Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!-Chapter 361: She’s coming this way
"So you’re saying that the Ghost Mask is capable of copying the appearance of other creatures?" Arabel asked after she calmed down a bit and Idan took the initiative and told her about his discovery.
Idan nodded in response to Arabel’s question, confirming her words. He also showed her his ghost mask, and she immediately took out hers and started comparing the two.
"You noticed the difference, didn’t you?" asked Idan.
Arabel was a little embarrassed at the question and shook her head.
She was so surprised that she lost control of herself for a moment when she saw the heir of the Dark Beast Territory in front of her, and she didn’t have time to notice anything.
"Usually, the Ghost Mask only changes our face, the color of our eyes, hair, skin, and even our aura, but it doesn’t affect our body structure," Idan began to explain when he saw the embarrassment on Arabel’s face. "However, this new ability, which allows you to copy the appearance of other creatures, not only repeats all these changes, but also transforms the body itself."
Hearing Idan’s words, Arabel, of course, did not remain indifferent and remembered how he looked when he put on the Ghost Mask.
"He was almost indistinguishable from the real heir!" she exclaimed to herself.
"This is unbelievable!" she exclaimed, and Idan nodded back, smiling.
"But how did you come up with this idea?" asked Arabel.
"When I put on the mask and let all the awakened ones into the spatial storage, I wondered if I should still keep my disguise. I remembered the heir of the Dark Beast Territory, who was in the spatial storage, and the thought dawned on me: what if...?" shared Idan.
"And as a result, you discovered this?" Arabel was amazed at Idan’s resourcefulness. Then she muttered: "Why didn’t we think of that before?"
"Previously, we didn’t need to disguise ourselves as someone specific, so we didn’t think about this possibility," Idan expressed his opinion, and Arabel nodded, agreeing with him.
Indeed, they used to use a Ghost Mask only to hide their true identity, without considering the possibility of disguising themselves as someone specific from existing beings.
"Idan, — Arabel called.
"What?" he asked.
"Don’t take the form of this heir unless absolutely necessary, okay?" said Arabel, looking into Idan’s eyes with a serious expression on her face.
When Idan saw Arabel so serious and remembered the injuries the real heir had suffered, he got goosebumps. He gave her a quick nod of agreement.
"That’s good," Arabel said with a smile.
That smile on her face only strengthened Idan’s resolve to think twice before trying to assume the appearance of the heir of the Dark Beast Territory in front of her eyes.
At the same time, Idan was filled with curiosity. What had happened between them that made Arabel hate him so much?
Arabel, noticing Idan’s thoughtful look, immediately understood what he was thinking about. She didn’t know how to properly tell him about that awkward situation.
Fortunately, to her relief, Idan didn’t ask any questions, which confused her even more.
Through his contract, Idan received feedback from Ned, so he was aware that he hadn’t left Erza’s mansion yet.
"And what are we going to do with the boy? Shall we take him with us to our world?" asked Idan, remembering the boy he had abducted.
"We can’t just let him go," Arabel said. "So we have no choice but to take him with us."
Arabel and Idan had similar concerns.
They both realized that the boy didn’t know too many of their secrets, and they could find a way to erase his memories and bring him back. However, realizing Erza’s true nature, they didn’t want to just let the boy go. They were sure that he was misinterpreting the current situation, and he would be much safer if he was under their supervision.
When the issue with the boy was settled, the couple began discussing their future plans. Suddenly, Idan felt the familiar pull again and froze in disbelief.
But looking at Arabel, who was staring at him intently, Idan remembered the messages she had sent him.
"Damn!" he blurted out.
"What happened?" — Arabel worried, noticing Idan’s sudden change of mood and hearing his curses.
"She’s coming this way," the feeling of attraction grew stronger by the second, and Idan immediately realized that she was heading straight for them.
"Who?" — Arabel asked, and her concern was immediately replaced by seriousness.
"Essora, — Idan replied.
"Essora?" asked Arabel, frowning.
"Yes, without a doubt, it’s her, if the boy didn’t lie that she was his sister," Idan said. He talked about the fourth ability of the Sphere of Secret Concealment and how he managed to find the boy. Idan also added that he now clearly feels the approach of a being who also has the blood of the Grandia Royal Family flowing through his veins.
"But why is she heading here?" asked Arabel, and Idan, hearing this, also wondered.
"It’s definitely not about me, because the boy couldn’t..." he began, but stopped before he finished. His gaze fell on the Sphere of Secret Concealment, which was rotating at an incredible speed, hiding from the whole world what was happening inside this cage.
"She’s heading for the Sphere," Idan guessed. "Since the Sphere has the ability to find those with the blood of the Grandia Royal Family in their veins, it’s likely that those who have this blood can sense her presence or attraction to the Sphere."
"So what do we do?" Arabel asked. "Has Ned gotten out yet?"
Idan shook his head at her question.
"Let’s wait for her," Idan suggested. "I’m sure she’s not coming here for us, but for this Sphere."
"And don’t forget that her little brother is with us," he added.
"You’re right," Arabel agreed. "We can find out from her what exactly is going on, and whether what the boy told us is really true."
Idan nodded in agreement, and they decided to wait for Essora to appear, while simultaneously preparing for a possible confrontation with her and escape.
