Aren looked at the snake, even after taking an attack from his dagger, it still didn’t get injured, and that was a rare sight, this dagger was what he used to damage and slow down Geisha.

"Tch, you wanna be tough, let’s see how tough." Aren said while coming down, he unleashed a barrage of slashes with the dagger, each one ripping through space, and leaving extremely massive spatial rifts that immediately started a spatial collapse with the head of the snake at the centre.

Aren was so focused on seeing the snake get injured that he didn’t care about the fact that the rifts were pulling him in, he simply resisted their pull, the wyvern flew upwards, trying to escape it.

"Tch, come on, come on" Aren kept muttering as the space tears began pulling the snake, and finally Aren spotted a few scales rip off and blood followed, and then more happened.

The snake, seeing the situation that it was in, knew that it had to pull out as fast as possible, it yanked its head with all its strength and that alone managed to cause massive rips in its head, blood splattering everywhere.

The snake turned, and now its eyes were locked on a target, and that target was Aren, it was enraged, Aren was the first Awaken to genuinely hurt it. The snake lunged forward, but Aren flew away fast, he knew that even if he could hurt that thing, it was still far, far above his power level.

The snake saw him getting away, and then opened its mouth, and from its lower fangs came a liquid secretion, purple and steaming, there was no way Aren could dodge that, and he knew that.

"Shit ahit" He cursed, and tried to dodge downward, but the area that the liquid covered was too great, so he decided to try and cover himself, tendrils wrapped around him, leaving the wyvern outside as the liquid slammed into the wyvern and his cocoon.

Aren could feel the liquid melt through his shadow, and also start melting through his tendrils. He landed on the ground with a bang and immediately got out of the tendrils before the liquid got to him.

"Sheesh, that’s hot" He muttered, looking at the snake that was already heading his way.

"There is no real way for me to defeat you, so I’ll stall you." Aren said, he turned tail and ran toward the two people that had attacked the snake, running as fast as his feet could carry him.

The girl and the man looked at him coming their way.

"Shit, he is luring it to us" The man said.

"Don’t worry, I’ll handle it." The girl said and then planted her gun right into the ground, a stand formed under it. The gun charged up like a spaceship that was whirling up, loud engine-like sounds, and then a magical formation appeared at the nozzle and what followed was a powerful blast that ripped through the air, shattering the sound barrier,

It passed right over Aren and slammed right into the snake, knocking the head back with force.

Aren turned around, looking at the snake, he smiled and then summoned as many tendrils as he could, they all shot from the ground, reaching high into the sky, and then they latched onto the snake and instantly started pulling it down, the head slammed hard into the ground. Aren turned around immediately and looked at the man, "if you have something to do, then please try it now." He yelled.

The man looked at Aren for half a second, and then charged ahead, his metallic black arms increased in size cartoonishly until they were massive hammers for his use, he leaped into the air, reaching as high as he could and then swung down.

BOOM!

The head of the snake slammed deeper into the ground, a massive crater formed from the impact. The man leaped off and landed beside Aren.

"Who are you?" He asked immediately.

"Nah, there is no time for that, just fight, tell the lady there, I’ll handle controlling this monster, you two just deliver blows when you can." Aren gave instructions.

The man looked at Aren, he saw that Aren was no longer focusing on him, which meant Aren believed he would do what he had said, the man didn’t like that, but now was not the time for personal feelings, he turned around and rushed back to the lady to prepare.

Aren looked at the snake, its eyes opened again, and it rose its head from the ground, snapping the tendrils that had held it bound, it was filled with anger and ready to attack again.

"Sorry, but I can’t let you" Aren said and summoned his greatest soul weapon, the hammer, and the moment his hands touched the hammer, he felt the rapid increase of strength, but also the heavy pressure that was on him, his time with this hammer was limited, and if he failed with it, the best he could do next was to summon the giant and Caspar, those two remained as his strongest trump cards and he would only use them when push came to shove.

BOOM!

Aren leaped into the air like a rocket, putting a huge amount of distance between him and the ground. The snake looked up at him, and instantly lunged for Aren.

"Stay the hell where you are" Aren yelled and hurled the hammer through the air, it slammed into the head with so much force that the snake was thrown back down while Aren called back his hammer, he grabbed it with both hands, pulled it behind his head, "arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" He yelled as he swung down with everything that he had.

BOOOOOOOM!

The hammer slammed into the head of the snake so hard and loud that the shockwave it sent caused the ground to shake, it shattered parts of its skull, blood gushed out,

A smile formed on Aren’s face as he saw his attack work, but his happiness was short-lived, as the tail of the snake snapped through the air faster than he could react, slamming into his chest.
