Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts-Chapter 723: Conclusion
The spear fell down, forcing the gorgon to switch her target. The snakes went for the spear, trying to break it apart like how the cross shattered earlier.
Unfortunately, this was not a normal spear. If this was the spear ability Brunhild once used, she might not be able to pierce through the gorgon.
However, this spear contained the magic of desire. And that desire was to kill the gorgon.
The spear unleashed a terrifying might as it obliterated the snakes. There was some resistance from the snake, but Brunhild didn't fight alone this time. The spear's power was amplified one step further by none other than Sera.
"Shaaaa!" The gorgon screamed, releasing all her power. She even shot her poison toward the spear, but the spear obliterated everything in its path.
The gorgon desperately tried to stop it, even with her remaining arm, but to no avail. The spear destroyed her hand and shredded her entire body apart.
The moment it touched the ground, the earth trembled as the blinding light illuminated the entire town before vanishing completely, revealing the human-sized spear planted on the ground with no gorgon in sight.
"You… You…" Sebastian was astounded. There was no way Sera could defeat his gorgon so easily.
However, the proof was right before his eyes.
He had made two miscalculations. The first one was Sera's strength, while the second one was Noelle's appearance.
That was right. Although she wasn't flashy, if one took a look at the size, Noelle had just cut Tanya's left arm. It was only a matter of time for her to win.
Without Noelle stopping Tanya, she could help Sebastian and make the battle much harder.
The reason Sera could fight without worry was none other than her.
"This is the end." Sera waved her hand. "Brunhild. Take him down!"
"Understood." Brunhild immediately flew toward Sebastian.
"You. Stop!" Sebastian waved both hands. A black sphere emerged, isolating him inside. Then the black sphere expanded, which made Brunhild sense danger.
Even then, Brunhild charged forward without hesitation. This energy was similar to the tentacle, so she knew what would happen if she continued.
Still, there was nothing to fear.
She thrust her spear and clashed with the energy directly.
"Die!" She shouted, unleashing every bit of her strength. Finally, her spear pierced through the barrier.
She continued onward and ripped apart the sphere as her spear stabbed Sebastian in the chest.
Even though there was pain all over her body with some parts of her skin melting due to the energy, it was not at the level she couldn't endure. After all, she had experienced the most painful experience in her life.
"Gah!" Sebastian spat out a mouthful of blood. There was a trace of regret in his eyes. Despite talking big this whole time, he was actually outplayed by Sera and the others.
Before he could say anything, Brunhild actually sliced up to cut off his head, ultimately killing him. There was no mercy. Even the Pope had told her not to keep any of them alive.
So, it was time to end the suffering of the children.
"Listen here. I didn't lose to you!" Belphegor gnashed his teeth as he snapped angrily.
Asmodeus snorted while looking away. "To borrow my master's words, cope harder."
With the familiars disappearing, the path of victory opened up.
Sera immediately turned to Eric. "This is the time. We will split up and take down the remaining people. However, those summoners who have been brainwashed still have the chance.
"We'll neutralize them and try to see if we can fix them or not. I will go into the building to check the situation inside."
Eric nodded. The Pope had the same intention regarding those people, so he cooperated with Sera.
Before going inside, Sera turned to Brunhild and Asmodeus.
"Good work, both of you."
"Thank you, Mistress…" Brunhild was panting quietly. She couldn't help but ask, "If it's not too much to ask, may I return immediately, Mistress?"
"Mhmm? Is there something wrong? You don't look good." Sera frowned.
"No. It's nothing. It's just…" Brunhild looked down, feeling a bit embarrassed. She came closer to Sera and whispered, "I'm… a bit turned on."
"…" Sera was speechless. She hurriedly turned her head to Asmodeus, glaring at him.
"It can't be helped. My magic is able to bring out her full potential, but at the same time, it has this flaw. I'm still the sin of lust, so it can't be helped."

Sera's eyebrows twitched as she said, "Alright. You should go back. I'm going to take care of this demon…"
"Thank you." Brunhild let out a sigh. She had been resisting it this whole time, so it was relieving that Sera recalled her.
Meanwhile, Asmodeus rubbed his hands on each other with a sly grin on his face. "Don't be mad at me, my dear lady. I'm doing it for you."
"Doing it for me?"
"Yes. Take a look at this." Asmodeus raised his finger. "Lady Selena is taking care of Master Nathan with the help of her vampire. If you take a look at his teacher, doesn't she also have that beautiful fairy that is lusting for him?
"If we think of it this way, we shouldn't lose, my lady. Of course, this is not a competition, but at the same time, Brunhild is a beautiful woman whose beauty is no less than yours.
"When you and Lady Selena tried to stop him, you had to work together. So, what would happen if you went alone with Master Nathan? You will need someone to help you. Besides, if she hasn't considered such an option, Lady Brunhild won't really accept the magic."
"Oh? That makes sense…" She thought for a moment before nodding her head, forgetting how gullible she was.
"Fine…" She let out a long sigh before walking toward the building. "Anyway, help me with this building."
"Of course. I'll work hard in her stead as well."
Sera nodded. "Still, I wonder if the others have accomplished their objectives or not…"
"I don't think you should worry about that. One group has Master Nathan, who hasn't failed on a mission. The other group has the monstrous Lady Selena. We're actually the ones with the highest risk of failing…"
"Fair enough."
