Chapter 195: Magical Mastery increases once more.

Unlike the three monsters who possessed flesh, everyone witnessed the three skeletons bones light up in flames before melting at a rapid pace, turning into ooze in a short amount of time. Even the wandering wraith wasn’t spared, the ghastly summon shrieked in pain as the dark green flames devoured it whole like a ravenous beast that refused to let go after latching on.

Seeing this, everyone on the battlefield, even the victims behind, all felt a surge of fear withing their hearts, even Su Ping’s supposed summons began to fear the very creature they had admired. The wandering wraiths shrieks was just too much of a deterrent.

But out of everyone on the battlefield, one was quick enough to react in time. The leading skeleton soldiers gave out a hurried command to its underlings, urging them to strike at Su Ping together now that his attack had roughly revealed his location.

Since the battle wasn’t in their favour, it sought nothing more than to claim the head of the enemy general so as to weaken the moral of Su Pings summons.

Su Ping stood in place and stared at the hundreds of Undeads charging towards him, their numbers making them look like a white tide of bones and weapons charging at him.

" Protect his majesty!!!"

His summons snapped out of their stupor and reacted in kind. They all rushed to stop the undead skeletons but the skeletons proved difficult to stop due to their seemingly evident desperation. The leading skeleton soldier angrily urged all the monsters to join as well.

The monsters had no choice and joined in on the suicidal charge, the earth shook as hundreds of monsters of varying sizes joined in as well, struggling to break their way through the summons defenses.

Due to the enemy sides quickness to attack before Su Ping’s summons had the time to truly come together and stop them. The zombie kings forces were able to break through. A sizable amount of their forces charged blindly in Su Ping’s direction.

Su Ping sneered at the feeble creatures who knew nothing of their standing. A dark green flame burned atop both his eyes, since there was no need, he undid his illusion.

The instant they saw him, all the enemy forces became excited and basically pushed one another to reach and kill him.

Su Ping wasn’t fazed by their combined killing intent that would’ve shook the minds of most if not for the fact that he was the target.

His muscles tensed a d his body crouched down a little, lowering his center of gravity as he held his sword in a sheathed posture, as if getting ready to draw it in one swift strike.

The trembling earth, booming air and combined killing intent refused to deter him, his dark green flame eyes slowly squinted, becoming more and more sharper. A chill spread throughout all the undead within his gaze, even a few of his summons unconsciously snapped their heads in his direction as if they’d sensed something detrimental to their lives.

" Since I’m still a bit rusty, I might as well use you all as practice to hone my swordsmanship." A wicked grin emerged on the dark Dragon Kings face as his body tensed to the limit, as if he was a bullet in a chamber waiting to be drawn.

Just then, a huge monster burst out from the front of the charging swarm. The creature landed with a boom, shaking the ground before leaping once more at Su Ping, it’s eyes bloodred yet it’s accelerated heart beat and trembling eyes told one all they needed to know about it’s current mental state.

The creature was simply terrified to the point that it decided to strike out in despair, it had sensed a life threatening omen when Su Ping took his sword drawing stance and didn’t want to die, so it decided to strike with everything it had.

Su Ping who was in the midst of drawing his sword was slightly stunned by the creatures brashness, the wicked grin on his face grew even more but froze mid growth when he got a clear look of the monster that resembled a minotaur with arms raised as it soured through the air, approaching him like a descending meteor.

The Minotaur stared at it’s immobile target, the fact that it’s target remained still made it feel angered, thinking to itself that the target didn’t see it in it’s eye’s. Seeing the targets size that was half as tall as it, the Minotaur who’s strength was evidently close to Lvl 3, let out a blood curdling roar that shock the very air before landing down and slamming both bulky arms on Su Ping.

A dust cloud rose up on impact, the minotaur’s hands knocked Su Ping into the ground withing a visible crater.

"...?" The Minotaur momentarily froze when it realized it’s attack had connected.

In that moment, a pin drop silence enveloped the entire cave but it was disrupted by the Minotaur who began to desperately attack Su Ping who lay’d on his back in the crater.

The earth shook with each deadly blow, causing more dust to rise. With each strike that connected, the monster became even more excited, it’s bloodshot eyes glared at Su Ping, thinking to himself that it had been overestimating it’s opponents.

" What are you all standing there for?! Protect his majesty!" One of his summons shouted, snapping the rest out of their daydreams.

Su Ping who continued to endure the monsters attacks seemed completely frozen, his eyes dazed as he layed their in silence while being assaulted.

As His summons hurried to reach his side, the skeleton soldier leader refused to let this opportunity slip him by. He quickly rallied his troupes to form an enclosure around the Minotaur for the time being.

It had no idea how the monster was able to best their advisory but it didn’t waste time thinking about it, all it cared about was giving it enough time to eliminate the thorn in their side.
