They have a few basic rules every clan needs to follow, as long as you do that, you are good to go,

I'll now give the summary of the rules I am talking about,

First, all the Clans need to register themselves with the Ancestral Order.

Second, No Clan is allowed to Attack another Clan. If the two clans have any sort of feud, submit it to the Order and issue a 'Challenge'.

Third, If a Stronger Clan challenges a Weaker Clan, the Weaker Clan has the power to select the rules, they can even decide the cultivation level of the opponents they will be facing.

Fourth, Weaker Clans can challenge Stronger Clans, however, in this case, the weaker Clans do not have the power to make rules.

Fifth, A Clan has the right to refuse the Challenge, however, this does not mean you can harass other clans and then refuse the challenge and be untouchable. The Ancestral Order does not protect you. If you continuously reject 5 challenges within 1 month, the Ancestral Order starts looking into the matter and the moment you are found guilty of something, well, you then face not the other clans, but the Ancestral Order itself.

These are the gist of the rules, in conclusion, just don't start a fight without informing the Order, and you are good to go.
