Chapter 441: Chapter 441: In Close Pursuit

Aiden Webb directly asked, "Do you have time later?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Hmm? Professor Webb wants to ask her out, what an auspicious day today, "Of course, of course, if a big shot like you needs me, I’ll make time."

"I’ll send you the address later."

"Alright, alright, I got it."

After they finished talking, they hung up the phone, Aiden found a suitable place for a conversation and sent over the address.

A while later, Joe arrived.

Sitting across from Aiden, suppressing the excitement in his heart, glancing left and right, he took a sip of grapefruit jasmine tea with a straw, "Professor Webb, is there something you need from me?"

"I wanted to ask about Moira’s recent situation," Aiden said.

Joe let out a sigh of relief, knowing he wasn’t so lucky to have Aiden find him for no reason.

"Sister Moira, she’s doing well, her New Year was nice, she’s in good spirits, but she’s planning to take a temporary break from the entertainment circle."

Aiden raised an eyebrow, a temporary break? No big deal, she’s free to do whatever she wants.

"Has she been with Julian Sinclair all this time?" Aiden asked directly after taking a sip of tea.

Joe nodded, "Yes, President Sinclair returned from abroad, not sure how they made up, but they’ve been inseparable lately, Professor Webb, you don’t know, it’s making me so jealous, they don’t let people have a peaceful New Year."

"Do you know she moved?"

"Yes," Joe continued, "just two weeks ago, Sister Moira called me saying she returned to the Sinclair’s residence, and told me to go directly there if needed, she’s not going back to the apartment anytime soon, the company is also considering assigning it to other artists."

Aiden’s eyes dropped slightly, his face remaining as expressionless as always, making it hard to read.

"Alright." He nodded and said to the person who was openly peeking at him, "Thank you for always taking care of her."

Joe snapped back to reality, waving his hands in a hurry, nervously saying, "No, no, it’s Sister Moira who takes care of me." He paused, touched his belly, and downed the fruit tea in his cup.

Having sorted out the situation, Aiden felt less tense and, seeing Joe’s actions, pressed the service button.

"Let’s order some food."

Joe’s round eyes widened, his lips curling upwards, unable to suppress the smile in his eyes, he nodded enthusiastically.

Ah, the male god is treating me to a meal, oh my!

At the Sinclair’s residence, Moira Young lay in Julian Sinclair’s arms as they watched a movie on the screen.

"I’m starting school the day after tomorrow, so I can’t wait at home for you to come back anymore."

Julian brushed his hand through the woman’s hair, "It’s fine, just come home at night."

On the screen, blood splatters, while pink fluff floats inside the house.

"Uncle, I want a kiss."

Once again, the room is brightly lit.

Two days later, it’s the start of the school term, in front of Moira Young’s school, packed with students carrying one or two pieces of luggage each, both from this city and others, momentarily dispersing the loneliness and tranquility within the school during the holiday.

"Alright, you’d better go to work, or else you’ll be late, I can go in by myself," Moira Young nudged the man and murmured.

The man clasped the hand trying to push against his arm, interlocking their fingers lightly, they said, "It’s fine, I’m the boss."

His words left Moira Young speechless.

"Even as the boss, you should set a good example, how will the employees view you if you’re late." Ultimately, she found words to counter him.

"I’ll leave after seeing you in," Julian Sinclair’s eyes were gentle.

Moira Young waved her hand, "No need, I can go in by myself."

Their sweet manner stirred envy in others.

Four or five meters away, Aiden stood by a tree, squinting as he walked over, his eyes dark.

"Moira."

Moira Young was gently pinching the man, and turned her head upon hearing the voice, "Brother, why are you here?"

Aiden walked up, his eyes slightly softer, "I heard you were starting school."

Moira Young smiled, attempting to pull her hand away, but the man tightly held on, feeling slightly embarrassed when looking at Aiden, as the surrounding students, especially the female college students, were all glancing their way, each more excited than the last.

"Hey, look, these two men are so good-looking."

"Geez, look at the one wearing the hat and glasses, oh my god, so handsome."

"Wow, are they both here for that girl? My god, they’re holding hands."

Scattered, excited voices reached Moira Young’s ears, her face turned increasingly red, her small head shyly lowered, while Julian Sinclair felt quite pleased, even seeing Aiden with somewhat unfriendly eyes didn’t bother him much.

The two tall men exchanged glances in the air for a few seconds before Aiden turned his head, saying to Moira Young, "Moira, lend him to me."

Moira Young looked up at the sound, "Oh, brother, why do you need Uncle?"

"To discuss some matters."

The cold tone reduced Moira Young’s embarassment slightly, with her face still a little pink, she noticed the atmosphere between the two seemed off and said, "Can I come?"

Julian Sinclair glanced at Aiden, tilted his head, pinching Moira Young’s chin, giving her a kiss on the brow, "Silly, business discussions between men, it’s very boring."

Moira Young was left feeling dizzy from this act, hearing some screams around, the blush on her face surged back up.

After patting her little head, Julian Sinclair took Aiden and turned to leave.

Moira Young watched their backs, cupping her cheeks, wanting to use cold hands to dissipate the heat, but unfortunately, Julian Sinclair had just warmed her hands to a perfect temp, quite cozy.

Ah, beauty is so deceiving!

After a while, the dazed person snapped out of it and quickly followed.

No matter what, Aiden’s expression made her a little uneasy. Even though he always had a stoic face, she somehow always understood his emotions accurately, it’s quite strange.

"Leave Moira."

As soon as the two men sat down, the atmosphere turned tense.

Julian Sinclair chuckled, "What, are you going to give me a breakup fee?"

Aiden’s face darkened, continuing, "You two aren’t suitable together."

"I think we’re a perfect match," Julian Sinclair narrowed his eyes, his tone turned serious.

"Julian Sinclair, if you want to date someone, anyone else is fine, just not Moira Young."

"Oh, and what does this have to do with you?"

"She’s..." Aiden stopped himself just in time and then said, "She’s now a sister I recognize, as a brother, it’s my duty to clear away any trouble for her."

Julian Sinclair sneered, "Who’s to say who the trouble is? Aiden, you’d better not meddle, Moira Young, in this life, and the next, in every lifetime, she can only be mine."

Aiden suddenly stood up, looking down at the person opposite him, "Impossible, I’ll take her back home." With that, he made to leave, Julian Sinclair quickly stood, grabbing Aiden’s arm.

Nearby, Moira Young, who had been keeping an eye on them, hurriedly stood up and dashed over.

"What’s going on, what’s going on?" Seeing the two men with faces like charcoal, Moira Young was about to try to ease the situation, but Aiden grabbed her and left, with Julian Sinclair following closely behind.
