Star Gate-Chapter 1063: Difficult to Determine a Victor (IV)
Chapter 1063: Difficult to Determine a Victor (IV)
When the small diagram of the eight trigrams appeared, the moon that seemed right in front of the people instantly vanished and reappeared high in the void.
The Divine Nation queen’s expression shifted radically!
“You’re... crazy...”
Li Hao had shattered his heart to extract its blood essence, solely so that he could seal the moon. Previously, the young man had been very noncommittal. He hadn’t lost his mind even when his dao of the people was broken—he’d remained as dashing as a scholar.
But now, he looked like a barbarian!
Li Hao bared his teeth in a leer.
Crazy?
Not at all!

It’s just... why did you attack my teacher? You’re forcing me to kill you!
With her power of the moon sealed, the queen’s presence freefell. Li Hao had circled around and slammed into her with a loud collision. He threw punches and kicked wildly; there wasn’t a trace of his previous genteel demeanor to be found!
It was like he was a true Silver Moon martial master only in this moment!
The divine spirits watching around them paled with dismay when they saw Li Hao turn the tables on the Moon God.
“Kill! Kill them all!” howled the Silver Moon martial master when they saw the situation change.
BOOM!
The martial masters that’d been fighting listlessly burst into frenzied motion. Even the urbane Earthturner Sword roared and burst through numerous acupoints. His body began crumbling just like Li Hao.
He wasn’t the only one to do so—all of the other Silver Moon martial masters followed suit!
“Gather around me!” shouted Hong Yitang. “I’ll defend, you guys kill enemies!”
BOOM!
A massive ring of defense appeared in the vicinity. Divine spirits attacked it and shook the land with the force of their blows, but no one was able to dismantle Hong Yitang’s setup.
Dao meridians manifested over Hong Yitang as he yelled, “KILL!”
“KILL!” echoed the martial masters. They hadn’t been very strong before, but seemed to revert to a state of when they could first unseal themselves. They forced open numerous dao meridians that they were yet to clear.
This was an absolutely viable course of action, slowly clearing acupoints was just a safer way to proceed. It prepared the body for the onslaught of energy and pressure. Forcing dao meridians open would render them in a state similar to when they unsealed themselves—an eventual collapse of their body.
But now, fury beset them!
This had been a battle in which they hoped for the New Martial powerhouses to kill divine spirits. And yet, perhaps it was because the New Martial heavyweights lacked bodies and were either just puppets or core origin replicas. Not only did they not exercise significant advantage, but they were suppressed in turn instead!
It was only then that the Silver Moon martial masters jerked awake. We can... rely on only ourselves!
Whether it was Li Hao or them, they were all wrong. How could they pin their hopes on New Martial? Hadn’t they previously demonstrated the might of Silver Moon even without help from the ancient civilization? They hadn’t feared death when they went toe-to-toe against the nine ministries and three great organizations. They unsealed their battle strength to pit themselves against Arcanus!
Why didn’t the same thought cross their mind today when the battle situation was dire? They could forcefully unseal themselves!
The martial masters jerked awake when Li Hao forced his potential through. So... we can do the same as we’ve always done!
“Damn straight!” He Yong threw his head back with laughter. “It’s like I’ve gone back to when we could unseal ourselves. I am unrivaled when I am unsealed!”
“You still drag us down even when you unseal yourself, Little He,” chuckled Northern Fist. “Watch us!”
Rumble!
Dao meridian after dao meridian exploded open. Who had the patience to whittle through acupoints one by one? They could just outright blow everything open to beat these divine motherfuckers to death. Going at it ten acupoints at a time was such a hassle!
Kaboom!
Powerhouses under Hong Yitang’s protection threw consideration of their own safety out the window and let loose with their full battle strength. They permitted their bodies to crumble away and rushed the divine spirits!
Whether it was divine spirits or New Martial powerhouses, all were shaken by the sight.
Li Hao continued yelling in the distance and landed punch upon punch, kick upon kick. He wrapped around the queen to batter her with everything he had!
All of the Silver Moon martial masters seemed to have awoken! What were they afraid of? What were they concerned about?
We have no scruples or misgivings about anything! That is why the world fears Silver Moon province! It is not because of New Martial powerhouses that we are able to gain our footing!
......
The queen continuously coughed up blood and yelled again and again. She wanted to fling Li Hao away, but the young man stuck to her like glue. No matter what she did or how hard she hit him, he erupted with all the strength he had to doggedly entwine around her being.
He laughed with sheer abandon and smashed his fists down. The queen’s body was indeed formidable—all divine spirits possessed such bodies—but it visibly fell apart as he pummeled it. Not only did Li Hao seek to physically smash her apart, but he extended her senses and energy to probe her body.
“What are you doing?!” the queen shrieked with outrage. How dare this shameless cretin search her body?! He wasn’t leaving any corner unturned either! No matter how strong she was, she was a woman in the end! Divine spirits were people too and had their own dignity to consider.
Li Hao ignored all that and imprisoned her with one arm, permitting her to strike back as she would. His other arm furiously searched through her body. He would find that body dao meridian! Only through that would his body recover. Otherwise, whether it was sword energy or Water of Life, both of those may not help him heal the Silver Moon martial masters.
RUMBLE!
The queen was deeply infuriated and exploded with even stronger power, slapping pieces of Li Hao’s flesh off him. The young man continued to thrash her!
Blood and gore flew from each other’s bodies as they bombarded each other relentlessly. There was no end to the vicious combat.
The berserk Silver Moon martial masters were completely out of control. Tyrant Blade grunted and sliced a divine spirit into two. Sky Sword quickly followed up with a slash that pulverized the two halves.
The world shook from their actions. A divine spirit had died. It was only now that true fatalities appeared among the combatants after such a long period of fighting.
The student puppets and plant spirits jerked with surprise. When powerhouses were equally matched, it was very difficult for them to kill their opponents. Of course, it also had to do with the fact that none of them were on the battlefield in their primary bodies.
All the same, they’d felt that the Silver Moon martial masters would have to rely on them to get anything done.
But now, they hadn’t lost anything and neither had the divine spirits lost anything. The first divine spirit to die had fallen to a martial master.
“The god of misfortune!” howled someone from Divine Nation. How could this be?! A god had died!
Several divine spirits more suited for battle roared with outrage. The god of war struck with his fist and detonated Hong Yitang’s Earthturner Sword Formation!
Hong Yitang staggered away, his body crumbling and a supernatural character in front of him also fracturing. He shook his head with some regret. His formation hadn’t lasted the entire battle! The stalwart defense that he’d provided to his comrades could no longer be maintained; the martial masters could no longer deploy the same battle strength without distraction as before.
Li Hao was still engaging the queen in a feverish bout of action. He didn’t voice any war cries or command the plant spirits and student puppets to lay down their lives. He knew that all of them were holding back. This was just an excursion to earn some energy for them!
The student puppets would die if they were destroyed. It would also be a great loss to the plant spirits if they lost their replicas. So although there were plenty of powerhouses in the field, Li Hao’s side still found it difficult to cope with several dozen divine spirits.
Within the crowd, Director General Wang and the imperial guard were some of the few putting everything on the line. However, their efforts alone were insufficient to cow all of the divine spirits.
The situation was easily apparent to Li Hao, but he didn’t say anything. Just as he’d said to those at Evenround Martial, they could consider themselves as mercenaries. He paid them for their labor.
He knew that if the times were still New Martial, the students and plant spirits would be bringing their full strength to the battlefield. They would even self-detonate against the enemy. The several dozen divine spirits would suffer heavy casualties!
He didn’t make this demand, nor did he have the ability to pose it. This was no longer New Martial! They were just cooperating with him and hadn’t sworn allegiance to his banner.
BOOM!
A tremendous collision sounded as Li Hao punched through the queen’s body. She howled with outrage as some parts of her detonated so that she could escape from the young man’s grasp. Her badly bruised and battered face had lost all traces of her previous distant cool. Crazed fury twisted her features!
Li Hao had been searching her body from beginning to end, not letting a single part of her go unscathed! Not only that, but that last punch had run through her body and... ended up out of her crotch. He was... unspeakably despicable!
The young man was hateful and evil. He deserved death, he deserved annihilation!
She’d hailed him a great talent before, but now she bawled with outrage, “You disgusting thing! This queen will chop and dice you even if it means the end of Divine Nation today!”
RUMBLE!!
The world agitated—she’d gathered the energy of the four cardinal directions and howled. The ruler of Divine Nation hardly appeared the part of a queen now, she was more like a harlot shrieking in the streets. The woman shot for Li Hao!
KABOOM!
A series of punches left Li Hao’s fist shattered and the queen’s fist in barely better shape.
“Retreat!” Li Hao called out with a laugh. “The coming days are long and we’ll whet our appetite with one divine spirit’s death today. Withdraw!”
“You want to go?!” screamed the queen. You killed a divine spirit, crushed my body, humiliated me, flayed me alive, and now you want to leave?!
“Can you stop me if I want to go?” Li Hao’s laugh deepened. “I go if I want to go. Do you think you can stop me?”
He abruptly blasted through more acupoints—a full three hundred and sixty of them were visible by now. The world seemed enveloped by a sun as an extremity of power rushed out. An aura from Li Hao’s fist enveloped the world when he punched.
“Back away!” the queen roared after a shriek of horror.
RUMBLE!!
Explosions, collisions, and wails of terror engulfed the city. Li Hao’s side was stunned and thought about following up on their liege’s fearsome blow when his voice echoed calmly through the air.
“I underestimated our opponents. We can withdraw for today. There’s no need for unnecessary sacrifices because of my arrogance. Withdraw, we will commence the battle another day!”
“Commander!”
“Retreat!” Li Hao repeated.
Although the people were immensely reluctant, they’d reached the limits of their capabilities. Their bodies were almost in pieces, so they had to swiftly take to the air and board the warships. The army on the ground disengaged from their opponents and withdrew.
