Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 640: What Sort of Power Is This?

For a long moment, Jason just watched to see what the man would do next, but what happened next was something completely unexpected. A bright circle of light suddenly erupted into life a few kilometers away from the battlefield, and Jason turned to see that it was a Dimensional Circle opening! Jason frowned and quickly got ready for a fight since he thought that this was another attack from the Machina, but Jason blinked in surprise when he saw multiple horsemen riding out from the dimensional circle, followed by a large, extravagant carriage. The men were wearing armor that Jason recognized easily, and Jason could only watch on in disbelief as the carriage came to a stop just outside the large forcefield that was surrounding the battlefield. The door opened, and multiple soldiers went to stand on either side of the carriage as an elaborate red carpet rolled out from the door and provided a platform for Hesabeth to step out calmly.

Hesabeth was dressed as immaculately as ever. Her dress was a deep red and gold that complemented her hair and eyes, and there was a chain of jewelry decorating her hair like a veil. She had a necklace with multiple rubies around her neck, and in her hand was a fan that she used to cover her lower face as she frowned in disgust at the world around her.

’What the hell is she doing here?’

Jason turned to the side when he heard Gina’s voice in his head, and he saw that Gina was looking at Hesabeth with the same shock and confusion that he was feeling. The fighting had paused as all the prisoners turned to look at Hesabeth, and it was as if the entire world revolved around her in that very moment! Hesabeth turned up to gaze at Jason with lidded eyes, and Jason was surprised when he saw her eyes narrow as if she was smiling at him before she turned away and frowned at the forcefield in front of her.

"How troublesome. Someone dares to use a force field to block my path. Unacceptable. I want it gone."

Hesabeth only said these few words and frowned as she glared at the forcefield, and what happened next was something that Jason would never be able to fully comprehend!

RUMBLE!

A deep, world-shaking echo rumbled across the sky as the entire world darkened, and Jason felt an immense power suddenly appear in the air above them! This power was far beyond what Jason currently possessed, and Jason was certain that it was at least at the TITAN Rank III level! The power shot through the air like a bullet as it raced down towards the battlefield, and it easily passed through the forcefield and slammed into the prisoner who had been floating in the sky earlier! The only thing Jason saw at that moment was a bright ball of light whizzing across the air, and at the next moment, the entire world exploded!

KA-BOOM!!

Jason had to turn around and grab Gina to protect her from the insane shockwave that suddenly spread out over the battlefield! All the prisoners and legion members that were still standing around were immediately thrown away like ragdolls! The ground shook, the air sizzled, and the very foundation of the world seemed to tremble as the immeasurable power washed over it!

Crack!

A sound like glass breaking echoed over the battlefield, and Jason was shocked when he felt the shield over their heads breaking into a million pieces and falling over them like shards of glass! This continued for a few more seconds, and it was only after Jason heard a gasp coming from below that he finally let go of Gina and looked down at what was happening. On the ground below was a woman whose body was made from white light. Her hair flowed behind her like the tendrils of some cosmic being, and her eyes were deep black pools of emptiness that gazed upon everything with great intelligence. The woman looked around like she was confused about why she was there, and Jason could immediately tell that her appearance in this world was not something she had planned! For a moment, Jason wondered what the woman was going to do. He could feel an immense pool of power coming from the woman’s body - power that was greater than anything Jason had ever felt before. And Jason knew that if she got into a fight here, then there was no chance anyone would be able to defeat her.

But surprisingly, the woman seemed to accept that she was not meant to be here, and she turned to look up at Jason curiously before she smiled and bowed her head to him apologetically, and then she took off into the sky and vanished into another Dimensional Circle. And on the ground where she just left was the dead and broken body of the strongest prisoner.

There was no way. There was no fucking way that this just happened! Was this also part of Hesabeth’s abilities!? Was it really possible for someone to have so much Bias that they could literally manipulate the universe with nothing but a few words?

’What sort of power does this woman have!?’

Jason didn’t know why he felt a great anger in his heart as he turned to look at Hesabeth. Since she was standing right outside the forcefield when all of this happened, she had been protected from both the pressure and the shockwave, so her clothes were still perfectly pristine, and she looked just as calm and confident as when she first arrived! In one move, and with only a few words, Hesabeth had both killed the strongest prisoner as well as destroyed the barrier that was standing in her way without needing to lift a finger! That wasn’t something anyone could fight against! Someone like this shouldn’t fucking exist!

The entire battlefield was as silent as a graveyard as they simply watched Hesabeth. Even though Hesabeth hadn’t moved a muscle, there was an instinctive realisation that went through the minds of everyone there, and they all knew without a doubt that Hesabeth was the one responsible for what just happened! 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

The red carpet under Hesabeth’s feet started to move forward once again, and Hesabeth walked into the battlefield with a calm composure, and she allowed her eyes to gaze over everything around her. Hesabeth finally stopped walking when she got to the middle of the battlefield, and she folded her fan and spoke in a clipped tone.

"It would appear that things have taken quite a turn over the past few months. From my knowledge, the council only gave the Machina authority to capture Jason Marc using the forces within their army. But as I look around me, there appears to be some unsavory characters who are not even worthy of gazing upon my presence standing before me. Roranda, come here."

Hesabeth called out, and one of the largest soldiers in her army quickly walked forward and fell to his knee beside her. Hesabeth took off a ring and handed it to Roranda regally before she commanded.

"Take that and report this incident to the council. The Machina will have to answer for their actions here."

"Yes, your Majesty."

Roranda bowed, and then he turned to mount his horse before taking off. Once he was gone, Hesabeth looked around again. The entire battlefield disgusted her, and the fact that she had to look at the disgusting prisoners who had been released only made her mood worse. The Machina did not have the right to use these prisoners the way they were doing right now, and Hesabeth knew that this was the reason why the Machina had used the forcefield to make sure no one could leave here. The Machina had been hoping that all the prisoners and Jason would kill each other before anyone would find out what was going on. How deplorable.

Hesabeth sighed in irritation before she finally spoke.

"I will only give you all this one chance. Return yourselves to your prisons and remove yourselves from my sight."
