"Oh, so you have the job of training healers. Do you have any students currently?" Roman asked.

"We have no idea, we’ll know after a month, even healers have to undergo training first," Anna answered.

Roman rested for a while with the girls before standing up, and now he could feel the pain of what he had done; his entire body was screaming in pain even more.

He hadn’t rested since morning, waking up, training, going to class, then training, then more training, and now sex, his body has had enough.

Roman struggled to stand up while the girls were still on the bed. Rae’s eyes were closed, and only Anna was still awake when Roman reached down to put his pants back on.

"Before I leave, I have a question about Mana control. What’s the best way to wrap Mana around your body to resist Mana pressure?"

"Mana pressure? Ohh...why do you want to know, Mana pressure is hard to master and control, so I don’t think you’ll have a problem with that, but wrapping Mana around your body for defense is what I know." Anna spoke.

"Thanks, I’m tired, so I’m leaving. I’m sure I’ll visit again," Roman said as he opened the door.

"Alright then, bye," Anna said with a smile as Roman left.

It was already getting dark when Roman arrived at the dorm. The first thing he did was go to the bathroom. Ava wasn’t in the room, so he put on new clothes, bathed, and returned to the room.

The bathroom was also empty, most of the girls were training, eating dinner, or at the library, only a few were at the dorm.

The bath was the most relaxing thing Roman had experienced, mostly because he was extremely tired. When he arrived at the room, he went straight to the bed, where he passed out as soon as he lay down.

An hour passed before Ava returned to the room to see Roman sound asleep. She had just finished training for the day, and her expectation was that Roman was waiting for her.

She was going to take a bath, then they would train a little and finally have sex. She was looking forward to it as she trained; she couldn’t possibly wake Roman up just because of that.

She decided to take her bath and when she returned to the room, Reina was standing in front of Roman.

Ava narrowed her eyes. "What are you doing?" she asked, pushing the door all the way open with her foot.

Reina turned slightly, barely glancing at her.

"Roman asked me to check on him. He said he had something to tell me."

Ava crossed her arms. "And you thought now was the perfect time to chat? Can’t you see he’s asleep? Were you going to wake him up?"

"What’s it to you?" Reina shrugged.

Ava stepped forward, her voice colder now. "This is my room. My rules. I can kick you out whenever I want. And Roman is sleeping so leave"

Reina’s expression darkened. "Do you hate all commoners... or just me? Also, this isn’t your room, I came to see Roman"

Ava didn’t flinch. "Honestly? You’re the only one who gets under my skin. So maybe it’s just you."

Ava let out a sharp laugh. "Scared? Of you? Please."

She stepped even closer. "Just because you’re an S-rank doesn’t mean anything, a commoner like you would only waste away or die on the battlefield, and when the dueling starts, we’ll see who’s number 1" Ava replied.

In the academy, the first month was mainly for general training, spell casting, and all, then the next three months would be rigorous training for when they’re sent to the Frontlines, but during that time, the students are going to be dueling amongst themselves to establish rank.

The ranking system continues all the way to class 3, each rank comes with its benefits, and being among the top 5 was the goal. Also, before the end of each class, a tournament is held among the three kingdoms.

The tournament is first held among the three classes to determine who will represent the Avalon Academy.

Ranks 1 through 5 are exempt from the first stage of this, which is Class duels, then ten mages from each class are selected, and among them are the top 5 from each class.

From Class 1 to 3 bringing the total to 30 mages, then these 30 duel themselves to bring out 10 mages, the class doesn’t matter, these ten then get to represent Avalon.

Same with the other kingdom and then, all three kingdoms participate to find the strongest mages in the kingdom.

It was a traditional event dating back years, and among those, Avalon had won most of the tournament. The tournament is held in different kingdoms each time.

For Roman’s current class, their first tournament would be held in Avalon, while the other two would be held in the other kingdoms when they would be in Classes 2 and 3.

Roman, who was asleep, was woken up by the voices he heard. He turned around first before opening his eyes and seeing Ava and Reina. At first, he couldn’t hear what they were saying as he was still sleepy, but one sentence caught his attention.

"You know Roman and I come from the same village, we’ve had sex seven times," Reina said in front of Ava.

"Sure, but do you know how long it takes to conceive a child? After this month is over, I’ll tell you when I’m carrying a child," Ava replied with a smirk.

Roman had no idea what they were talking about that led here, but he knew Ava didn’t like Reina.

"What’s happening here?" Roman asked as he finally sat up, he had no idea why or what they were fighting about, but he knew he had something to do with it.

"You woke him up"

"I came here to visit just like you said I should, then I found you sleeping, I was thinking about waking you up, but I didn’t, and Ava came in," Reina spoke.

"You didn’t, you were going to wake him up"

"Wait...you girls are fighting about waking me up, then what was I hearing about having a child and having sex?" Roman asked but both of the girls faced away.

Roman looked at both of them, still half-asleep and confused. "You two were seriously arguing over that, why?"

Neither Ava nor Reina said anything. They both had their arms crossed and were looking away from each other.

Roman sighed and rubbed his face. "Look, I don’t know what’s going on between you two, but I’m too tired for this right now. Tomorrow?"

Ava turned her head slightly. "You heard him, leave"

Reina scoffed. "Are you jealous of me being S-rank, or because I’m friends with Roman"

"Why would I be jealous of you?" Ava asked.

"You told me to come see you," Reina said, trying to stay calm as she faced away from Ava.

"That’s true, but I’m tired, so we’ll talk tomorrow," Roman replied as he wanted to lie back down.

Ava took a step forward, her voice quieter. "I thought we were going to train, you can’t afford to miss a day"

"We will," Roman said. "Just... not tonight"

Roman looked at both of them. "Alright. You two are obviously not going to be friends anytime soon, but at least try not to fight each other"

The room was quiet for a moment. Then Reina turned around, her tone a little softer.

"I didn’t mean to start anything. I just... I don’t like her acting like she owns you"

Ava looked over. "When did I act like that, I’m just helping him with training, maybe I should assist you too?"

Ava sat on her bed and looked away. Reina shrugged and walked to the door then she took a last look at Ava before stepping outside.

Ava smirked and then she turned towards Roman, who was staring right at her with his expressionless face.

"I didn’t start it, I was trying to get her to leave you alone to sleep"
