Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 604: Resurrecting The Beast

Sicario had learned a long time ago that the Beast of the Apocalypse always formed a new body whenever it resurrects from the dead, so right now, this body would only serve as a trophy for what Jason had accomplished. Did Jason intend to use his powers as a Necromancer to revive it? That would be very impressive and also a little terrifying. Jason was already a powerful entity in his own right, especially since he had enough power to take down a beast like this, and he already had many powerful beasts under his command. So adding the corpse of a Rank II TITAN to the mix would only make it more impressive.

Sicario smiled, and he began to hover off the body of the beast while speaking.

"Very well then, my goal is accomplished, so I best be on my way. Since you were responsible for dealing the final blow, I believe it is only right that I leave this spoil of war to you. I hope you put it to good use, Jason Marc. And on the day we meet again, let it be as friends rather than strangers."

Jason grinned thankfully and gave Sicario a small nod in response, and Sicario’s smile widened before he finally coated his whole body in his golden mana and shot off into the distance!

BOOM!

Once he was gone, Jason let out a small sigh in relief and looked down at the corpse beneath him. In truth, Jason had been worried that Sicario would try to take the beast for himself, or worse, that Sicario would ask Jason to show him what he was going to use the beast for. Jason would have had to get rid of him if he had done that because Jason wasn’t interested in sharing his abilities with anyone. But Jason was just glad that Sicario seemed like a reasonable person. The Magical Oath that Sicario had made Jason sign was a little strange, but Jason just decided to overlook it since it was harmless either way. Jason didn’t know what sort of world Sicario was from, so maybe it was a matter of honour in Sicario’s world to repay the debts that you owed.

Jason went down to one knee, and he touched the beast’s body with a hand and felt the cold aura that was still flowing out from it. Even though it was floating in literal lava and it had already lost all traces of its life, this beast was still strong enough to release this much cold aura. Jason couldn’t help but be impressed.

’And now it’s all mine.’

Jason grinned like a madman as he searched deep inside himself and found the connection with the beast sitting at the centre of his consciousness! Jason had a special connection that he shared with each and every member of his Legion, but before the connection is formed, there is another connection that Jason feels whenever he is about to resurrect a new Legion member, like he was holding a slack rope and he only had to pull it in order to resurrect the subordinate. And right now, Jason could feel that connection tying him to the soul of this beast. Jason was certain that he had successfully intercepted the Beast’s soul and taken it hostage!

But for something like this, Jason was sure that he would need more than just a little mana, so he released a calm breath before he pressed his hand against the beast’s back and unleashed more than a million points of mana!

"Resurrect."

The entire world shook as Jason’s mana travelled across the air, but Jason frowned when nothing happened, and he realised that the resurrection had failed. That was more than a million points of mana, and it still wasn’t enough to get past the ego of this beast!? Jason couldn’t help but laugh in excitement at the sheer willpower the beast must have, and he strengthened his resolve and poured out even more mana! If the beast thought that something like this would be enough to save it, then it had another thing coming!

DOON!

Jason poured out 1.5 million mana points all at once, and he drew on the beast’s soul with all his willpower.

"Resurrect."

The entire world of Helion immediately rumbled like a massive earthquake was passing through it! Jason felt the lava sea churn and rise as massive waves formed from the intense tremors! A strong cold wind blasted across the surface of the molten world and froze everything into solid rock, and Jason’s smile turned into something feral as he watched the beast rise from the undead!

It was a behemoth creature that was no less terrifying than it had been when it was alive! The beast stood at a height tall enough to make Jason look like an ant in comparison, and its pure white hair and eyes glowed with a bright purple light! Once it appeared from the abyss, the beast raised its head into the air and let out a loud, earthshaking bellow!
