Gina quickly dashed forward to meet the prisoners, and Stella wasted no time as she stopped in the air and pulled out a stick from behind her that expanded into a massive bow! 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Gina knew that the prisoners here were all somewhere in the SSS Rank as well, but even though they were in a similar rank to her, Gina was certain that she could kill all of them since she had all the boosts that came with being a part of Jason’s Legion, as well as the power of a Sage. Gina had been training her Sagehood abilities ever since she found out about them, and she could already tell that her mana consumption was reducing very quickly with each attack she made. At this rate, it was only a matter of time before she could unleash massive attacks without consuming any mana at all!

Gina clashed with the prisoners, and Stella let out a breath before her eyes turned yellow and she began to pull her bow back! There was no arrow on the bow, but once Stella pulled back the string, an arrow made from pure energy materialized in her hand, and she closed one eye and aimed straight for Destro before she unleashed the arrow!

BOOM!

A massive sonic boom echoed through the area as the arrow flew true, and Destro turned around with wide eyes when he noticed the power within that attack. The bow Stella used was an SSS Rank Artificial artefact called [Abyssal Quiver]. Stella had bought it from an Eternal Wanderer during the Period of Lawlessness, and it was designed in a way that allowed whoever wielded it to create arrows using their mana. This meant that the weapon would be either very weak or very strong, depending on who was wielding it! The arrow slammed into Destro’s back, and Destro screamed as the attack finally forced him back to the ground! On the other side of the battlefield, Gina stabbed a wind blade into the head of a prisoner blocking her way before she nodded at Stella, and they both flew down to finish the job!

Jason saw all of this happen, and he sent a message to Gina using his mental link and told her to be careful because of the baby. Gina told Jason that she was fine and the baby was also fine, but no matter how much she tried to convince Jason that she was fine, there was no way Jason wouldn’t worry. Jason just told Gina to be careful, and he let out a calm sigh before he finally turned towards the two prisoners who had been bothering him all this time. The first one that had runes carved all around his body was also watching Jason closely, and Jason wondered what he was thinking about. A massive dragon roared as it charged down towards the man covered in runes, and Jason just watched patiently to see what the man would do! The dragon unleashed dragonfire on the man, but the man easily slapped away the fire, and a rune on his arm glowed with a golden light!

BOOM!

A massive sonic boom echoed through the area, and the dragon’s head was immediately destroyed and blown to pieces! Jason felt his eyes narrow in shock when he saw what had just happened.

’What the hell was that? Why did the dragon die? He never even moved.’

Jason was shocked because he hadn’t seen the man move at all! This wasn’t a situation of the man being able to move so quickly that he avoided Jason’s sight completely. No, Jason knew that he was faster than that man and he also knew that the man couldn’t move without Jason at least following his afterimages! But right now, Jason was certain that he didn’t see the man move at all! The rune on the man’s hand had glowed, and in the next moment, the dragon’s head was gone!

Jason frowned as he tried to figure out whether the rune on the man’s arm had anything to do with what just happened, but even after analysing the rune, Jason saw that its only function was to boost strength and speed! There was literally nothing in that rune that could explain what just happened! Jason realised that he couldn’t figure this out unless he saw the attack again, so he quickly sent a few more subordinates towards the man! But just like the first dragon, the second wave of dragons suffered the same fate, and they were easily killed without the man needing to move at all! The man turned towards Jason with the same expressionless look on his face, and Jason narrowed his eyes as he saw a rune glow on the man’s legs.

’What is he going to – huh?’

The man was right in front of Jason! Jason’s eyes were wide in shock as he saw a palm reaching out for his face, and for the first time in a very long time, Jason had no idea what had just happened! The man grabbed Jason by the face, and he spun around and activated another rune that glowed with a red light before a massive explosion went off on his palm as he tossed Jason to the ground!

Jason flew back like a bullet, but before he could slam into the ground, he simply stopped himself, and he floated into the sky with a frown. There was smoke rising from Jason’s clothes, but he easily dusted himself off before he turned to glare at the man once more. That was unexpected, and it was also very enlightening.

’It’s like teleportation. But it’s different. This is something that defies the law of nature. When he came up to me, I didn’t even see him move. It was almost like he erased the distance between the two of us and made things just happen. That means there is something like teleportation involved, but more complex. I need more data.’

Jason put his hands behind his back as he slowly rose through the air, and the man watched Jason closely from his place on top of the black disk Jason had been standing on. Jason had a curious expression on his face, like a man who was trying to understand the actions of a lesser creature, and Jason decided that he would get to the bottom of this.

The moment Jason gave the order, all hell broke loose around the man! Multiple dragons charged in from the side as they tried to kill the man, but the man easily got rid of them without needing to move at all! The loud TITAN Ranked Skrill appeared from the side, and it unleashed a blast of sonic waves at the man, but the man vanished from where he was standing and appeared above the Skrill before the Skrill suddenly felt an insane force slam into its back and send it crashing to the ground! Many more subordinates charged in, and the man continued to kill them without a care in the world. But the man turned around calmly when he felt someone gathering power behind him!

An SSS Rank Machina was pointing its cannon blaster towards the man, and the Machina suddenly unleashed its laser beam with enough force to eradicate a small village! But the man only brought up a hand, and he easily stopped the laser beam from touching him! The man then turned towards the Machina, and a rune glowed on the man’s palm before the Machina was immediately beheaded! This continued for a long time, with more than a hundred Legion subordinates charging straight for the man without giving him any rest, but no matter how many of them there were or how quickly they came in, the man never needed to move as he killed all the enemies without any effort!
