s.
She had been genuinely worried about him from the moment the Wolf King had left just after defeating the supposed enemy zombie king, which, honestly, had taken less time than she expected. Sensing the end of their battle, s
he had come over with the zombie kings, the forces they had been told to gather were currently waiting outside.
