SSS-Ranked Skill in a New Filthy World-Chapter 145 Skills
Roman didn’t spend more than a minute, and he was already back to sleep. His body was still stressed, and Ava didn’t disturb him.
.
.
.
Roman’s eyes fluttered open, and he sat up before cleaning his eyes. He yawned, stretching his arms and neck.
He had no idea what time it was, but he wasn’t sleepy anymore, so he just sat up, but Ava was still asleep, which was the first sign Roman got, but still, he went on.
He was planning to train a little before morning. First, he pushed the door open slowly so he wouldn’t wake her up, and when he was out, he walked through the hallway without making a sound.
Also, before going down, he picked up an extra shirt because he knew it would be freaking cold outside, and it was.
Roman stretched his body once again and first he began jogging towards the training ground and around it to work up a sweat.
He was careful not to tire himself out since he had more to do; his main focus currently was his Mana control, and once that was out of the way, he would then start learning spells.
After jogging a few laps, Roman’s body started to warm up.
The cold air wasn’t biting as much anymore, and his breaths came out in short puffs of steam. His legs felt a little sore, but nothing too serious.
He stopped for a moment, placing his hands on his hips and taking deep breaths.
The stars were still out, and the sky had that early dawn look—dark, but with a hint of light starting to show, he’s been out for some time now.
"Alright," he muttered to himself. "Let’s work on control."
He walked over to another part of the training ground and sat cross-legged on the ground. He placed his hands on his knees and closed his eyes.
First, Roman just felt his Mana core and veins; he didn’t try to move his Mana or anything; he just sat.
After a while of steady breathing and focusing, he tried something else. At first, he moved his Mana and wrapped it around his fingers, just his fingers. It was no problem. Then, he moved to just his right hand. He moved his hand around, making sure he could do it.
Everything he did just required concentration, and he was top-notch. Currently, his main driving force was so that he could pass Victoria’s pressure sooner, and then she might actually train him.
Roman switched between his hands and legs and did the same thing for half an hour. It was fairly easy to do since he already knew what to do.
Roman raised his hand and imagined drawing a spell circle—not to cast anything, but just to project the shape. He had cast so many fireballs yesterday that he could draw the spell circle with his eyes closed.
For the first time, he was able to do it, but it flickered a few times, then faded.
"Tch..." He tried again.
This time, the spell circle appeared, blurry and shaky, but it stayed for a few seconds before disappearing again.
He tried for 30 more minutes before stopping.
"I’ll get this eventually," Roman said, standing back up, and finally the sky was slowly getting brighter.
’At the pace I’m going, I don’t know if I’ll be able to win the tournament, but I’m pretty sure I’ll put up a good fight, I should check on the hawk before going back’
Roman jogged towards the building. The academy was empty as everyone was still asleep; he didn’t hear a single sound as he approached the building.
Roman pulled the door open and looked inside. It was much darker inside than outside, but then he saw a pair of eyes staring at him, and suddenly, it moved upward and began moving towards him.
’Shit...how did it learn to fly’
Roman couldn’t close the door in time, his hand wasn’t on the door, so he just moved out of the door opening, letting the hawk outside.
The hawk zoomed past the door, flying upward. Roman watched as it flew away from the academy.
"Shit, I should have known that was going to happen, I thought it was injured yesterday, how did it healed it wings, well...at least I tried, I’m going to learn an actual binding spell before summoning again"
"I hope it doesn’t disturb anyone and just fly away, I should head..."
Roman heard a loud screech and looked up.
The hawk was flying above him, circling slowly. It flapped its wings a few times and then began to descend, gliding down gently until it landed right in front of him.
Roman blinked in surprise.
He had thought the hawk had escaped... but it came back.
The hawk stared at him. It didn’t move, just stood there like it was waiting for something.
Suddenly, Roman saw the screen in front of him and the next moment, just like how he learned his spells during his awakening, he suddenly had the knowledge of how to command the hawk.
[You have successfully bonded with the Screeching Wind Hawk]
[You can now share two of its skills]
[Hawk Eyes: Allow you to share the vision of the hawk for some time, for that time your own vision would be inactive]
[Vision Enhancement: Gain the visual ability of your hawk for a period of time]
Roman’s eyes widened a little; all of these were happening a little too quickly. First, he now had the ability to send the hawk back into the wild and summon it at will anytime.
Also, the knowledge of how the skill was cast in his head, Roman couldn’t help but smile, even though the skill was for attacking, it would definitely be good in the long run, especially for scouting.
Roman bent down and stretched his hands. In his head, he wanted the hawk to climb onto his hands, and without speaking a single word, the hawk began walking towards him and jumped onto his hands.
’Ohh, so this is summoning magic, and this is the smallest creature, imagine if I had infused more Mana, I would have summoned something that would definitely delete me from this world’
The hawk jumped down from his hands as Roman instructed, and then he placed his hands on the ground just like when he summoned, and a magic circle was drawn under the hawk, and then it vanished.
In the wild, summon beasts were different.
When a beast submitted to a summoner, when sent back, the beast wouldn’t engage in fights that might injure or kill it; their goal would be to survive.
And for the summoner, even without needing the beast, it’s a must to summon it at least once a week to feed it, also, the summoner would be able to send it their summon if it’s in trouble.
Mages can have different summonings depending on their Mana level and mastery.
’I’m still not strong enough to give it a name, at least now I have a summon...’ Roman began walking back to the dorm since it was getting brighter, at least now he doesn’t have to worry about the hawk.
’Yesterday my Mana capacity was at 160 after sleeping with both of those healers, I think they both gave me an increase of 25, I still have to find a good enough time to sleep with Reina, system’

[Agility: 35]
[Stamina: 82]

’Skills have been added to the system nice...my Mana is now 200, I didn’t sleep with anyone after those healers, wait, is it because of the summoning’
’My Mana increased by 40 because I bonded with the hawk, it’s a magical beast so it has a Mana core but how would that increase my Mana level, unless I can somehow use part of its Mana since it’s now my summon hence the increase’
’I’m not really sure if that’s the case, but it’s the only explanation I can think of, or Reina had sex with me while I was sleeping which is impossible, and my encounter to level up is still the same’
’If that’s the case then summoning a stronger beast and taming it would automatically increase my Mana level, that would be another way to go but too dangerous, I’ll stick to having sex for now’
As Roman walked back to the dorm, he could now see students at the training ground, and Ava was one of them.
He was done training for this morning, so he went back to his room to rest. In about 30 minutes or so, they would take their baths and start the day.
